<But on the morrow all the congregation of the
children of

it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against
Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold,
the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
And
Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
And
the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Get
you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment.
And they fell upon their faces.
And
Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar,
and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement
for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun. (It was a plague of death.)
And
Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and,
behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made
an atonement for the people.
And
he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
Now
they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside
them that died about the matter of Korah.
And
Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
and the plague was stayed.>

We will preach another message again, tonight:
“Pentecostalism Under The Message.”
And I will take the statement of the people, “Ye Have Killed the People of the Lord.”
Brethren, Moses recognized these as wicked
men. God recognized them as wicked men and fit to die. And the judgements came
to suit that discernment of Moses and the Lord. And these people on the morrow,
the very next day after seeing the earth opened up and swallowed these wicked
men they made this statement, “Ye have killed the people of the Lord.” This
statement has a lot behind it. In other words, here is the pastor taking the
Word of God and saying, “This man is an evil man. I cast him out of the
church.” And people hold a different opinion: “He is a son of God. He is a
brother.” You will face the plague of
death. When God speaks it is final. When a servant speaks for God it is
final, and when you have a different opinion you will die by the plague of
death. It was proven right here in this message. “You have killed the people of
the Lord, Moses.” They were not blaming God. Moses and Aaron was their problem.
“You have killed the people of God.” God said they were satanic, they were
heretics, and they were devils and wicked men that were fit to die. On the
contrary, these people turned right around and said, “You have killed the
people of the Lord.” We are going to analyze that statement in a while.
It is not what somebody says so much.
Brethren, it is the meaning behind
what they are saying. And there are a lot of reasons behind this statement that
made God angry, and sent a plague of death amongst them and killed fourteen
thousand and seven hundred. And that was in a matter of seconds. And do you
know what the Lord did? If you don’t understand, that which had begun was going
to kill all
This subject of Pentecostalism under the
message is for the edification of the
whole world and all message believers. They need this more than ever. And
this book of Exodus is so important that the prophet said, that he read that
book every week, the entire thing or some of the chapters, even because it
reveals the present position of the church in the endtime. He knew that and he
said that in so many words. The prophet read that, because he wanted to know
where the church was at. And just before his going, the prophet of God said
that the church is presently standing at Kadesh Barnea, which means the
judgement seat of God and they are denying the promise of God.

a beautiful type of the Church today, that how that the same procedure, God
just repeating history in another way. How the Church was called out, now in
their journey, and could've went on over into the promise, but has refused.
Now, a beautiful picture is before us. (This Great Warrior Joshua 55-0119).
Now, we will reach there sometime, talking
about Kadesh Barnea. The prophet of God preached a series of messages on that
subject: ‘Israel At The Red Sea #1&
2, The Children Of Israel: Children In The Wilderness, At Kadesh-Barnea: Israel
At Kadesh Barnea, Israel And The Church #4: Israel Before The Brazen Serpent
Israel At Kadesh Barnea’. And he preached that series of messages to show
the present position of the church. And he always emphasized that there is a
mixed multitude following the message.
Present position of the church
I am declaring that the present position of
the church today is not the same position as it was in the days of Brother
Branham. The church journeyed on and there have got to be the servants of God
here today, to point out the present position of the church. So, on the last
message Brother Branham emphasized that there are false anointed ones that will
be loosed, shortly after the days of his message.

day? It should follow immediately after this great message that this brother
will speak, that will actually come, be anointed in the spirit of Elijah,

And he did not get to see very much of it
although it was coming in. He said in
The spirit
of Korah is a spirit of ambition. It is a spirit of pride. It is a spirit
of jealousy. It is a spirit of show off. It is a spirit of hatred. It is a
spirit that is looking back into
Right now, I have on my desk a book that was
written, seemingly it is a defense against E.O.D.H. by Dr. Frank, but he is not
coming out very plainly. I am going to answer that, possibly from the pulpit.
So, he said that people ask questions and God answers by His Word. It is a book
with about fifty pages. My title of that book is, “People ask questions and Dr.
Frank answers by his theology. Dr. Frank is answering by his theology. There
are other heretics that will come up. Korah, Abiram and Dathan must be
somewhere around. They must be somewhere around. And their names will have to
be called here, for a second round of beating, because they are deceiving the
people under Moses. And our job is to tell
the truth.
So, all in all, brethren, the church has
really come up to the place of Kadesh Barnea, and at Kadesh Barnea they are
denying the promise of the Token. See how plain that is? They are denying the
promise of the Token. And, another vital thing is that Moses died and left the
people in the wilderness. And our Moses is dead and he left the people that
follow this message in the wilderness, going around for the past forty years.
And after that forty years God raised up a new generation that went over
Now, E.O.D.H. and all our ministers came
under heavy criticism, like Moses,
like Brother Branham. They came under criticism for killing the people of the
Lord around the world. So, they wrote letters saying that, you are killing the
influence of these great men, like Dr. Frank and the different big names. And a
lot of Dr. Coleman’s people wrote to me and they said that, you are killing the
influence of the people of God.” In other words, “You have killed the people of
the Lord.” I said, “I am not killing the people of the Lord neither their
influence. I am exposing heretics and I am exposing heresies. And anything that
is contrary to the message of the hour is a heretic.” They cannot understand
that.
