spoken also by us?” No!
CHAPTER SEVEN
<And
Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had
married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. (A black woman from
And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses?
hath he not spoken also by us?… (That is my message: “Hath He not spoken also by us?”)… And the LORD heard it.
(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which
were upon the face of the earth.)
And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron,
and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And
they three came out.> (Numbers 12:1-4).
YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR
ETERNAL DESTINATION
I will refer you to the 16th
chapter of the book of Numbers that speaks of another incident like that. May
the Lord add the blessing to the reading of His holy Words.
And that story over in
the 16th chapter of the book of Numbers is similar to that in
chapter 12. And it speaks, not only of two people, but it speaks of Korah,
Abiram and Dathan; anointed men of God, great anointed men of God, gifted, and
they held offices in
And that is why this
story could never end, because it holds for today and it deals a lot with
unbelief. It deals a lot with the attitudes of people who God saved, and who He
redeemed. And over in the book of Jude, the servant of God reminded us, he
said, “Take heed and remember that group that God saved out of the
Now, these things that are preached are not
to put down everybody in a hole. No. It is to lift you up out of the hole, to make sure that you do not fall into
the same pit that they fell into. And a great amount of this relies upon the
attitude that we take towards God’s Word. And let me make this everlasting
statement. “Your eternal destination lays in the attitude you take towards God,
His servant and His Word.” Yes. And that is true. “Your attitude determines
your eternal destination,” will be a shorter sentence.
And the attitude that you took when you came
to this place is what have you seated here, some of you for many decades. Some
were young and now they are old. There were grandchildren born from them. The
attitude that they maintained towards the ministry have them seated here today.
And those that went out after hearing the Words of Life it was because of the
wrong attitude. They went out and who knows if there are any more chances to
return to the Lord. Your attitude could condemn you while you are alive and
bring you beyond hope or your
attitude could bless you with Eternal Life. That is how important your attitude
is.
You say, “Under what grounds you took these
people that did so wrong, and shamed the whole church, and brought them back in
the House of God as visitors?” Let me tell you. Their attitude, that even
though they were wrong, their attitude was one of repentance, and begging, and
pleading and crying for their wrongs that they done, and I know that the Lord
could use that attitude, to do the rest of the work. It takes a lot, my
brethren, for people to beg for years, over the phone, and then I told them, I
said, “There is no way that I will break my policy. There is no way that I
could break the Word. I love you, I want to see you saved but then I have
policies set here, and we have Bible
standards. We cannot break those standards for anybody.” Yes. But then, the
Lord turned right around, just like the woman caught in adultery. He said, “Let
him that is without sin cast the first stone at her.” Watch your attitude. You
could be in that same boat tomorrow, friend. So, that is why grace and mercy
was extended. And there were others that left for small things and their
attitudes are horrible. Yes. Their attitudes are terrible, terrible, and it
will determine their eternal destination.
It is so very important that when you come
before God, and come before His people, come before the Word of God that you
have the right attitude. Without that right attitude you will not hear what you
are supposed to hear. You will walk out and say, “O, that is a fanatic. Those
people are a bunch of fanatics.” Yes. People say, “That is a cult.” I ask them
to show me what the cult practices are.
Women dressing right, men living right, living holiness, do not smoke
marijuana, cuss, drink, smoke, gamble or womanize. Is that a cult? Now, you are
going to give account for your words because your heart knows better than what
your mouth is speaking. And those same people that call it a cult will go out
and boast about how good those people are. Yes. Because they know better, but
to be nasty they use their mouths in a nasty way.
When God gives you a chance to come, and sit
and hear His Word, He did not bring you here as an instructor, like you find in
weddings. “They should have done it this way. And they should have done it that
way.” That proud attitude will gain you nothing. You came and found something
established for forty years, shut your mouth, sit down and listen, ask a
question. Yes. You want to dictate now: “They should not do this that way. And
they should not do it that way.” You are not ready for the Word of God. Go
home. Go home until you find the right attitude otherwise that attitude will
destroy you. All that is in my message here now.
