PENTECOSTALISM UNDER THE MESSAGE VERSUS THE JOSHUA GENERATION
CHAPTER ONE
The eagle eyes of the prophet messenger of the
first gentile church age, Apostle Paul, saw and beheld the rising of the
antichrist and cried out to the early church: “The mystery of iniquity doth already work.”
The four beasts of Revelation chapter four
cried, “Come and see.” The religious world was exposed to the truth, for the
first time in human history, that the four horse riders of Revelation six were
the spirit of antichrist when the seven seals book was opened in 1963 by the
Lamb of God.
The eagle eyes of the prophet messenger of
the seventh gentile church age, Elijah; Malachi 4: 5-6, William Marrion Branham
warned of false anointed ones in the end time.”
John the divine cried to his flock, “Even now
are there many antichrists.” He also said that the antichrist shall come.
I
John
Jesus said, Matthew 24:24 <For there shall arise false Christs, and false
prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect.>
II
Thessalonians 2:3, 7-8 <Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day
shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;
For
the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let,
until he be taken out of the way.
And
then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit
of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.>
The revealing of the man of sin was by the son of man, at the loosing of the seals in
1963. The Lamb did truly reveal the seals as was prophesied by John the divine.
The mystery of iniquity was revealed.
The mystery of iniquity that was working in
the early church continued to work and became stronger and more deceptive in
each church age which followed. In the seventh church age, Christ was put out
of the church (Revelation
The
iniquity of Satan that
destroyed the 1906 movement of God, now referred to as Pentecostalism, has
crept under the message by the instruments of Satan: the false anointed ones (Matthew 24: 24). They are wolves in
sheep’s clothing under the disguise of the five-fold ministry. Men who have not
changed their spirit, their birth nor their seed of Pentecostalism and other
religions, after embracing the message of Malachi 4: 5-6, thus every seed is
producing church members under the message after its kind.
Nevertheless,
there is a Joshua generation in
the midst of the mixed multitude that followed Moses out of
Exposition of Damnable Heresies (E.O.D.H.)
book fifteen detailed the iniquities of Pentecostalism in no uncertain terms.
Many unscriptural and soul-destroying heresies and practices were exposed. It
also pointed out many such practices under the message. Chief heretics were
mentioned by names. Nevertheless, this work is committed to the exposition of
Pentecostalism under the message in a clearer
manner. God’s sheep are ordained to hear his voice, though it is farfetched
to the minds of many who are deeply swallowed by damnable heresies and the
vices of
TRAITS
OF PENTECOSTALISM
Total
reliance upon the 1906 outpouring for translation power and the rapture:
In 1906, they took tongues and made it the
initial evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is totally
unscriptural. There is not one Scripture anywhere that said that “when you
speak in tongues it is the evidence of the Holy Spirit.” When Jesus received
the Holy Ghost he never spoke in tongues. Even demons and people of false
religions speak in tongues. Added to this, people who received that 1906
outpouring afterwards lived vile, wicked and immoral. Hence an unjust person
could receive that 1906 article, yet people rely on that article to go in the
rapture regardless of these corrupt fruits that they manifest. Such people are
not preparing their souls by purging out the world to receive the final
outpouring of the Spirit for rapture power. Some totally deny such a promise
and believe that all is over for the Bride.
Manifestations
of Satan exposing women’s nakedness under a satanic power termed “the baptism of the Holy Ghost.”
So-called Pentecostal women fall to the ground
as they are slain under a power and pretense of receiving the Holy Ghost. Their
clothes raise up and expose them, they are almost naked on the floor, and the
workers have to run with sheets to cover them. It takes a nasty ghost to expose
women like that, and cause them to fight to pull up their skirts. It is a
disgrace and stumbling block to the unbelieving world.
Demon
possession under the disguise of the Holy Ghost.
People are being demon possessed rather than
receiving the Holy Ghost, evident by the satanic manifestations and immoral
lives they lead afterward. Some howl and scream like animals, laugh
uncontrollably, stamp their feet on others, swing their fists violently, go out
of control, fall on others and behave disorderly in the church.
The
rising of false prophets; false christs in flesh:
So-called Pentecost once condemned every man
that rose up and claimed to be a prophet, branding him as a false one. Today in
almost every assembly in Pentecostalism you can find an apostle or prophet, or
those who claim some sort of great ministry, and even some claiming to be
Christ in flesh. This fulfilled the prophecies of our Lord:
Matthew
24:5, 24 <For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall
deceive many.
…For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs
and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very
elect.>
Thus they are impersonators of the true
ministry of Christ prophesied to come in the end time.
Impersonating
the true five-fold ministry:
As a result of them being false prophets and
false apostles, we therefore have a false five-fold ministry of the devil,
impersonating the true five-fold ministry that God set in the early church and
that is to come in the end-time by a restoration. The five-fold ministry is now
in existence but is to be set in order only by the coming outpouring of the
Holy Ghost. Men assumed their offices and Satan deceived many into such office
claims.
I
Corinthians 12:28 <And God hath set some in the church, first apostles,
secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of
healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.>
Ephesians
Pentecostalism has forfeited the scriptural
order of correcting sins in the church that Jesus taught – Matthew 18: 15-18, and also the
apostles: 1 Corinthians 5: 2, 1 Timothy
Their system that
they have replaced is not far from the doctrine of the Catholic Church. They
allow members to live in sin, even in the vices of
A so-called “love gospel” was invented. It is
used in dealing with such matters, rather than proper scriptural discipline.
I
Corinthians 5:1-13 <It is reported commonly that there is fornication among
you…
… if any
man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a
railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
… Therefore
put away from among yourselves that wicked person.>
They assume that
they are manifesting love, but it is disobedience to the Word of God. The pastors,
their wives and children wallow in sin and are equally guilty as lay members. Thus they must compromise with the congregation. They are not willing to
lose membership, tithes, offerings and other financial support. They rather
compromise the souls’ salvation of all of God’s people. The “love gospel” of
compromise is fully established in the system of Pentecostalism. It is the tool
of Satan to change, pervert, modify and preach disobedience to God’s Word.