One fellow said, “But you have called me a donkey.”
I said, “Well, if you bray like a donkey I have to call you a donkey.” He said,
“But you called me a parrot.” I said, “When you quote without understanding,
you are a parrot.” And I don’t take back my words. I judge nothing before its
time.
So, they think that I am killing their
influence. No. According to their doctrine nobody should speak against another
preacher that is preaching the message. Then, I asked them, “Where are the
false anointed ones?” I am asking in this message: where is Korah, Abiram and Dathan? And are we not supposed to speak
against Korah, Abiram and Dathan? [Congregation
says, “Amen!”] So then, if that doctrine is correct then, we have no false anointed ones, we have no
Korah in the message, we have no Abiram and Dathan, but I am positive that we
have Korah and his company right today, following the message.
No revelation of the antichrist
The only way that people could speak like
that, after reading these books and listening to these messages: is that they have
no revelation of the antichrist, and they missed the opening of the seals. And
that was what confused Eve. She did not have a revelation of the antichrist.
And when the antichrist came in as a friendly fellow, my! She could not believe
that was the antichrist, could not believe that was Satan. She had no
revelation. But this endtime Bride will have revelation and she will recognize
the devil. So now, people who talk like that have no revelation of who is who.
They do not know who is who.
One time this congregation was like that. If
you notice that the Hindu people, they cannot stand anybody criticizing any
other religion. What happened to them? They don’t know the devil. They just
don’t know the devil. And there are certain people that call themselves
Christians from organizations, go mad when they hear you speaking about other
religions. And they say, “You are criticizing. You are criticizing.” Even,
because they don’t know the devil. So now, people are confused even because
they do not have a revelation on the devil. This is what the seals was opened
for. Now, people don’t know wrong and right because they lack revelation. So,
it proves that these people don’t understand the opening of the seals.
Now, is not that a shame that people who sat
and heard the seals of God rehearsed in
I have seen people come in here as strangers
do all kinds of things, and have different kinds of expressions trying to
figure out if that man standing on the pulpit is fooling them or not. I look at
them in many places over the years. And I have seen people would fold their
arms. I have seen people put their ears like that (turned to one side). I knew
they were trying to figure out if this man is saying the truth. You do not find
out the devil like that, boy. You are already deceived. If God does not show
you the devil, you will never see him. You cannot find out if this is truth by
those kinds of actions. Some people would not even make a whisper; they would
not even say, ‘Amen’, they would not even smile. They are as a wooden judge. At
the end of it all they conclude that it is a cult. When everybody had their
eyes closed, I seen people over the years, have their eyes wide open, and watched
everything to see if they could catch a "jumbie"(a demon)
somewhere.
One unsaved man walked in here to investigate
what his wife is following. He stood outside there and folded his arms.
Everywhere I walked; he just turned around and was watching me. Another brother
went out with a car, and he turned around and was going around. My brother, you
don’t catch spirits like that. You "chupid". If you don’t understand
"chupid" there in the States, it means you are stupid. Yes. The
Chinese man says, “You chupid, man.” You are a stupid man.” And that is what
some people are. They act so foolishly.
Let me tell you how to find truth. Surrender your will to God; surrender your
brains to God. And when you come to a difficult position in your Christian life
or the assembly, you just say in your heart, “Lord, if that man is speaking the
truth bear witness, bear witness to me.” And there is something that is going
to come to your heart and let you know, “That man is speaking the truth.” There
are many examples like that in the scriptures
What theology that woman at the well studied?
He spoke a little bit and she said, “Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. I
know that when Messiah comes He shall tell us all things.” He said, “I that
speak unto thee, I am He.” (John 4:19,
25-26). It was revealed to her. Isn’t that wonderful for a woman who had
five husbands and took away another woman’s husband? And she just trusted and
the Lord revealed that thing to that woman. She was so convinced; she did not
go to check it out in a psychology school. She ran across there and said,
“Come, see a man that has told me all my life. Isn’t He the Messiah? They came
out and said, “We now believe because we heard for our own selves.” And they
were Samaritans that were not supposed to hear the gospel. (John 4:28-29, 42).
What about that brother that was praying
under the fig tree? He was a skeptic.
He said, “Can any good thing come out of

It is not a psychological affair with a big
brain. I have seen people like that, sit for years, and they analyzed, and they
analyzed, and analyzed, and they watched here, and investigated out there, and
at the end do you know the result? “Cult! Cult!” You were not born for this
Just like Judas was not born for this. He was a skeptic from the beginning.
Stole the money, put it in his pocket. Yes. A skeptic from the beginning. No
miracle convinced him. No teachings convinced the man.
Confusion of mind in time of crisis
Now, a man without divine revelation, he will
be confused in a time of crisis, yes, and he does not know the antichrist. Now,
were it not for the opening of the seals we would be all confused. And we have
to pity people like that; that though they heard the seals over and over, and
all the preaching of the church ages, and as much preaching as we preach, what
happened to those people is that they reached to a certain point, they only
yielded their souls that much, depending upon their intellect. And then, do you
know what happened? They never did get the Word down into their souls. If the
Word is not there, it is not revealed. And if you do not have the Word down in
your soul, you cannot discern. You say, “Discern?” Don’t you know that everyone
of you must have discernment? You say, “How could I discern. I do not have the
gift of discernment.” You do not need the gift of discernment. There is
something greater that God gave to you. A gift of discernment is secondary.