Now, it was the wrong attitude towards
eternal life, and salvation and the promise of God that actually destroyed
those people that were so miraculously delivered from the
“HATH NOT GOD SPOKEN ALSO BY
US?” -
“NO!”
There is a lot behind that statement, and
there was a terrible attitude behind that statement that destroyed the
congregation of
And when you hear a man, or a woman say
something, if you are a wise person you just do not let it pass by, if it is
significant. You want to check the abundance. It could mean something
important. A man could say, “Who, me? I do not bother to go to the office.”
There is an abundance somewhere. “No, I do not meet this certain brother too
much. No, it is about a year we never had anything to do with each other. I
never shook his hands.” Yes, you heard the words. Why? There is an abundance
down in the heart. There is an attitude and that is what makes you wise, when
you pass the words that a man coined, and then you examine the abundance that
it came from. “Out of the abundance of
the heart the mouth speaketh.”
Now, this great statement here that caused
Miriam to be leprous, as white as snow, immediately when she coined those
words, the Lord looked passed the words, and He looked at the abundance and she
became leprous, as white as snow. That means leprosy in its last stage, with
the flesh half rotted, ready to die, because it meant so much to God, and He
was seeing the heart, and the abundance and the attitude by which Miriam and
Aaron were speaking. And the Lord cursed her immediately with leprosy. It
proceeded from a negative attitude, the title of the message, “Hath Not God
Spoken Also By Us?”
Brethren, do you know how many things that
statement revealed? You see that word "also"?
Check it out. In other words, Moses was devalued in their sight, as the only
one that God was dealing with to lead them to the Promised Land. They included
themselves. And why did they include themselves? There were other things in
their hearts.
The title: “Hath Not God Spoken Also By Us?”
And I want to answer that, with an exclamation mark: No! Now, this is the same
attitude of this generation in the religious realm. That is the same
attitude that is now under the message that is going to cause the loss of many
souls. “Hath not God spoken also by us?”
God promised a prophet for every age. He
brings the message and you better listen to that message. And if God is going to speak by you, you are
going to be speaking that same message. That is the only way that God will speak through you, and that is, you have to
speak the same things as that prophet otherwise you will be destroyed. And we
can see that right here in this lesson. So, such negative statements proceeded
out of a negative attitude. And that is the curse of the religious world, and
that spiritual disease is present amongst the followers of the message. It is
related to pride. It is related to self. It is related to jealousy. It is
related to spiritual ambition.
And this is the similar attitude that we
found in Numbers with Korah, Abiram and Dathan, two hundred and fifty princes
and the congregation. They went and accused Moses. “You take too much upon
yourself seeing that the whole congregation is holy.” Very same accusation;
same attitude. And what happened? Fourteen thousand, seven hundred died in a
few seconds. The earth opened up and swallowed them. And this is the same
attitude that will destroy billions of people today. I am going to prove that
and we have proven that before.
Now, the story of Moses, for our visitors,
went back to the early millenniums. Moses was one of the greatest prophets that
ever walked the face of the earth. And maybe you did see the movie, ‘Ten
Commandments.’ That is the same story in the Bible with some little twists. And
what happened is that God’s people were a chosen people called the Israelites,
or the Hebrews then. God was dealing with those people. After a certain time
they found themselves in
And the little baby was born, yes, and he was
given a name by his mother, but then they were killing babies. The Pharaoh of
that land was killing the male children. And then, the mother in faith and the
father in faith, made a little basket of straw, and they put the little baby
into the basket, and sent him down the
Who you are, what blessings and the gifts
that you will manifest in life, you were born with them. God ordained you a
prophet. He ordained you to do certain things. Your jobs, your talents, etc.,
they were designed in you before you even came here.