Compromise with sins of pastors and ministers. When preachers’ homes and families
are not in order, doing unscriptural things and living contrary to the word of
God, he is yet allowed to function as a minister though the scriptures forbid
him.
I
Timothy 3:1-5 <This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a
bishop, he desireth a good work.
A
bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of
good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Not
given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler,
not covetous;
One
that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all
gravity;
(For if a man know not how to rule his own
house, how shall he take care of the
Men with unsaved
wives, and wives ruling them around, using the office of deacons (tenders in
the House of God).
Sissified men that are women dominated. Dominating
females handling the Word:
Pentecostalism has
women, dominating females, handling the Word, claiming to be women of God. Writing
magazines, have their own websites, preaching in the bedroom to their husbands.
They come out on the pulpit and does their preaching. It produced a bunch of
sissified men that cannot control their homes.
After Pentecostalism rejected God’s restored
truth, God sent her strong delusions. She believed a lie and was damned by that
lie. They were accompanied by lying signs and wonders, since the Holy Ghost departed from so-called Pentecost. Some
laugh and cackle like a hen and make
many funny animal sounds. Others say
that the Holy Sprit makes them howl,
roar and scream, compounded by many fake healings.
They try to evangelize the gospel in
Prayer,
worship, manifestation of gifts: Fastings; Chantings.
Instead of laying hands on the sick, one
preacher used to cuff the patient anywhere the sickness was. If in your belly,
he’d hit you a punch. Hit you on the back, on the head. Every so-called
Pentecostal claims that God is speaking to him; God led them to do such and
such, and gives them fanatical dreams, visions etc that never come to pass.
Some copy the tongue speaking of others to appear spiritual. They claim to be
getting their own revelation which is higher and greater than that of the
pastor.
Pentecostalism chants and uses vain repetitions
in prayer and worship, saying, over and over, “Praise God! Praise God!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!” They rattle in tongues without interpretations. Jesus
said, use not vain repetitions. Paul said, if there is no interpreter, hold
your peace.
Others command and challenged God in prayer.
It is unscriptural, rude and disrespectful to God. It is in disobedience to the
Lord’s prayer that teaches us reverence and humility in prayer.
Some went on long fasts, for as much as forty
days, and a few died and others were treated for mental problems. There is no
scripture that commands Christians to go on long fasts. They assumed it by reading about the long fasts of
Moses, Jesus and others.
Many exercise fanatical faith: point to properties, vehicles, men, women etc.,
etc. and say, “I claim it in the name of Jesus Christ,” though articles are
owned by others. The Lord said, “Though shall not covet.”
Fanaticism
in songs and music:
Song leaders preach while leading songs.
Worldly musicians, who are recently converted, with their old ambitions, are
allowed to play music in the church and as a result, the sacred hymns are
perverted with worldly beats. So-called spiritual women and other members raise
songs and take the lead of songs away from the song leader while singing in the
congregation.
Holy laughter and
spiritual drunkeness revival:
Preachers and
congregations experience so much joy of the Spirit, that they laugh for hours,
jump and shout as the minister walks around laughing and blessing the people. They
fall backwards in their seats and some pass out with laughter. Many roll on the floor. Thousands have
experienced this revival. They act like drunk men, staggering, falling on each
other, laughing and stammering. It is linked to Acts 2 when the Holy Ghost was
outpoured.
The laughter revival is a satanic delusion
and madness. People are laughing their way unto the tribulation and unto hell.
It is totally unscriptural. None who
received the Holy Ghost in the Old Testament nor the New Testament manifested
in that manner.
The
prosperity-get rich gospel:
The word of faith
revival or the prosperity gospel is
a movement within Pentecostal
and charismatic
churches worldwide. Its central doctrine is that health and prosperity are
promised to all believers, and are available through faith.” “Other names, reflecting major aspects of the movement,
include "Name it and claim it", "The Prosperity Gospel",
and "Positive Confession".
Shameless
begging for money:
Preachers became millionaires and
billionaires without any shame. They beg without regard saying, ‘No coins
please.’ They have donation lines for those with five, ten, twenty and one
hundred dollar bills, respectively. More time is spent on money begging on the
radio and television than telling the people about their sins and salvation. One
preacher said, “To keep the devil away he needs jewelry, property, stocks and
bond. God wants you to donate.”
Total
disregard for the holiness standards of the Bible:
The greatest evil of Pentecostalism is that
the Spirit of God departed when they altered, destroyed, compromised, perverted, modified and blatantly changed the
holiness standards of the Bible that came by the prophets. As a result of that you cannot find the
Presence of God and the Spirit of God that is present amongst a holiness people.
Whenever the Spirit of the Lord
leaves a pastor and leaves a congregation, then the congregation is dry. The preacher’s preaching will be dry. There
wouldn’t be the joy that supposed to be there.
Then the youths will seek other means of joy and happiness. Backsliding would follow.
Anytime you lack the Spirit of God in your
own life you would start seeking
pleasure, because you must have some form of joy, some form of happiness.
And when Christians misses that in their lives because of taking chances on the Word, because of sins in their lives, they
are going to head back to the world. You would want more sightseeing. You would
want more women. You would want more
men in your lives. You would want sports, you would want television. You would
want to go mixed bathing. You would want to hear the wrong kind of songs. That’s the problem in the churches.
Former Pentecostal women of 1906 dressed in
modest apparel. Today, immodest and immoral and worldly dressing of both men
and women prevail. Women started hemming-up their skirts, later narrowed them
to hold their bodies and reveal their form in public. It advanced to mermaid style dresses, legs exposed,
pants and shorts. The women televangelists dress like the modern women, to
appear in public and on the TV screens before millions. They have to use some
paints on their faces, with chopped off hair, like the women of
To meet the modern condition of
Sports-ball teams, group competitions - preachers and
believers involvement:
Pentecostalism
perverted the teachings of the Bible on sports. There are four ways that you
can support sports. You could be a sportsman or you could be a sports fan.
Being a sportsman or being a spectator, you have the same devil inside of you.
Whether you go to the oval, or you have the radio phones in your ears, or you
look at it on TV, or search the papers or the magazine, you have the same devil
inside of you.