That is a common gift: discernment of spirits. But when you have the greater
thing to discern spirits, it’s the Word down in your soul. (Hebrew
Hebrews
If you are sincere before God, you know who
is standing here. You know friends, if I speak by inspiration or I speak by
mental power. There are two ways that a man can speak; by mental power, or by
inspiration. And if you are born for this, when a man speak under inspiration,
it blends together with your soul. “My
sheep hear my voice, and a stranger they would not follow.” Yes. The voice
comes through man. Every little preacher here is the voice of God, if they are
speaking the Word of God. If they were not speaking the Word of God, I will
tell them to sit down. But they are speaking the Word of God, and if you are a
sheep, you have got to respond.
You just cannot sit
down there with suspicion when something arise in the church or you pull in
like a turtle in a shell, after watching around. “I got to watch this thing.”
Yes. You already watched for three years, four years, ten years, and you found
no fault, and you testified about it. What are you watching now? Why did you
start watching for now? Why do you have it on a test now? I thought you tested
that five years ago, or ten years ago. What are you testing now? It goes to
show that you have no revelation, and I have something to test you, and you
have nothing to test me.
I
Corinthians
You cannot figure me
with your big brain. You do not have to go to school to have to have a big
brain. No. You just have to be foolish. The wisdom of this world is foolishness
before God. You just have to be foolish, and you have to be proud, and think
that you know something too. So you become foolish. The Bible says, “And their
foolish hearts were darkened.”
Sometime the seeds of
the heretic and heresies are planted so
deep, that you cannot recognize the truth, and you cannot recognize the spirit.
Brethren, a man may come in here, and not understand a word, but the Holy Ghost
bears witness, that this is God. That alone should convince that man. But if
you do not have the Word of God down in your heart, then you are confused when
the antichrist moves. Yes and when
the antichrist moves it is edification to those who have the Word, because it
confirms the Word. It helps them to understand and say, “That is what the man
said last year. That is what he said at the seals. That is what he said five years
ago. That is what he always talks about, and I have a chance to see it moving
in front of my eyes.” So you get an experience.
People without divine
revelation, they pull together into a corner and say, “I am standing on neutral
grounds.” That is not the message. Standing on neutral grounds is not the
message. The prophet of God said, ‘Taking sides with Jesus,” and Jesus is the
Word, and if you do not know the Word, you are on neutral grounds, because you
do not know if this is the Word, or if that is the Word. So you are on neutral
grounds. You are a neutral hypocrite!
That is what you are. A neutral hypocrite, because all the time you were
standing for Jesus and you were standing for the Word. When trouble comes up in
the church; “I am on neutral grounds, on this matter. I have to make an
investigation.” You dead hypocrite, you. Yes. Hypocrite! You do not have
anything in your guts: only a bag of wind. You do not have anything down in
there. If you had something down in your soul, you will know when a man speaks
by inspiration, or not. Yes. Inspiration is a different thing. You do not have
to have college education. You do not have to be in the message for ten, twenty
years friend. No! If you are ordained of God, from the time you hear that man
speak, you fall in love with that Word that he is bringing. Yes.
Inspiration, not the man
I was explaining to Brother Peter Baptiste
last night. He asked me a personal question. He said, “Brother Bruce, when you go
to the pulpit, does God talk to you?” So I blushed for a moment and said, “Well
Brother Peter, I come under inspiration.” He wanted to find out how that works.
I said, “I come under inspiration.” If I speak about Moses, I am transported,
way back into the story. Sometime I do not see the people until I want to see
them. (That is why a "sleeping spirit" will take me out of that frame
of mind, because it is a spirit.) If I am talking about Goliath, I am
transported, and then I forget my notes, and I am only describing under
inspiration what I am seeing in the spirit.
In so doing I bring my congregation on the
scene. The people of God, the children of God recognize that inspiration. They love to be in that inspiration,
and they love to hear the words coming through inspiration. I said, “They are not following a man or a
personality. If I did not have the Word, nobody will know me. Yes. They would
not even know my name.” But some cannot divide the inspiration from the man.”
So in their carnal minds some think they talk about Bruce too much. That was
Korah’s idea, and Abiram’s and Dathan’s. But Moses was speaking under
inspiration, and the people loved that inspiration.
It is not the man that
they love. It is not his personality. If you are a sheep of God, you blend with
that inspiration. He turned around and said, “Brother Bruce, I could hear your
voice every day. I could hear it for the whole day; I do not get tired. Why is
that?” I said, “Well, you fell in love with the inspiration. It is not the man.” My voice might be
croaky, but my voice is nothing, but you fell in love with the inspiration of
the Word, and you recognize the inspiration, but carnal minds cannot understand
that. They will fuss, and say that they talk about him too much and it is a
dangerous thing to have so much confidence in a man, and that is what happened
to the people that followed Jim Jones. Carnal minds; they do not understand.