And Moses was born a deliverer to deliver
And it happened that this little deliverer
grew up to be about forty years and yet he was not in his office. He was a
great military man. He went and conquered
And this Miriam was a big sister. It is said
that she helped put the basket into the water. She was a big sister and Aaron
was a big brother, and maybe Moses was the last child of the family. They took
that chance. And she was big and Aaron was big and old. So then, she had a hold
on this little brother and she had something to look back to. “I am the one
that put you into the water and saved your life.”
And then, it happened that God used Moses.
You know the story in the book of Exodus. Read your Bibles. It is a big story.
And He went and met God, spoke to God on the mountain, met a pillar of fire,
came back to deliver his brethren, after another forty years of fleeing from
And time will fail to tell you all what
happened in the
When you were in the rum shop, and down in the gambling den, and as a prostitute, and
wearing your shorts and pants, and when you were running down the women,
brethren, nobody had anything to speak for God. No. But when God took some
people out of those places, and they sit under the Word of God for just six
months, they became ambitious, and
they get a spirit upon them that they want to correct Moses. And they want to
correct the preachers that led them to the Lord, and took them out of sin and
out of slavery. Sin is slavery. Sickness
is slavery. You are a slave to that sickness, a slave to that sin. And then,
people came out of that and their attitudes changed. You were in your
deception, in your religions and organizations. You did not even know what was
right and what was wrong, but then the Lord had mercy upon you. He used
somebody. He may not have used a Moses but He could have used somebody, and
brought you to a place where you could see right from wrong, where you could
understand that you have a soul, and it needs to be saved. And then after that,
people take God out of their thoughts, to rise up, to think that they are
prophets and they are apostles. Yes. And they could tell the minister what to
do, and how to do it and how to run the church. And women with no cover on
their mouths, become slanderers, maintain nasty
attitudes and want to say what to do, and want to lift up their dress and
show their underclothes. That is when the devil possesses you. Yes.
MESSENGER’S MESSAGE BECOMES COMMON
And this was the picture out here. So now,
what was the problem? What was the attitude behind that great statement? It is
that the spiritual things became common
to Aaron and Miriam. That is the big thing behind this story. Moses became
common. The miracles that he had done, the memory of them became common. Moses
as their brother: “That is our little brother. Moses, our little brother.” Yes.
It became common to Aaron.
And Aaron himself was exalted into one of the
greatest positions. He was the high-priest that made atonement for all the two
million people, by entering into a place called the Holy of Holies. Nobody
could have entered there but one man called Aaron, to go and carry the blood in
there. When he went there, he met God face to face in the pillar of fire and
the Shekinah glory, not in a physical form. But then the Pillar of Fire was
standing there, and he felt the Presence of the Almighty, the same Presence that you feel in this
building, just in a greater measure, greater than it was in the Holiest place.
If the Lord would have brought this Presence, that you now feel, to Aaron, he
would have died. He was not born again. He was a sinner, and his soul was not
redeemed. And when he went in there, he saw the pillar of fire. There was a
thing called the
Miriam herself was a great prophetess. The
blessings of the Lord. So, hear this line up. We had a prophet called Moses.
His brother, Aaron, was the high priest, second in command. And you had Miriam,
a prophetess. And under them were the priests and the Levites that carried the
But what happened there that caused this
statement is that they allowed Moses, the man, to become common. And they
forgot what God said about Moses. The position of Moses, brethren, was a great
one. He was the meekest man upon the earth. God commended him. But I will tell
you something: it is unbelievable to unbelievers, that God made Moses God on
the earth. Could you imagine something like that? And he was still meek,
Gramps. The meekest man upon earth. God made the man God on earth and that
never, never, never lifted up the man. You say, “How is that, preacher?” One
day Moses complained. He said, “Lord, you are sending me to
When God chose the preacher, my friend, he is
chosen. You cannot change that. Nobody can change that. And whether he could
speak or not, or he has an impediment in his speech, friend, that does not
change God’s mind. Whether he is bandy-legged or he has one eye, like
And He said, “Okay, Moses, we will settle
that issue. I received your complain.” He said, “What I will do is that you
will be God on earth. You stand in My place and you be God on earth. And since
God speaks through His prophets only, I will give you a prophet. And your
brother Aaron will be your prophet. And when you have to speak, just tell Aaron
what you want to say and then Aaron will speak for you.” My. Isn’t that
wonderful? Now, brethren that alone
proved that God has a way to speak to His people, and that is He speaks
through a prophet. (Amos 3: 7). That
is how God brings a message to the nations, to the people, to the generation.