Pentecostalism did
not take heed to their messenger when he condemned ball games. Lovers of
pleasure more than lovers of God. The churches began having ball teams. Trying
to compare with the world.
Televisions
into homes. Perverted the homes and lives of the people:
So-called Pentecostals
who were once against cinema viewing, brought televisions into their homes and
spent much time watching sexually immoral and other movies that they ought not
to, even to the point of missing services (prayer meetings etc. were left out.)
Television became
the transport service of all perversions upon the earth in
And when I speak of television, the Internet
must be included, because of the nasty sins and vices that are on the Internet.
Christians should be against the Internet just as much as the television.
Certain Christians spend as much time on those videos, and many of them look at
blue movies.
Changed
of women’s dress under the
guise of liberating them from legalism:
Pentecostalism tried to harness the preaching
of God’s servant, Brother Branham, telling him to leave the women alone. They claimed
they were liberating the women. They liberated them from common decency.
Preachers’ dominating wives began to dress immorally, and the sisters took the
same pattern.
Ministers claim we have the women under
legalism and they are liberating the
women. They liberated them so
much until they led them into fornication and adultery and away from the Word
of God.
Worldly clothes and styles for men:
Pentecostalism has
accepted styles of the world for the men (though the Word forbids it): long
hair, baggy shirts and pants, high heeled shoes, all the latest styles of Sodom
and Gomorrah, pants hanging off their hips with underpants exposed, long
jerseys that have become a woman’s dress.
Romans 12: 2 <And
be not conformed to this world…>
Preachers,
their sons and the congregation are anointed by the same spirit of
Perversion
of sacred hymns and songs to worldly music:
Tunes to sacred hymns were change to
Rock-n-roll, Jazz, Soul, Country and Western music and beats etc. to attract
sinners’ attention for their salvation and to make up for the Holy Ghost which
departed from their churches.
Working women, higher education:
People became
worldly, ambitious and discontented. Women became career motivated, began using
birth control to either have a career, bring in more money in the home or
because they don’t want to lose their figure. They began to send their children
out into higher education at the expense of their souls. The children had to
change their dressing into the worldly school and work uniforms.
Immoral
sexual practices: fornication,
adultery, lesbianism, homosexuality, sodomy etc:
It is undeniable that many of the practices
and vices of
Modern preachers had homosexual affairs and
paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars in private settlements to cover their
nasty lives. Other great Pentecostal generals and writers were caught in sodomy
with men. The measure taken by other compromising hypocritical preachers was
that they continued to support such a preacher, and for the homosexual preacher
to step down from the pulpit, for a
short period of a few months, and seek counsel after which he resumed preaching.
Some promote same-sex or gay marriages
(Actual blessing on gay’s and lesbian’s marriages performed; pictures are shown
of men kissing men, mouth to mouth).
Several preachers were involved in sex
scandals, were exposed for having affairs with several women in their
congregations and even prostitutes. Some claimed to have repented, resumed
preaching and repeated the same crimes. Some stepped down and were succeeded by
others who ended up committing the same crimes.
Free-love
among teenagers (men and
women):
Some pair off after church services, kiss and
live immoral before marriage. It is called apostolic singles dating and soul
mating. They advertise for companions; males and females on the Internet. It is
wholesale prostitution. Many found ungodly companions. Paul said, “Be not unequally yoked together with
unbelievers.”
Rejection
and perversion of the message of William Branham:
So-called Pentecost rejected the message of
William Branham. Some took portions of it, perverted it and preach it as their
own revelation, never telling their congregations the source from where it
came; and on top of that, brand William Branham as a false prophet.
Details of Pentecostalism that have crept under
the message are included and itemized in this book. We believe that message
believers are spiritual enough to identify these items of Pentecostalism that
are under the message, in their own church and their own lives. The sincere in
heart will do so and seek the original Pentecostal blessing and true
manifestation of the Spirit. May the Lord bless their efforts.
For
years Bethel and E.O.D.H.
has exposed heresies and every form of Pentecostalism, without fear or favor,
internationally. In our work, major heretics and perverters of the message were
identified by names and their false teachings and office claims. Added to this
exposition are the updates of several heretics and their heresies. Also the
expositions of major heretics are condensed and are available in a single
booklet on the
Some are yet to be included, two of whom are
Macarthy and Kennedy of Central Trinidad. However, I will include in this book
their recent display of infidelity, since it will demonstrate many traits of Pentecostalism under the message in
respect of fanaticism, immorality and compromise. Dr. Frank’s exposition would
also be included for the same reason.
It is evident from E.O.D.H. Book fifteen and
this present work that the people miserably failed to fulfill the Word of God
under the system of Pentecostalism. They failed because the trusted in the 1906
anointing that was outpoured upon them, and neglected to purify their souls and
mortify the deeds of the body, which I would explain a little further under the
subject entitled “Detoxification Of The Soul.”
In this brief explanation and several other
chapters to follow, it will be infallibly proven that the followers of the
message have made the same fatal mistake of not detoxifying their souls and
have trusted in the same article of 1906 for translation power and the rapture.
1906 OUTPOURING – NOT THE FINAL
QUICKENING UNTO THE RAPTURE

W.M.B.: 377-2 This age
started just after the turn of the twentieth century. As it was to be the age
in which the true church would return to being the bride she was at Pentecost,
we know that there must of necessity be a return of dynamic power. The
believers sensed this in their spirits and began crying to God for a new
outpouring such as was in the first century.
What
seemed to be the answer came as many began to speak in tongues and manifest
gifts of the Spirit. It was then believed that this was indeed the long awaited
RESTORATION. It was not, for the latter rain can come only after the former
rain which is the spring or TEACHING rain. The latter rain, then, is the
HARVEST rain.
How
could this be the real thing when the Teaching Rain had not come? The
Prophet-Messenger who was to be sent to TEACH the people and turn the hearts of
the children back to the Pentecostal fathers had not yet come. Thus what was
thought to be the restoration and the final quickening unto the rapture had not
come. In it was a mixture of the unrighteous partaking of Spiritual blessing
and manifesting in the Holy Ghost as we have kept pointing out to you. In it
also was devil power as men were under the control of devils, yet no one seemed
to realize it. Then, to prove that it was not
the REAL, these people (even before a second generation had appeared)
organized, and wrote their unscriptural doctrines and built their own fences as
every other group ahead of them did. (A Resume Of The Ages - Church Age Book
Cpt. 10).