When you testify; it
does not go down well with everybody. When you say, “Bruce,” that does not go
down well with everybody, because we have three kinds of believers. There is a
carnal bunch that still have that Pentecostal spirit. They say, “Give Jesus the
glory. Give Jesus the glory.” But they want the glory? Now, that is
Pentecostalism. This is that same kind of jealousy and hatred that accused
Moses and W. M. Branham for talking the glory for themselves. That
Pentecostalism has been brought over under the message today. So it is a bunch
of carnal minds and men with filthy
hands, trying to handle the Word of God.
Now, there is a
difference of handling the Word of God, mentally, from quotations, and from
reading the Bible, and there is a difference of handling the Word of God under
inspiration. The Prophet of God said, “One man will take the Word of God, and
make that Word of God live, and a next man will take that Word, and it does not
mean very much. Yes. He said, “It is not inspired to him.”

W.M.B.: 141 Now, have you ever seen this? You see in our
churches today, even in the groups where we have separated yourself and made
organizations; and we seen all of this. And you seen a man pick up a certain
Scripture, and, brother, that man can take that Scripture and make it live new,
make it live just exactly what it promised here in the Bible. And the next man
will see him do it, and he'll come around and try to do it and fail. Now, I
hope you're reading now. He'll fail. Why? The Scripture is not inspired to him.
He's only trying to impersonate. He's trying to act like something... Well,
maybe he was sent by man. (Hearing Recognizing Acting On The Word Of God
60-0221).
And I thank God for this inspiration. When I
am finished here, brethren, I do not knock my chest, and say that I am a great
preacher or I am a great man, and I am eloquent. No. That is not in my mind at
all. Just like you thank God for the
message. I go out and I thank God for the inspiration. Yes, and it only takes
God to bring me into that inspiration, and as I was telling the brother that it
takes waiting on the Lord to break into that channel under inspiration, and if
the Lord does not come and help me here, I cannot be a blessing to you in my
preaching, and that is why I wait on the Lord until the right moment. At the
right moment, I slip into that inspiration, and then there is no end to the
message.
Then, this policeman here seated, he said,
“How do you know when to leave your chair and come to the pulpit?” (I did not
know he was watching that.) Just when I think that you are going to move now,
that is the time you move. How come?” I said, “Well, I feel the leading of the
Spirit to get up, and move.” He is in tune with the same Spirit. I just do not
run up there in myself. I wait on the Lord, and I get a little nod from the
Lord, the inspiration starts from that chair, and then I know it is time to
move, and the Lord gives me that inspiration.
Now, brethren that
does not come by practice. Another man will try that, and he might be
successful. But it does not come by practice. No. It comes by being in contact
with the Lord, and I humbly thank God for that, so you could be beneficiaries
of that, yes, and anywhere I went for the past forty years and people I
preached unto, I depended upon that inspiration. Although I do not boast about
this and boast about other experiences, that is the nature of my preaching. If
I go to the Catholic Church, the Baptist, (I preached in some terrible places,)
and I could find that inspiration, then I know that every spirit will be
subdued. I get into that inspiration, and then even unbelievers will confess,
“That was the greatest meeting, that was the greatest message. We heard a lot
of bad things about you; we never heard it like that.” It is not me. It is the Lord. But people do not understand that.
Now, if you come in
contact with that inspiration, one week, one month, three months, six months,
nine months, one year, two years, three years, four years, five years, what do
you have to check out about me, after God bore witness in your heart that it is
His Word. That is His Man. Something is wrong with your understanding.
Something is wrong with your Revelation. When something arise in the House of
God that is not the time to check. No. When you came here on that the first
day: the first three months you were checking. Six months, the first year, the
first two years, you were proving all things, and then you were satisfied in
your heart, and said, “That is it. Now, I could testify about it.” You came up
and testified, but when something starts you say, “I have to check it out.”
Something is wrong in your soul.
Nothing is wrong with me. Something is wrong in your soul. The Word is not
where it is supposed to be.
The first day that
this former Muslim fellow, walked in here, boy, I tell you, the Word was so
powerful, he did not know how to express himself. He met me outside and said,
“Put it here, man. (Shook my hand.) You talk like God. You talk like God.” He
had been coming for about fifteen or sixteen years to hear God talk. I am not
God. The man heard the voice. All right, now if you hear God, you are coming back
to hear God again, and if you do not
hear God in me, you will hear him in Brother Chandler, Brother Barrow, Brother
Sookdeo, and the other ministers. You will hear God talking. Yes sir! So the
poor brother did not know how to express himself when he heard the Word of God,
but what he said was right, yes, the ministers are speaking for God.
Word, message not mixed with faith
Numbers 16:41-50 is a clear picture of the things that I just
said. A picture of what I just said there that destroyed fourteen thousand,
seven hundred people by a plague of death is what I am going to place in this
little story, of people that followed the message without divine revelation,
and others with revelation. That is the picture under Moses, and the Bible
clearly states over in the Book of Hebrews, that the message was not mixed with
faith to them. It was not mixed with revelation. They were mental believers.
They were followers as the people today follow the message of the hour, but the
Word is not mixed with revelation.
Hebrews
4:2 <For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word
preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

They
never had a revelation of
Moses. They never had a revelation of who William Branham really was. They
never had a revelation of the Promised Land.