He speaks through a prophet. And He was going to speak through a prophet, to
So, these people forgot all about that. They forgot
that, that was God in flesh upon the earth. Yes. It became common to them
because that was their brother. They could have gone into his house, yes, and
say, “Moses, what did your wife cook there?” “See if she had some roti or
something there like that and bhagie (spinach). Fix up.” While the other man
had to wait for a whole six months to see Moses. Yes. They let things get
common. And not only that, brethren, what fooled those people was that they had
gifts, they had blessings. And I will tell you what fooled them. They had an
anointing, but that anointing was upon the body, and it controlled their
spirit, but the evil nature was not
changed. That is the biggest problem of so-called Pentecostalism. And that is
what I am talking about: Pentecostalism under the message. And that is what I
was re-emphasizing in the last few messages, friends, that God could gift you,
He could bless you, He could prosper you, He could anoint you and anoint you to
do a lot of great things, even like Aaron, even like Miriam, even like Moses,
even like David, even like Jonathan and backslidden Saul, who were swifter than
eagles and stronger than lions. It was the anointing of the Spirit.
Deceived by the anointing of god
I am
saying, and I want it to go under the fifth rib, to all that will hear my voice
on the DVDs and all that are listening in today, that so-called Pentecostalism
was deceived by the anointing. They were deceived by the anointing. That is a
treacherous thing. You want to know why Brother Barrow is so loud? You want to
know why he is so emotional? Brethren, because he had that anointing. You want
to know why Brother Chandler cannot finish thanking God, O! and it sounds like
a man-worship or something? I assure you it is not a man-worship. They are
looking back to see how deceived they were, and how deceived they could have
been if they never heard the Word and the true Spirit. That is why you make
noise. Yes. When we look back and see that great thing in that message, that a
man could be deceived by the anointing
of God upon his body. And the only time that a man would not be deceived and a
woman would not be deceived is when that anointing comes down in their souls.
And when that anointing comes down in the soul, you need not that any man teach
you, for that anointing teacheth you all things concerning them that seduce
you. (I John 2:26-27). “This I write
concerning them that seduce you, but that anointing teacheth you all things and
is no lie.” It is no lie. It is the truth.
So, the anointing, when it comes down into
the soul, it is truth itself. How can you deny truth? You cannot deny truth.
You are born again of the Spirit. So, the anointing coming down in the soul
equals the new birth, but that is not perfection yet. You have just begun to
grow into perfection. You have grown from the bottom of the pyramid, that is
faith, and you are growing up into sanctification through the pyramid. That is
true sanctification, and then you are coming up there for the Capstone, which
is the fullness of the anointing for the believer. Not the fullness of the
godhead but the fullness of the anointing for the believer, then you are capped
off with the Capstone.
Now, these people in the Old Testament lacked
these things, and that is why they could have behaved in such a manner. We have
to pity them but the emphasis, friend, is still that they were deceived by that
anointing. Yes. And so-called Pentecostalism is today deceived by that
anointing. And that same thing has happened
under the message, is that people take it for granted because God took that
anointing from so-called Pentecost and brought it up here, and gave it to the
people that follow Moses and follow the message of the hour, and they are
settled down for that, and they are deceived by the anointing that God gave to
them. They should have followed on like us to receive a deeper anointing, which
anointing the seals released. The
seals released a deeper anointing, and that is the anointing of the great
Hear what the Bible said. And Caiaphas
prophesied that one man should die for the whole nation. (John 11:49-51). And he was an unbeliever. And that unbeliever, the
Holy Spirit came upon him because the Bible said, “Because that was his
office.” So God was honouring, not the man, but the office that was in the man.