Detoxification of the soul
We targeted so-called Pentecost and we did a
good job, and some of the message believers, were brought into the picture. But
this morning because of recent developments, of what we have heard, what we
have witnessed, I believe that this is a stepping stone, to capitalize, a
little more on the subject of Pentecostalism Under The Message of Malachi 4: 5-6. I will subtitle this little
message: “Detoxification Of The Soul.” Of recent times in my absence, I was
doing two major things. I was trying to make sure that an old man (90 years of
age,) catches a fish. I am happy to announce that he was successful. From start
to finish, and he has the evidence by picture. His reflexes are very good.
And then secondly I
was studying, a little bit on something that a brother so graciously gave to
me, with his precious wife. That is a booklet on the Detoxification of the Body
and all the organs. That is from where I drew this little title. In studying
that, I thought, ‘as certainly as there is a detoxification of the body, then
most importantly is a detoxification
of the soul.’ And because people do not detoxify the soul they perish. And that
is the same as mortifying the deeds of the body. And if you mortify the deeds
of the body, you would live. And if you do not mortify your soul from all these
things you will die. Yes, so it made a great impression upon me, of the
detoxification of the soul. And this is the big problem of so-called Pentecost.
They did not detoxify the soul of all the spiritual poisons that contaminated
the church.
So, this man that
wrote this booklet, he is a renowned herbalist in the
But friends, you could do what you want;
sickness is an attribute of sin. And when God is ready to punish a man you
could send him through what detoxification you want, you could get the greatest
doctors, Brother Branham said that you could anoint him with oil, but unless
that sin is confessed, he is not going to get better.
This is a good
gesture, of Doctor Schultz; only one could say that and that is God. There is
no incurable disease to God. “I am the
Lord, thy God who healeth all thy diseases.” Healing is wrapped up in the
forgiveness of sins. But the man has one of the greatest literatures that I
ever read. His theory is based upon the fact that because of the food, the air
and the environment that we live in. Most sicknesses come because of the toxins
that our bodies gather. That
relates to heart problems, diabetes, every sickness that you could think about,
it comes from the clogging of the system. And these things that we are eating
and breathing and all the things that we are looking at, clogs the organs. When
it clogs the organs with poison, cancers and tumors come up. He himself was
given up by the doctors to die. Yes, and possibly he went to Doctor Christopher
who made up these herbal treatments and he said he cured himself, and defied
all the doctors.
People that are given up by doctors to die
with cancers and all kinds of horrible diseases, he detoxifies them, he has
schools and everything and they have many testimonies. Now brother, but still
the greatest healer is God. And he
could go through all those programs, and if the soul is not detoxified from sin
then that sickness will remain right there. So, if you are to follow this
program of detoxification, be sure that you detoxify the soul first. Purge out all your sins. So, if you notice
during this month, that I lose a little weight, I am not worried about Saul. I
am filling my horn with oil. “How long
mourn ye for Saul? Fill thy horn with oil.” There come a time when you are
burdened, then you pray, but when God draws that line, you draw that line
together and stand behind it.
So, if you see me lose
a little weight and so on, do not attach it to nothing that is going on. I am
going on a detoxification program. After eating all that food, for sixty years,
brethren, it must bother you. Even for ten years or twenty years, it will
bother you. And heap up all those poisons and stones and everything inside of
you. I believe in everything that is good for man.
On this exercise you
cannot eat any cooked food, no meats, no fish etc. All that you are eating is
raw food and drinking raw juices. Yes, and I am sure that it is going to have
some benefits in it. The amount of things that are prescribed to eat is too
much for me. I do not eat much in any case. I will go on normally, yes if a man
could fast for forty days, friends, and live through that, why a man just
cannot change his diet for important health benefits? Now that brings willpower. I feel that if there is a
need in your body, and if you are over fat, few are three or four hundred
pounds. I believe that you should make up your mind, and throw the weight off.
I believe that if you are sick and you got to use some herbs, you got to use
some medicine then you ought to use the medicine. Do not be stupid and say, “I
do not like this and I do not like that, and I only like Kentucky Fried
Chicken.” Well, sometime or the other you will have to purge out the

again a little bit on “Pentecostalism under the message. Detoxification of the
Soul.” I announce right here, that the great problem of so-called Pentecost is
that they never detoxified their souls,
for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to come inside of them. And this is the
same trend that the followers of Malachi
4 have followed.
Followers of message depend upon
1906 Experience
Yes,
they depend upon the 1906 article of so-called Pentecost and they are fast
becoming a disgrace. A disgrace to the message, a disgrace to the prophet of
Malachi 4: 5 & 6. A disgrace to holiness standard of the Word and message.
A disgrace of being powerless and claim to have the truth. Lacking the power of
Pentecost, lacking the gifts of the Spirit, lacking signs and wonders in
apostolic fashion. They are fast following that same pattern, even because they
have relied upon the anointing that
they came over with, from their organizations. If you were sincere and honest,
all that you had in your organization was an anointing on the flesh.
We preached, we spoke
in tongues, O, we manifested the gifts of the Spirit, we lived good Christian
lives, and that is commendable. But then the age has changed, the day has
changed, that is the whole contention of Book 15. It is that the age and the
day have changed where the token is required or you will perish. That is very
simple, and any honest heart will understand that. Any man that read those
books and listen to the tapes, if he is honest, he will agree with what was
written and spoken. And if he cannot agree with that, he is a hypocrite, and he
needs a complete detoxification of the soul.
So, I am announcing
right here, that the great problem of so-called Pentecostalism is that they
never detoxified the soul. Yes, and the people around the message, they want this Outpouring of the Holy
Spirit, but they have not detoxified their souls. And brethren, let us come
down to us. The great problem when you see a man fall, The great problem when
you see people backslides and go back into the world after five years, ten
years, fifteen years, twenty years, thirty years, it does not matter how many
years it is, is because they never detoxified the soul by the Word of God, and
by the blood of Jesus Christ. They never lay all on the altar.