Now, this here is a
terrible thing, and where there is no open vision the people perish, and though
they were following a prophet with a message of the hour, a pillar of fire and
a cloud, God hiding in a tabernacle behind skin. Moses used to go in there and
talk to Him. The Ark of the Covenant was in there. When the sun got hot, a big
cloud of glory came and sheltered
They followed him by
the millions, for thirty long years, and when he started to bring the Word,
they followed Korah Abiram, and Dathan. Yes. You had one bunch of Korah,
Abiram, and Dathan. Oral Roberts, Billy Graham, T.L. Osborne, Tommy Hicks, and
all those other evangelists, they thought that they were equal with William
Branham. “Hath God only spoken by William Branham? He has also spoken by us.”
Now Brother Branham knew that, Korah
spirit was amongst the people, and it was causing trouble.
A MIXED MULTITUDE FOLLOWED: KORAH. IT
CAUSED TROUBLE

Well, when the supernatural is done, man gets all excited. And usually there's
a mixed multitude goes out. When Moses did the supernatural down in
Korah and company under the message
Now, if we are to analyze this statement. Let
me briefly bring your attention to Numbers 16, Korah and his company. Brethren,
here is a man with a pillar of fire, a cloud, opened the
So men arose with
pride and ambition, in the congregation, and first of all they started with a
tale. Satan moves with gossips and
interpretations, and different ideas, yes, and Korah was the main figure in
this matter. Korah got jealous. Maybe he contacted Miriam, and he started
discussing this issue with his wife, and said, “Do you think that Moses take
too much upon himself. I am a minister just like him. It is true that God used him
to open the Red Sea, and he brought us to the mountain, but I think that we sat
and learnt our lesson real well, for all this period of time, and we should
have had some kind of credibility in the eyes of the people. But Moses of late,
he started to showoff.” And that spirit got on the wife and on his teenage
children. Yes, and then it went over to a neighbour called Abiram, and then
Abiram went across there, and told another – Mr. Dathan. Yes, and three of them agreed
together, because three of them had jealous and ambitious spirits.
So they had a little
house meeting together in secrecy. When you have things going on in the House
of God, there will be little discussions in the tents, behind the wall. They
were discussing the problem in the church. “You know, Moses could be wrong in
this matter? Yes. Moses could be deadly wrong in this matter. I respect Moses.
I am not saying anything evil against Moses. What do you think of it, Abiram? I
was thinking just the same. It must be God. Look Dathan even confirmed this.
What do you think, Sister Dathan?” “Hallelujah, brother; I feel the Holy
Ghost.” (Old Pentecostal.) Listen, of late Moses started showing off, and all
this time our husbands are in the church, and they remain in one position. I
have seen people come in later than they and were elevated. Moses would not
speak a kind word to elevate the wives of Korah, Abiram and Dathan.” Maybe you
have a Jezebel spirit, and Moses knew that.
Friend, these people
had their discussion behind the tent, in secrecy, although they knew that Moses
was a man of God. But these kinds of talk go on, and you only have to find one
heretic. You got to find one fellow that is jealous and hateful. Notice how
that is termed in the Bible. The gainsaying of Korah. He influenced all those people, and then they came up to Moses.
They got brave enough to look Moses straight in his eyes. One time they could
not even look upon his face. But a spirit of pride, and self, and jealousy,
emboldened them. They wanted that position. Now watch this technical attack.
They are not coming and saying that they are jealous of Aaron, and they want
the high priesthood. That was the contention. Their contention was that they
wanted the priesthood from Aaron.
So they started to
talk about that subject, saying, “Do you imagine that Moses is the prophet, and
his brother has the second highest position in the church: high priest; and I
am better qualified than him?” The gainsaying of Korah was jealousy, and we had
the gainsaying of Korah today, amongst the Pentecostal people, that became
jealous of William Branham, and how God was using him, and they thought that
they wanted to be elevated in the same way. All of them perished in the
gainsaying of Korah. That spirit is
right now under the message where all those big men are trying to be equal
to Brother Branham, to interpret the Bible.
God never called an
intellectual to interpret the Bible. No sir! When God sends a prophet; he is a
divine interpreter of the Word of God. He is right and everybody is wrong. Moses
was right in his day, and everybody was wrong. That is our understanding of
this message. When God sends a messenger for the age, he alone is right, and
everybody else is wrong. Humble your heart or you are going to hell. That is
it. That is the way of the gospel, and this is proven out here. O my, my, my! I
tell you.
So, this spirit moved
upon these great men, as it is moving today around the message. Everybody have
pride in their heart, and they think that they can interpret the message how
they want. Yes. Change the clothing. Change the standards of holiness, and
change everything in the church. So what happened? That spirit moved to a
little group out here, and it moved to another group, until it spread right
through the congregation, almost two million people, with the exception of a
few. I am talking about right under a prophet. I am trying to show you an
antichrist spirit when it moves, how
dangerous that is.
You may think that,
that cannot deceive anybody. That is
good for you; but you cannot think for the next fellow, because he does not
have the Word in his soul. He has it up in his head, and he did not come under
inspiration, and what would not move you, will move somebody else, because they
are carnal in their nature. You do not know the end of that person when they
start fooling with that. When they thought that the congregation was strong
enough, they decided that it was about time to put down Moses.