That office is so designed to catch that
anointing. And sometimes that man’s life is not entirely right, but then the
office gift, the Lord respects the
office gift, and the Spirit deals with the office. That is why we find in
the Book of Matthew 7: “Many shall come to me in that day and say, Lord, I have
cast out devils, I have spoken in tongues and I have done many might works in
thy name.” He said, “Depart from me, ye worker of iniquity.” (Matthew 7:22-23). Now that shows that
the man’s soul was not transformed and he knew what was right to do, but he was
not careful to do it, and then that will condemn him at the end of the road.
But with that anointing he could work signs and wonders and miracles. O yes. If
he even tells me that he flew up to heaven and came back I would not doubt
that. That anointing could do a lot of things. You say, “That is a little joke
you made, Brother Bruce.” No.
Brethren, the same anointing, anointed a man
called Elijah, and he passed the fastest horses. The king’s horses. You are
talking about speed: an old man. What will that great anointing do to us? No
wonder why we shall fly away to escape the wrath of the Almighty in this age. I
know it sounds like madness to the natural mind, but we believe those things. [Congregation
says, “Amen!”]
They
were deceived by the anointing.
Miriam was deceived by the anointing. Aaron was deceived by the anointing. Korah
and his company were deceived by the anointing. Abiram and the congregation,
they were deceived by the anointing because they knew that they were feeling
something. They knew that when they prayed, they prayed in the Spirit. They
knew that when they performed their duties, they did it in the Spirit and
thought, “If we have the Spirit; that is the same Spirit upon Moses. He is no
greater than us.” They were deceived by the anointing.
And today, when God sent a prophet called
William Branham, Elijah the prophet, anointed by the spirit of Elijah, he went
in amongst the Pentecostals, and when he raised the dead, they raised the dead.
When he healed the sick, they healed the sick. When he spoke in tongues, they
spoke in tongues, and they behave with the same attitude today. Yes. “Hath not
God spoken also by us?” No! He was not speaking. He was working signs and
wonders and miracles, but He was speaking through one man, and that was the
prophet of the age called William Branham. Yes. But all of you were anointed.
All of them were anointed but they were deceived by that anointing. And they
were deceived in so much that they withstood Moses. They came against Moses.
And that deception followed in such a way that they started to think that they
were equal with Moses. Is not that the curse of this age? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] That is the curse of this age. When God sent that prophet, all the modern
evangelists thought that they were equal with William Branham. They were not
equal. No. This Moses, this Elijah, this William Branham was in a different
category. His soul was anointed.
And so too Judas thought that he was equal
with Jesus, but Judas’ soul was not anointed but Jesus’ soul was. Jesus’ soul
was anointed. And it is the same pattern today. Yes. The ministry before the
day of Pentecost parallels the ministry of 1906. There was only one man in the
midst of all those preachers before the day of Pentecost whose soul was
anointed, and who had the real goods, the Pentecostal blessing. The others were
still waiting on it but they were anointed. And I believe that is what deceived
Judas that he stole the money from the bag, and yet still he could have
preached tomorrow under the anointing. Yes. You know why he could have
preached? Because God was honouring his
gift.
Do not let that fool you friends. If you are
a song leader and you start kissing some girl, and you would come back, and
lead songs tomorrow and you feel the anointing, do not be deceived by that
anointing. (I do not have a problem here.) God is not honouring you, but the
gift. There is a gift. You could come and blow your instrument, and nobody
would know that you fooled with some nonsense yesterday. Even because He is
honouring the gift. And the Bible said, “Because it was his office, Caiaphas
prophesied.” God was honouring His gift.