Yes,
and if you understand that, when things go wrong in the House of God, with your
family, with your neighbor, with your brothers, with your sisters, you will
understand it from that point of view, that those people never did take heed to
the Word of God and purged out the
old leaven of sin and wickedness in their hearts. Now, when it surface it is a
great shock to everybody. Yes, but they knew in their hearts all the time, what
they were keeping back from the Lord.
It spells out
insincerity, dishonesty, hypocrisy, never evaluated the Word, never evaluated
the message never evaluated the labors of God’s servant, and then the Bible
said because of that, I will spit you out of my mouth. Yes. That is the
punishment in this age. A brother or sister could be sitting right in the
congregation and they have secret sins in their lives and you hear that they
backslide after ten or fifteen years, what is it that happened, is that the
Lord spit them out, because they
never took His counsel of buying of Him gold tried in fire, and white raiment
that they may be clothed. So He spitted them out. But we see the spitting out,
but the secret sins that were going
on all the time, we were not conscious of it. Then when you see the Lord spit
somebody out, and they are out in the world. Now you could reflect and say, “O,
that is why he done that. That is why he behaved in that manner. That is why.
O, I remember five years ago he did so and so.”
Now, he was covering
his sin. The Bible says, “He that
covereth his sins, shall not prosper. But whosoever confesseth and forsake
them, shall have mercy.” That is the Bible. If a preacher understands the gospel
in that fashion, he does not despair. He does not fall on the side of the road.
He does not get all frustrated, and think that when that takes place the church
is breaking up.
“They
went out of us, because they were not of us.” It is God cleaning up the thing, and as we draw closer to the Token,
you will see even greater manifestations.
Yes. Judas must be made manifest. God must cleanse the church and purge the
church of sin before the Outpouring, and if He cannot cleanse the sin in people
lives, He is going to clean them out. He is going to throw them out, together
with the sin.
Now God is very
merciful, patient and longsuffering, friends. But when you see the patience of
the Lord run out, my I tell you, nothing is left but the wrath of God. Just
like Colossians 3 says, “For which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the
children to disobedience.”
When we see those things, the clock is
ticking right on time. Do not despair
at any time. That is the Lord cleaning His temple. That is the way that I
understand the gospel. That is the way that I want the ministers to understand
the gospel. That is the way that I want you children to understand the gospel.
That is the way that I want the world to understand the gospel, with all the
preachers that contend for the truth. Yes. The truth keeps marching on.
Display of Pentecostalism
Now, Pentecostalism under the message was
displayed in no uncertain terms, in a recent incident of the exposition of a
minister of the message of Malachi 4, 5&6. That is Pentecostalism to the
core. The Lord seemingly still wants to get this point of Pentecostalism over
to the congregation, and He has given us a
great example, that you should not miss those messages that was preached
on, “Pentecostalism 100 years.”
Is it not strange that
such came soon after Book 15, after you heard the Word of God, you heard of Mr.
Parham, you heard of all those Pentecostals that worked signs and wonders and
miracles, and preached the gospel in every fashion? Probably it was a little
hard for some to comprehend. But now the Lord had it displayed before your very
eyes, to nail that point down. A
dose of Judas that you would never forget. That is what happened. Now, this is
not to weaken, the church. It is to strengthen the church. It is to make them
wise to the antichrist, make them wise to the insincerity of men, the
dishonesty of men, and how well they could be sheltered under the framework of
the message.
A lot of people think
that the people in the message are fools. They are not fools. They know when
Bruce exposes somebody that they are well exposed. [Congregation says, “Amen!”] As bad as they think of us, they know
our standard, friend, because they themselves came under exposition, and they
cannot answer. It is my understanding that they rebuked him. [Congregation says, “Amen!”] They said,
“You stood up and preached against us, now you are coming to us.” I compliment
the ministers of the message; some of them are my friends. They do not pass me
anywhere as much as I expose them. I meet them, they will hug me up, they would
shake my hands, and they say, “Brother Bruce, we know you stand for the Word!”
Yes, but sometimes the Word of the Lord is too strong here and some of them
cannot take it. So, I want to highly commend the brethren out in the message
there for understanding that when we cross swords with any minister around the
message, he is wrong and we are right! [Congregation
says, “Amen!”] Yes, I also want to compliment the beloved saints from that
message church. Now, you see there must be something to try you after you hear
the Word of God. [Congregation says,
“Amen!”] And God do not announce what He is coming to try you with. There
was not a loudspeaker and a man announcing to Job all what God was going to try
him with. It just happened one day. A conference was going on between Satan and
God, and all that Job understood was that a lightning came killed all his
children, burnt up his crops, killed his donkeys, killed horses and everything,
and then the man got down in sackcloth and ashes. He was tried of God and said,
“Though He slay me yet I will trust Him.”
[Congregation says, “Amen!”] “Shall we receive good at the hand of the Lord and
not evil?” Yes, he had the correct understanding that God was going to try him somewhere down the line.
And friends, as much
as you say you believe, as long as you belong to church, as long as you had
been following the Word of God and as much faith as you confess, there is a
trial for you as an individual and you better pass that test. That trial could be your wife, it could be your
husband, and it could be your child. It could be a rebuke; it could be a
correction from the ministry, and if you are not for the Word of God and
eternal life one hundred percent, you are going to blow up.
But I am assured that
many of us have passed our test. We had many trials and we came forth pure as
gold on the other side. And I want to say that this test that the brethren have
gone through, of recent time, was a major test. And I am happy to announce,
brethren, that they have passed their test. The church as a whole stood as
heroes, yes, humbly, defiantly and they know what they believe, they know what
they stand for, and they have come this way to sit down this morning, though
they were kicked out of their church, though they were kicked out by the one
that they trusted as a minister. That never affected them.
When they heard that
they have to come up to
The only people
that went with that bastard called Parham… You remember the man called Parham,
1906, Sodomite? Well, I am dealing with the spirit of Parham. The only ones
that stood up for that man were his immediate family. It goes to show the same
spirit of Parham is upon them. So now, when such things happen in a church,
normally those that are towing the line, called make-believers, they find excuses to pull out. And the kind of
excuses they make is that the church has too much confusion, and they cannot
take that, look at what that minister done. Then if you were in the days of our
Lord, you would have left Jesus’ church when Judas fell. And when the seventy
fell you would have the same excuse.