Yes. Like Parham is
now singing, he said, “It is time to put down Bruce.” Nobody could put me down.
God raised me up, and many a man tried to put me down, and they were not able.
What God bless no man curse, and what you are now trying, many Korahs, and
Abirams, and Dathans, tried that before, and failed. They are lost. Yes. I do
not fear them. You say, “You do not get kind
of scared?” Absolutely not! I know where I am standing. I know in whom I
believe. “So what about night rest, Brother Bruce? You must be up for a few
days?” Absolutely not. I sleep better. You trust God. Have faith in God.
Now brethren, to cut a
long story short, is that these men attacked Moses in the most disrespectful
manner, because of pride, because of unbelief, because they did not believe
that the Token was coming. They did not believe that they were going to a land of
milk and honey. No. They lost faith. When they lost that faith, they got bold
enough, so they concluded that: “This Moses led us astray, and we finally know
that it is a cult.” Was Korah ordained to judge
a prophet? No man is ordained to judge the Word that I preach. “He that is
spiritual judgeth all things, but he is judged of no man.” So, they judged
Moses as a "show-off," taking too much upon himself. When they
approached Moses, and showed that form of disrespect; Moses challenged them. He
said, “Get your censers and come in the morning. God is going to show who He
has chosen, and who He did not chose. Come with your censers. Bring up your
revelation of your thunders. Bring your revelation that you are getting. Come
with your censers. Two hundred and fifty princes, come!” And Moses gave them a
challenge. I am trying to paint a picture.
Now, this is God
trying to convince the people of who is right, and who is wrong. All right. Get
that point there. This is God trying to convince the people by his servant, who
is wrong and who is right, to save their souls. So the Lord revealed to Moses.
He said, “Tell them that if these men die the common death of men, then God
never called me. I was never in contact with God. But if God, do a new thing
and open up the earth, a big crack, to take down all those people, (It is
estimated, Brother Neaves said that the crack had to be about one mile wide.)
and close back the earth, then you will know that God has sent me, and all
these works that I have done, I have done it by the Lord.”
Now, that was God
trying to reveal to the people who is right, and who is wrong. Alright friends.
So Moses went there and God told him to tell them to separate from the tents of these wicked men. They are evil, they
are heretics, they are snakes in the grass, they are blasphemers, they have
come to the end of the road, and they are going to die in a new way that I have
never killed anybody from
Moses did that by the
will of God to convince them that those heretics were wrong. That is what I am
doing through E.O.D.H., and through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost to prove
that these men are wrong. So Moses at the command of the Lord; (these people
standing right there,) he said, “Separate
yourselves from the tents of these wicked men, friends, and from the time he was finished speaking, the earth
opened up, and swallowed up those poor little children at the tent door, their
wives, and all that followed Korah, Abiram, and Dathan. Is not that a sad
thing? You say, “Why should the Lord allow the wives and the children to
perish?” Brethren, they knew about this plot in their tents. Abiram brought
over Korah to have a little meeting with his family to convince them, and
everybody was hush, hush. “Do not go and tell Moses about this meeting. No.
This is our business.” And they all got that spirit upon them, and the wives
never reported that to Moses, neither the teenagers, and all of them that were
of age, got that spirit upon them, and were working against Moses, so they had
to die also.
The prophet of God
said that if you know anything that is going on in the House of God that will
disturb the
And when you think
that you could toss up with the serpent like Eve, and continue to listen to
that without falling, the devil will jump on you. I was young and now I am old.
Yes, and I have never seen it fail. You cannot listen to unbelief but until
that unbelief conquers you. Listen to
nobody that speaks unbelief. You judge for yourself. You judge for your own
self by the spirit of God, the inspiration of the Lord, believe your Shepherd
and he will lead you through.
Seeds of Pentecostalism under the
message
Watch at a treacherous thing now. This applies
to the message. This applies to the people that follow the message. This
applies to every hypocrite that say that the Word is right, but then when
trouble comes up, you know, they start moving with a reverse gear. This applies
here. Moses stood up; he said, “Come out of the tents of these men, if you do
not want to perish. Brethren, they left the tents of these heretics. But hear
the detrimental thing now.
They came out of those
tents with the seed of Korah. The seed of Abiram. The seed of Dathan. They came
out of there in support of Korah’s ministry. They believed the gainsaying of
Korah. Although they came out from the tents of organizations, and Pentecostal,
and Baptist, and Colemanism, and Doctor Frankism, and all the other isms; they came out with those seeds, and they
were in another tent. And that is what happened to the people that follow this
message. They came from organization, but brought their organizational spirit,
their organizational birth, their organizational habits, their thinking, their
philosophy, their heresies, and they are in another tent.
Think of that for a
moment. “How do you know that?” The Bible reveals it. They came over with the
seeds that Korah planted, and although they had seen the earth open up, and
swallowed these heretics and these people, they still believed that those were
their brothers. They were still brothering Korah. They were still brothering
Abiram. “How do you know that? Analyze this statement.” Moses you have killed
the people of the Lord. God said that they were the devil’s people. Moses said
that they were wicked men, they were devils, and they were heretics; do not
follow them. I will prove that to you. The earth will open up and swallow them.