There is a certain time though that God
becomes fed-up with you and He just pulls aside. You reached your mark, and the
Lord lets you go, and you are going to bite the dust. He is not going to strive
with you any longer. His striving and bringing back the anointing to you, to
lead songs, and to pray, and to preach, and to speak in tongues, and prophesy
and then live like a dog, tomorrow, run away with a man’s wife. It was His
mercy to you and His pleading. And He was trying to woo you to repentance.
After He pulls back from you, that is trouble. “If you hear His voice, harden
not you heart, for the Spirit of the Lord shall not always strive with man.”
“He
that is being often reproved, hardeneth his neck shall suddenly be destroyed
and that without remedy.” (Proverbs 29: 1).
And let us come down to the believer. You
come and you feel the Spirit of the Lord, but you are walking in your iniquity. You could sing and rejoice, and you could
feel peaceful, and you have the fellowship of the brethren, and you could still
enjoy the message. Do not be deceived by that anointing. Your soul must be
changed. And you could miss services for several weeks and you still feel good.
You are not going to feel good all the time. No. You are getting weaker and you
do not realize it. Yes. You could walk in when you want, and service started,
and
Now, people get carried away. Brethren, do
not let the money that God prospered you with deceive you. The Bible said that
there is a spirit in this age, that will make people think that gain is
godliness. Yes. God blessed you with a little business. He blessed you with a
nice wife. You take it for granted: everyday you are rebuking that woman. God
granted you to have children, lovely children sitting under the Word of God. He
blessed you with a house. He blessed you with a car. He blessed you with food.
And if you look back, you are going to see that many of us never had that. Why
should I let a little blessing that God blessed me with become a stumblingblock in the way? I ought to
be grateful. God loves a thankful heart. People must never have it to say that
Christians are ungrateful people. No, friends. We should be the most thankful
people upon the face of the earth, for everything that God blessed us with.
Yes.
I speak for many of the brethren in the
message. Many of us never had food to eat. We never had lands. We never had
houses. We never had wives. We never had children; never had jobs, and God
blessed us. Whether or not you were an unsaved man, it was God that blessed
you.
And when people get those riches and they
prosper in different ways, their hearts become hard towards God. They want to
think it is their achievement. Study the book of Daniel; you are going to find
a man called Nebuchadnezzar. He did not realize that God made him king of kings
of all the earth. No. And then he stood up one day in his kingdom and he said,
“Is not this great
And some of us, brethren, we do not want to
eat grass. We do not have seven years to eat grass to learn that lesson. Let us
humble our hearts and let us be thankful for our healing. Let us be thankful,
brethren, for food. Let us be thankful for the air that we breathe, the food,
the shelter, the clothing; be thankful. Even if you are an unsaved man here,
you ought to be thanking God.
And these people here, it became common; a
lot of people in the congregation, Moses became common to them. Look at the
terrible unbelief friends. Those people used to get up and see a cloud, and
they knew that God was in that cloud. And that cloud used to expand so wide
that it was able to make a shade that covered
And what it is happened, dealing with this
group that had the wrong attitude, is that they let things get common. The
services of Moses became common. Moses himself became common. The cloud became
common, that hanged over the church. The pillar of fire became common. Aaron
going into the holiest place, it became common to him. Miriam beating the
tambourine and singing and prophesying became common. Why? Beloved brothers and
sisters, they were deceived by the anointing.
Do not let this anointing deceive you. You
better travail with God until your
soul is anointed. Anytime you let this get common to you that a Wednesday
service is put off. That does not concern me. A prayer meeting does not concern
me. I have enough already.” You are being deceived by the anointing. You are
being deceived by the blessings of God. Do not let this blessing be a
stumblingblock in your way, friends. And then, when things get common to you,
you know what happens to you? You start looking for new entertainments. And you
are going to find these entertainments in
A CHRISTIAN’S EXCITEMENT
Our
excitement is in the Word.
Our excitement is God’s promises. Our excitement is the messages of William Branham.
Yes. Read the books, listen to the tapes. Our excitement is, to talk to one
another about the blessings that God has blessed us with, and the privilege of
eternal life. Eternal Life is a great privilege. That is our excitement.