But when you are a
child of God, and you stand for right, and you are after eternal life, friends,
sink or float you are going forward, who fall, fell. Yes. Who wants to go
forward, let us go forward. If Korah, Abiram, and Dathan want to die in the
wilderness, with a hole opening up in the ground and go down in there, we are
marching to the Promised Land. If everybody wants to murmur against Moses, we
are marching to the Promised Land. But in such a time make believers also show
up. They wait until there is something in the House of God, so they could get a
point, and they could even hang together with the wrong ones and say that they
are pressuring the brother too much. They are pressuring the sister too much,
yes, even because some say, “I see nothing with sexy pictures.” You have the
same sodomite spirit. “I do not see anything in that.” You might be a sodomite
too. O my, that is why you pick up for Parham, a false preacher.
So, I highly commend
the fortitude of the saints of God. They are worthy of all acceptation, they
are worthy of all help, they are worthy of all commendation, and we are here to
help every one of you, because you stood for the Word of God. You will continue
to lead your songs, continue to preach the Word of God and continue to do your
deacon duty.
My beloved, the truth is still marching on,
and you will still hear the Word of God. Yes, some of you might be a little
puzzled there on the tape concerning Parham. Now, but Parham was a founding
father of Pentecostalism in 1906. And he is credited throughout the world as
the founder and the father of Pentecostalism. In 1906 this man was found to be
a sodomite, sodomising young boys and he was taken to the law. And after being
taken to the law, beloved, that devil never stopped preaching. He continued to
preach and he is still carrying the name around the world, as a father of
Pentecostalism. Now that spirit is still alive. Right here today the spirit of
Parham is still alive. Thus we are preaching about a Parham spirit.
But Parham of 1906 was
a sodomite. And everybody trusted Parham as a wonderful Christian leader, a
great man to follow. A man that represents Jesus Christ, a man that sings, man,
his voice was even like Lucifer himself, but then he approached some young
boys, in 1906 and defiled them. The young boys went and told their parents, and
the parents never took it lightly. The parents went to the other ministers and
exposed Mr. Parham. O yes, those spirits do not die. Those spirits lived on for
a hundred years through so-called Pentecostalism, and those spirits are right
under the message today. It is my duty to expose the spirit of Parham and the
sons of Parham, because we are living in an age of
O yes. So, Parham was
a sodomite. A preacher, no doubt led songs, a great leader, and Mr. Parham went
around there to innocent young fellows, and were interfering with them. He had
to have some kind of excuse, for interfering with those young boys. I do not
know if it was medical, or spiritual, or what kind of excuse that Parham was
making.
O yes. Now, this is
the way that these spirits move: when a man
is in authority, and he does not detoxify his soul from such nasty spirits.
Now, when you meet sincere people, you cannot come and tell a young girl that I
want to commit fornication, or meet a married woman and say I want to commit
adultery, or meet a fellow and say I want to have sodomy with you. No, people
are sincere, they heard the Word of God, and they are coming to church because
they love the Lord. You must have a deceptive excuse.
That happened in
history. Yes. There was a man that started burning in lust for a great woman,
one time called Paulina. And he got so sick over this lust that he had, he went
to the old men of the village and asked, “How can I get this woman? She is a
married woman.” And they invented something for him. They said, “She loves the
gods, and she loves that idol.” The priest said that, “We will send a message
for her that the gods want to see you tonight, and he wants to have an affair
with you.” So, she thought that was a great privilege.
That is the story of the heathen gods. They
met one another, and they had a child, and it was a goddess. So no doubt she
desired to bring forth a goddess. And she went into that temple overnight,
praying to that idol, and that man, who was burning with lust, dressed up like
the god and came through a back door, and she freely offered herself without
resistance, to the Roman god.
These are the
deception that comes from satanic men. The devil cannot come and tell you
through a man to come and do wrong now. No, he comes with a certain excuse:
medical, suicide, spiritual. “I will make you more spiritual.” If you follow
the course of these people under the message that deceive women you will see
that they came up with excuses like that, just like that fellow under the Roman
government.
This fellow had a good
time and then went out. Now, he wanted to boast about his accomplishment. So,
he started to talk to everybody about it. “I did so and so.” And that fell on
the ear of the king, and he brought him to justice, and he brought all the
priests and killed every one of them and broke down that temple. That is good
justice, yes, for such kinds of deceivers that people trust. So, you see when
you trust people, you got to watch out. Remember me preaching that many years
ago? You could so trust a minister and a woman could come up to that minister,
pastor and say, “I would do anything
that you tell me.”
Beloved, that nasty
fellow, that never detoxified his soul, is getting a different idea. Yes, and
it is a dangerous thing when you say that to the ministry or a man. Define what
you are saying, otherwise you let that get into a carnal mind, it will take
advantage of you. This is a serious affair I am talking about. The mind and the
soul of man is so carnal, it imagines wickedness continually. God has to help a
man. When people confide in him and trust him with their very life, my friends,
God has to be holding that man; otherwise he will use his influence to defile your wife, defile your
daughters, steal your money, and do every single thing to harm you. Be careful
whom you are trusting.
To think that while
you are hearing the Word the devil put some nasty thing in your mind, and you
are willing to repent right away and you are ashamed of yourself. That is not
you now; that is the devil bringing that, just to put some nasty thing in your
mind. And you are ashamed: “Lord, forgive me. I am a nasty man. That is what I
am thinking under the Word, Lord?” Some kind of curse word come into your mind,
some kind of this or that, but that is not you, that is the devil trying to
make you feel convicted and nasty. You have to understand yourself and
understand who is who. But this is not a case like that. This is willfully.
My God, when a man becomes so obsessed with lust,
and the spirit of Parham, he is in bad shape. This is terrible and that is the
most frightening part in such affair: to justify yourself. What kind of a
spirit has surfaced is beyond me.