You still have a
conception that they are the people of God. Turn around and blame Bruce too.

1:11-13 <Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran
greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of
Core.
These
are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding
themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds;
trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the
roots;
Raging
waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is
reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.>
Do you think those
were some kind of "chicken-feed" preachers? When they started
condemning those heretics; they called them Cain, they called them Balaam, they
called them Korah, and the Bible says that, that spirit of Korah will rise in
the last day. If we have a Korah here, then we got to have a Moses with a
pillar of fire in the end-time. The same spirit, and there will be people that
will perish by the gainsaying of Korah. Yes. That is the gainsaying of Korah,
and these are spots in your feast.
When people come out
from the tents of these heretics, and they bring over the gainsaying of Korah,
they are spots in your feast. While you feast with the Word of God, they have a
different opinion, and a different idea. Yes. While you try to straighten the
Abiram said, “You know
I have to pull my children away from that, because truly I never noticed that
dangerous thing. When you put confidence in a man like that, he could really
mislead you.” It depends on which man you put your confidence in, and I will
tell you about the underlining deceit
in that. Do you know why Korah was preaching down Moses as the wrong man to
have confidence in? Think of what I am saying. Do you know why he was bringing
that up, about how dangerous it is for you to put all your confidence in a man?
In other words, do not let go so much. Let go a little and watch things. It is
true we are there five years, but watch things.
There is an
underlining factor and that is the devil wanted that kind of attention from the
people. He was jealous of Moses, jealous of the testimonies. Yes. So now his
jealousy was driving him to talk like that, it is jealousy that was causing him
to say, “Listen, you cannot preach without saying Branham. You must say Gan
sometimes.” I will say Moses till I die, but Gan is a devil. An incarnated
devil and he is a Korah from the pit of Hell. You do not like that kind of
language. That is the way I talk, because it is the truth. Truth will never
fail. That is why that devil was talking like that. That is why those people
were talking like that, and they were preaching a doctrine as to deliver the
people from idolatry. Today they say, “They worship Branham, they worship
Branham.” There are people who preach this message that would not call Brother
Branham’s name, because of the reproach. I call his name every time it is
convenient.
Now, it was a jealous spirit that was at work. There
are men who would not put Brother Branham’s name in their books. No friends.
They just put some quotations there and leave. They put their names and
highlight their names. That is your Korah spirit, Abiram spirit, and Dathan
spirit. So now, these people came over into another tent, but with their
skepticism of Korah and his company. They came over bewitched, and they sat
under Moses. Bewitched by Korah. They came over there, and their minds were
fully tuned up. “Do not put too much confidence in a man. He might make you
drink poison one of these days like Jim Jones.” These snakes in the grass
wanted that confidence from the people. They were playing interpreters of the
message. So they had to come against Branham. They had to come against Moses,
because they were interpreters too, and they wanted equal recognition. That is what goes on. That is what is happening
in so-called Pentecost. That is what is happening with Korah and his company
under the message today. Yes. So, these people came over into another tent, but
they were holding the secret for Korah and his company.
They were still
jealous for Korah. They were still jealous for Abiram. They still believed that
there were some wonderful things that Korah and his company were speaking. Yes.
“It is not Moses alone. God never spoke to Moses alone. I have seen Korah did
some signs, and wonders, and Abiram is a wonderful man. You know what it is,
brethren? They have killed the people of the Lord. That Bruce is killing a
righteous man. He is such a nice man.” You have a Korah spirit. That is why you
are a spy.
Like on one
"seals" meeting, three men walked in here, so I called them to the
back. I said, “What do you want here? I know you to be my enemy. You came and
broke up my church. What are you doing here?” They said, “We just came to
fellowship.” I said, “How can you come here to fellowship when you believe that
I am a false prophet, and you believe that I have a cult.” They said, “We never
say that.” I said, “But you believe that.” I said, “I have no need of a spy
here. Leave!” They said, “We never came to spy.” I said, “You came to
fellowship here, and believe that I am a false prophet? Leave immediately; we
do not have the need of a spy.” They never returned.
So if you are taping
here, to carry it out for the enemy, carry this portion too. You are a dead
hypocrite, and a spy. Your soul is black as
DEFAMATION of character
John the Baptist walked up right there to King
Herod. He said, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” O, they
sued him for defamation of character.
Oh! They threw him in jail. Yes. They said, “You said that.” Yes, I said that,
and I am still saying before the court of law. It is not lawful for you to have
your brother’s wife. Thus saith the Lord. They said, “Lie down there for us to
chop off your head.” Amen! The quicker the better. They took off his head, and
he is in glory tonight.
That is the way God
trains His servants. If you are a coward, God cannot use you. Yes. I will be
disappointed in John the Baptist if he said, “Well I did not mean it that way,
and I did not say it that way. Do you have a witness to prove that I said so?”
He said, “You do not need any witnesses. I said that, and that is the Word of
God. You want to chop my head off. God even told me that I will have to die
that way. So I am not afraid of anything.”