No, but you want to blind your eyes on a
computer from morning to night. And what are you playing? Foolishness. Foolish
jesting, and you teach your children that way, then you want to know how your
children are becoming so unspiritual. You took them away from the Bible stories.
You took them away from the Bible. You closed off your evening devotions and
you put them in front of the television, you put them before the videos. What
is going to happen to you? You will account to God for it.
So, Miriam and Aaron wanted a little more to
tickle them. It became common. And you know what happened? Watch the attitude.
When things became common to them, they lost
respect for Moses, and they thought they could have walked up to Moses and
correct him. And they thought that they were seeing some faults in Moses.
And when you get out of the Spirit and things
becomes common, the same man that you used to think highly of, you will speak
evil of him. Yes. The brethren that you revered and you met there in that
church, they start getting common to you. You start saying, “That brother, he
has such and such fault, and the other has such and such faults. And that
sister, I thought she was nice but she is not nice.” Yes. It became common to
you. It is a different spirit. You are taking on a different spirit, and your
attitude is changing. So now, this is right here in the lesson. I hope
everybody could understand.
There was a background before those words
proceeded out of Aaron’s and Miriam’s mouth. And there was a breakdown for a
long time. And the breakdown was a lack of respect; reverence, appreciation for
the pillar of fire, for the cloud, appreciation for the message that Moses was
bringing, appreciation for the Presence of God. Oh my God. Beloved, imagine
that Moses came down from the mountain, and he blended in with God, insomuch
that he became part of the pillar of fire. Have you ever thought of it that
way? He blended with God until he became part of the pillar of fire, that he
could not face the congregation, and they had to put a veil over his face to
hide the Shekinah glory of God, lest the people died. The Shekinah glory of God
was radiating out of the man, and at that time, I guess that they all bowed
down, and they were afraid to look upon Moses, but they lost that respect. Yes.
They had seen everything in
When you get like that, watch out. When you
get so bold, it is a devil anointing you. Yes. When you want to lift up your
dress in front of the brethren, and you were a pious, holy woman for years, you
hardly even wanted to talk or lift your brow, you are demon possessed. You are
in a terrible shape. Things became common and you fooled with sin somewhere.
Yes. You have your own plan of salvation. You wanted to keep back certain things in your life when the Word called for it.
And anybody that wants to keep back anything in their life when the Word calls
for it, it is going to canker you later. “A little leaven, leaveneth the whole
lump.” It is going to canker you. Yes. It may not canker you in a day but it
works, my brother, like a cancer for years, until it sends the roots down.
The word cancer came from crab. And it bites
you like a crab. And it sends down roots down inside of you, and then it gets
inside of your system. Pollutes the lymph system. And when it hits that lymph
system, you cannot stop it. It only takes God to stop it. It makes a root and
the doctor cannot cut it clear. He cuts it a little bit and then it scatters
throughout your whole body. It only takes God to touch you. My God!
Yes, friends. Do not let this become common, friends. This Word
should not become common to us at no time. Don’t let it become common. No. Do
not let His Presence become common. You say, “Well, that is one good thing. It
is not common to me. I got over that.” Why do you not attend the services as
you used to? Why do you not pray as you used to? Why don’t you study the
message as you used to? Why don’t you be reverent in the house of God as you
used to? Why do you get upset when people bring a complaint about your
children? You were the same one that was saying that wherever I am wrong,
please tell me. Why do you get upset when the Word comes and correct you? You
see, these are the things that you judge yourself by. Not by lip service,
friends. No. By your fruits.
People
go raging mad when you come
to them and tell them that their daughter was seen down the road doing wrong,
and their son was seen smoking cigarettes. They say, “My son?” like if you
should not make a complaint. What kind of a father are you, and what is the
condition of your soul? If your soul was in the right condition, you would be
so alarmed. When you allow things to become common to you, you are going to lose
respect. You will try to do your own thing. And when you do your own thing,
brothers and sisters, you are going to reach out into the deep end. Sure!