Now, the worst thing that could happen to
anybody is that when you sin, to retaliate. Brethren, do you know that there is
forgiveness for sodomy? Yes, there is forgiveness. Brother Paul said, “Such
were some of us. Abusers of ourselves with mankind, yes, effeminate,
adulterers, fornicators, but now we are washed, but now we are clean.
I Corinthians
I
Corinthians 6:9<Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the

that many men that now follow the Word of God, or several that follow the Word
of God, had some kind of a contact with that even as children, but God has forgiven
them, God has cleansed them, they are washed. All kind of things happened in
women’s lives but God washed them, he cleansed them.
But brethren, when
your sins are exposed and you want to fight
back, it is a bad sign. When you would use lies to cover up your
wickedness, when you would turn against the whole church, to prove yourself
innocent, after you know that you are guilty,
that is a terrible thing. Friends, Parham after
being challenged by the Word of God. He could not say that he was innocent
before Jesus, when a minister questioned him. He stood up and admitted his
guilt.
Jonah, a prophet, was
angry one time with God. Because he went and had already declared “That forty days yet and

for Saul, but God saved the man in the end. And I always want to keep that next
to my heart, because I know Him to be a merciful God. And I do not care what
condition that you are in here this morning or under my voice and what you have
done in this life, brethren, if only you will reach out to the Lord and say,
“Lord, I want to straighten up my life. I want to change this course. I came
against the ministry; I spoke against the Word. I have a bad attitude against
my pastor. I have a bad attitude against his family. I have a bad attitude
against my brothers and sisters, please forgive me.” He will forgive you. That
is the merciful God that He is.
I am telling you He is
a merciful God, and a faithful high priest, that can be touched with the
feeling of our infirmities. I do not care what you done, I do not care how bad
you feel, I do not care how bad you think, that you are a serpent seed and you
have done this and that and the next, God is standing there with an open arm,
and eyes of pity, to all that will want to repent. Though you be a sinner here
this morning, and had not known the Lord Jesus, and you come from Hinduism,
Muslim religion you come from where or from a coke den, a gambling den, even if
you are prostitute or a homosexual, there is mercy for you.
The Bible said that
such were some of us, but now we are washed; now we are clean. That is the
mercy of God. So now, do not frustrate the mercy of God. “My hand is not too short that I cannot save, and my ears are not too
heavy, that I cannot hear.” Do not look at the condition of your children
and think that they are unsaveable. Forget it. Claim them in the name of the
Lord, and you will see them come back. They come back on their backs sometime,
but they are coming. That is the mercy of God. Yes, “His thoughts are higher
than our thoughts and his ways are higher than our ways.”
This should be the balance of our thinking.
Never judge on circumstances. A demon could get upon a man and make him chase
David, from one end of the country, to the next end of the country, and his
life was given to David, and David spared his life and came out there and
repented, and then on top of that, the man went back chasing after David, to
kill David. We should do better under grace. There was a demon upon the man. So
I am not prophesying nor predicting that this minister is eventually going to
repent. I do not know.
But there is a space of repentance. And we
ought to watch that space of repentance.
If you see a man do all what he done, and he is proud, bold, defiant, will take
you to the end to destroy you, and on top of that, nothing happens to him in
the way of death, or sickness, he may be a seed of the serpent. But you see,
you cannot judge before the time. See what I mean. When such things happens in
the house of God, O, the church is shocked, they are surprised, they are
disappointed, they are embarrassed. To even hear such things, it causes the
sisters to blush, but these things happened in the Bible before.
Did you not read about
the sons of Eli, how they laid with the women, in the tabernacle? Now you heard
that, but yet it surprises us. But this is even worse, those were women, but a
sodomite is lower than a prostitute. I declared that. How a person, O my, could
stand behind the sacred desk and handle Brother Braham’s message in such a way,
testify about it and be so wicked? How? Why? are always the questions. We come
right back, the fact is that the man’s soul
was not anointed but only the flesh. Judases are displaying the very same
thing, throughout so-called Pentecost. Throughout the message today, these sons
of Parham went after money, went after women, went after popularity, and it is
getting closer to the Token now. So these sodomite spirits. Now, these things
do not overtake a man overnight,
alright. So let me give this little lesson here, brethren, from Colossians 1,
and how this thing could really happen. A man whose preaching that you could
relate to, a man’s commendation of the ministry, it always blesses you. These
things do not happen overnight.
To crown the whole
thing off, is that the man’s soul was not
detoxified. We must go through a detoxification of the soul, of all carnal
desires, yes. All appetites of the world, in order to qualify, for the new
birth, number one, God is not going to plant that seed in all that rubbish. The
Lord is smarter than that. Yes, the Lord digs up the ground; He makes sure that
He pulls out all the stones, and all the weeds and all the hindrances before He
plants the seed of Life in there. And when a man has all these things down
inside of him, the seed cannot be
planted. But look at the mercy of God, brethren, that even though the seed
was not planted in Mr. Parham, God used what He could have used. He anointed
the outside spirit; He anointed the flesh, that Parham could have done
miracles, and signs. Parham could have preached the gospel, and the anointing
was genuine.
Do not ever get away from that, the
anointing was genuine. Friends, the
anointing to sing was genuine, the anointing to dance was genuine. Do not get
your lines tangled up. Do not call it the devil now. No, no, no. You could
blaspheme yourself, by calling that the devil. It was anointed. It was the
anointing of the Spirit. Anointed to preach, anointed to do signs and wonders.
God performed the signs and wonders. Yes, He done it, but friends, the soul was
black as
Brethren, that is the condition in which you
came here from your religion. That was the condition as sincere as you were,
anointed as you were, with sincerity more than the son of Parham. Yes, with
honesty towards God, that is the condition you came in with and heard the Word.
And when you heard the Word of God, because of your sincerity, your honesty,
your election, you responded. “My sheep
hear my voice.”
So you had an anointing
on the outside. Those of you who came from the world, you were anointed of the
devil right through, body, soul and spirit. But just as I am, I come. He said,
“Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”
You shall find rest unto your souls. So, the Lord is calling you to a rest of
the soul, where you rest from the wickedness of this world, and rest in Christ
in your soul not your body. That is where the Seven Days Adventists are wrong.