One Christian came up
before an emperor, and he was so willing to die as a martyr. They asked him,
“What is your name, sir?” He said, “I am a Christian.” “Where do you
live?” “I am a Christian.” “To confess
that you are a Christian was sure death. Yes, and who are with you, and where
do you have your church?” “I am a Christian.” They asked him many questions. He
said, “I am a Christian. I am ready to die for the Lord.” Yes sir. They took
him out, and took off his head or put him to the stake, but, he is in glory. “I
am a Christian.” That confession was death. In other words, he was telling
them, “I am ready to die as a martyr. I am a Christian.”
Now, when trouble
arises in the church, friends, you have these kinds of spirits. People take
sides and they come over into another tent. They did not realize that their
mouths will confess what is in their hearts. Yes. So they came over with their
seeds there that “Moses is showing off. Moses is a man that is going off in a
cult. Moses is just trying to show-off. He took advantage of Korah, and that company.
Look at the people of God; they do not even have a grave. The earth closed up
and swallowed them.” Moses did not have any power to do it. God did it. They
blinded their eyes to all what God had done to save them, and they still chose
to believe that Moses brainwashed
them and Moses killed the people of the Lord. Moses killed the people of the
Lord? Let us see how right they were.
“Ye have killed the
people of the Lord.” They made up another big band and went talking to Moses.
The Lord said, “Step aside Moses, let Me kill them in a moment. This bunch of
hypocrites and unbelievers, I will kill them in a moment. Step aside.” One like
me, I was stepping aside, friends. God talked to me several times that he wants
to kill all of them. “Step aside.” I am stepping aside. Brother Branham said
that is the mistake that Moses made, that God put a spirit upon somebody for
their wickedness, and you go and try to take it off. Of course, he was acting
like Christ. He had to do that. But friends I was stepping aside. You want to
go to hell? Go ahead. If God come down and tell me now that all those spies in
here: “Step aside, Bruce, let me kill all of them.” I will say, “Amen!” Because
a Judas is not fit to live. You are not fit to live. After hearing the Word of
God under that inspiration and you could turn out to be such a hypocrite, you
are not fit to live.
They started murmuring
and complaining against Moses again, and the Lord came down. He said, “Step
aside Moses.” Moses was filled with the Spirit of Christ. He was acting out as
Christ. Yes. He told Aaron to run down there and get a censer, and stand
between the living and dead, and he said, “The plague has begun.” That man had
known something. Not even a dead man he had seen as yet. He said, “The plague:
get the fire from the altar. Stand between the living and the dead.” My
brother, in a matter of minutes, God started sending a plague of death. Killed
fourteen thousand, seven hundred men, for saying what they said. It is not what
they said. It is what was pushing that out. Those words that make up the title
of this message sounds very shallow, “Ye have killed the people of the Lord.”
But the gainsaying of Korah was behind it.
When a man starts
speaking in a certain way, you do not take him just for his words. There is
something behind that. A man flares up and uses certain words, you want to
know: “How are you taking that so hard?” I am not listening to the words. I am
looking at the spirit behind the words. I am questioning why you said that in
such a way. Yes. That is sound wisdom I am telling you about. Yes. A man flares
up and says certain things that could have far reaches and a greater meaning
than what your ears are actually hearing, and this is proven in this case: “Ye
have killed the people of the Lord.” I am saying, it is a heretic. You call him
a brother. What does that mean?
Here I declared that
devil there as a heretic and a sissy. You are brothering that? Something is
wrong somewhere. You say, “Well, it is my memory.” If you see as I see, you
will remember. So brethren, this is that crowd that was quarreling after Moses
started preaching certain things. They go in cliques, and say, “I do not know
how he could come down against Korah in such a way. The man has died and gone.”
By the morrow they got the same spirit
that killed Korah and his company.
In the morning they
got brave enough. This is another group now rising up; the day before they had
seen men die like flies by the judgements of God. Now that is how strong
unbelief is. That is how strong heresy is children. That is how strong self
opinion is. That is how disobedience
destroys people. Because they feel that they were right in their opinions.
God said that they were devils. Moses said that it was the devil, he proved it.
The earth opened up in judgement like never before, swallowed them up, and that
had the belly to walk up to a prophet and say, “Ye have killed the people of
the Lord.” And God heard it. God heard that unbelief. He heard the unbelief,
not the words, the unbelief, and when he heard that unbelief, and that defiance
against Moses and Aaron, and God himself. God declared them to be devils and
killed them. These people now arose, and say that they were the people of the
Lord.
God sent a plague of death immediately. Those big
mouth fellows started dying; all those preachers started dying. They started
dying here, and dying there. (Do you know what it is to look at fourteen
thousand, seven hundred dead men from the church? We do not even have a
thousand,) because of self opinion. Yes. Self opinion. You had your own
interpretation. Your own idea. You brought it over from Korah. You came out
from the Pentecostal tent; but you still have your dog ways. Yes. That is what
it comes to. Pentecostalism. You came out of your organization, but you are
under the message today with your same adulterous, and homosexual spirit, and
same sissy spirit, and want to function under this message. Defile the sisters.
Send them on the sports field. It is the same spirit. They came out of the
tents of Korah, but they brought over their doctrines under this message.
Pentecostalism under the message. Amen.