Yes. In St. Luke 11, Jesus came and called you to a rest of the soul, seven
days a week. But Moses called you to a rest of the seventh day, the Sabbath,
which was a Saturday. That is what he called you to. But Jesus came and called
you to a rest of the soul.
Yes, in order to get that rest you got to detoxify the soul. The
Bible says to detoxify every member. Mortify every member. You have a problem
with your eye: mortify your eye, every member of the body. Yes, you have a
problem with smelling too much; “But that woman smells just like my girlfriend
I had in school.” Mortify your nose, mortify your lips and mortify your ears.
You like to hear too much gossip: mortify your ears. You on the telephone: hang
off the telephone. Mortify your ears. Yes. You like to put your hands in the
wrong place: mortify your hands.
Your foot wants to walk to the wrong place: mortify your feet.
But above all mortify the heart. “For out of the heart proceedeth adulteries,
fornication, and all kinds of wickedness.” Jesus said that. You got to mortify
it just like you going to take that detoxification of the body, whatever debris
from the food that you eat, from the air that you breathe, from the medicine
that you take, and it heaps up in your brain. It causes you something up there,
lack of memory, lack of this, lack of that and lack of concentration.
All kinds of things heap up in the heart. It
is going to bring heart problems. Something out here in your stomach, you start
suffering from your stomach. Everything is heaped up inside up there. Something
went wrong with the pancreas, you start getting sugar diabetes. Something goes
wrong with the gall bladder, stones to fill a toy truckload, and out here the
debris travel down, it comes down into the kidney. Yes, something down into the
liver is cutting up the liver, it is going to bring cancer, it is empting into
the bowel. Then you are getting a bowel cancer. You develop constipation and
all kinds of problems. Your system filled that you cannot enjoy your food. You
cannot eat as you are supposed to eat; you cannot sleep when you are supposed
to, because all these toxins are in your system.
Now, if the natural toxin does the body so
bad, what about all the poisons of this world? What about the lusts of this
world? What about the pride of life? What about the sins that you commit, my
brother? What about all these things? It remains in your system. It is a poison
acid of malice. What about the poison acid of jealousy? What about the poison
down inside of your soul? Brother Branham said it is a poison. Poison acid of
jealousy. Poison acid of malice, hatred, anger, and variance. All that is down
inside of us and we gather these poisons as we come through life. We come
through life with all these poisons. You would die spiritually, take you to
hell and the lake of fire
But when you hear the
gospel, friend, this is a good detoxification program; you must be able to
detoxify your soul with the blood of Jesus Christ. With repentance, with
sincerity and honesty, it takes a combination of these herbs now. They are spiritual
herbs.
Yes, and it is going
to cost you something. It is a rigid exercise. Your tongue is going to lust to
eat meat, put your tongue in its place. Your tongue lusts to eat
As the natural man suffering from tumors,
cancer, yes, taking them needles everyday, O God! Our brothers right here, we
do not even consider that, every day they have to take a couple injections if
they want to live. They are suffering from this sugar diabetes and everything
like that. O my, and God have mercy upon them, yes. It is because of all these
things the man explained, that has gone down in our systems. But the root of this is sin, friend, and if
that destroys the body, and if a cleansing of the body will give you better
health, and will send down your weight, will reduce the tumor, will fix the
liver, then brothers and sisters, make the sacrifice.
Detoxify the soul that will cause you to live
forever. I believe that is most important. Detoxify the soul of malice, of
hatred, of variance, of homosexuality, of adultery, of fornication. That is
what Brother Paul was talking about. Yes.
Colossians
3: 4-5 <When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also
appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the
earth; fornication…>
You see? Mortify your members.
Colossians
3:5 <…uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and
covetousness, which is idolatry.>
People lusting after the world, they want to
make more money, barrels of money, they want more education than they could
use, they want to be a big scholar, they want the pride of life. You need to
mortify the deeds of the body. That is what the Lord wants you to do: detoxify.
Detoxify the nastiness from your soul, make a sacrifice, lose some sleep, give
up a few meals then you are going to get detoxified. Listen to the Word of God.
Brother Bruce is not a magician that when you
are overcome with lust you say, “Brother Bruce, what to do?” You know what to
do: beat the body and bring it in subjection, keep your eyes upon Christ and
the Word of God. This prayer meeting is for those who are having problems. Did
you show up here, as a youth? Did you show up as a woman? You put everything in
place to help people to detoxify their souls but they don’t want that; they
want a magic.
And do
you know many people are sick and want a magic? They want a magic pill. Yes.
The doctor tell them to go and do such and such, take that medicine three times
a day, get up in the night and take it, and take it for two months or three
month, but they do not want to go the long way. They will change that doctor
and go to a next doctor and say, “Doc, I am sick, such and such.” Yes.
Sometimes he fools them. They are looking for a magic pill and this magic pill
is that they must take the medicine and get better right away, yes, and their
organs must be strong enough to go and commit fornication, and dance in the
parties whole night and everything like that. It does not work like that.
If you want anything in this life there is a sacrifice and people are not willing to
make that sacrifice to detoxify. They will sit down in the church with malice,
grievance against the minister, hate the preacher’s wife and hate his children.
You are sitting down there with a lot of poison, a lot of toxin in your system
and you need a detoxification right this morning, and if you don’t get
detoxified you will end up like the son of Parham. God has set an example to
show you that a man that keeps those things in him without detoxifying, he is
going to die. Romans
That is what the Bible said. So what is more important: not to detoxify the
soul? Yes. And with God there is no incurable disease. It does not have a sin
in your life that God cannot cure. He could cure every sin in your life. He
died on
Let the musicians come. Let us make a joyful
noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before
His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath
made us, and not we ourselves; we are the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His
gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him,
and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy endureth forever.
My Lord! Oh, the blood of Jesus: what a detoxification
program that was brought up by the herbalist, Jesus. My God! You never heard of
men curing men with their own blood. Yes. He said, “Except ye eat the flesh of
the Son of man, and drink his blood, you are going to die; you have no life in
you. That’s the best detoxification program that I know about: it is the blood
of Jesus Christ and His blood is in the Word of God.