Now, that was the problem of
WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN
The more you get is the more you want. Yes.
Dissatisfied. The Bible said, “With contentment is great gain.” Fear strikes
you. You want to hoard up and leave millions for your children. They are going
to fight one another, chop one another and they will become enemies over that
money. That is what will happen. And you are so afraid that you die tomorrow,
that you want to hoard up gold and silver, and houses, and lands and money, at
the expense of your soul. And I want
to tell you something. While you are alive it will not make your family any
better because you are not setting the right example. And when you do not set
the right example, your children will start backsliding one by one, because the
Spirit is not ruling in your life and in their lives. And the same one you are
preparing for, brethren, they may even backslide and go into the world before
they get what you are preparing.
Let us trust God. Let us commit our lives
into the hands of the Almighty, brethren. Yes. He will take care of Naomi. He
will take care of Orpah. He is going to take care of Ruth. Even if God wants
them to go and glean in the fields, they are going to get enough seeds to eat,
but eventually they will bring forth the Christ-child.
People worry too much about this life. We
ought to be concerned men, we ought to provide. But, friends, you cannot
jeopardize your soul, that the more business you have is the more you want to
expand. Oh, they cannot see you in church for several weeks. Oh, expand out
here, expand. Don’t you know that is a worldly spirit? [Congregation says, “Amen!] That is why men become great
businessmen through companies? And they will outdo all the small men and all
the small companies. Yes. And they want to expand, and build, and build, and
they declare their profits of one billion dollars this year, at the expense of
the poor man. They wipeout the poor man. Yes. The poor man had to shut down
that business. It is a greedy, nasty fellow. A greedy, nasty man. Closed down
all the small businesses around you. You want to open a company and dominate.
You have a spirit in you. “And the rich man
also died, and in hell he opened up his eyes, and cried in torment.” Yes.
Don’t let that be your portion. No.
You have come to a place, friends, where God
has blessed you, and let us be contented. Yes. Get back your first love. Come
back, my beloved, to the prayer meetings. Come back to the services that you
ought to come to. My brother, give your heart. Repent when you do wrong. Yes.
If you have offence with one
another, patch the thing up. “Well, I do not talk to her. For months now I do
not talk to her. Years I do not talk to her.” Yes. You have sin in your life.
You have bitterness down in there, and that bitterness down in there will
corrupt you. Yes. It is the poison acid of malice down in your heart and you
will never grow. You will remain in the House of God a dwarf. Nothing destroys
you like malice, and hatred and it might be just a little something. She did
not shake your hand as she was supposed to. Or she bought a nicer dress than
you. You jealous pig. Yes. Her hair is a little longer than yours and yours is
baldheaded, so you are jealous of her for that. That is life. That is the
world.
Now, that was the attitude. Things became
common to Miriam. Things became common to Aaron. And when things become common
and you are tired of waiting for a man here, you will go and get one in the
world, you will pick up a backslider. And then when your lust is satisfied,
then you start bawling for mercy. Then you realize what you left for your lust.
Now, that is how it goes. Yes. The devil paints a big picture of outside there;
you do not care if you go with a Rasta man, you do not care if you take
somebody’s husband. Once you satisfy that lust, you are going out there. There
is nobody like you. You are a queen, first lady of the land. When they get like
that, at sixteen years, seventeen years, their chest raise. The prophet of God
said, “They lift their chest up in the air that if a rain falls, it drowns
them. They know everything. Mother cannot talk to them, father cannot talk to
them. O my, I tell you. They know
everything. They have a sharp mouth, sharper than a razor blade. Talk back
to father, talk back to mother, and let them know that: I got big now. And then
they get a big belly, and they get humble. “I should have listened to Brother
Bruce.” “I should have done this.” You are a rat! Gone out there and living in
fornication, live in adultery, you are a stinking Jezebel. And in the sight of
God and in God’s Book, you are a whore. You say, “It is only one man I am
living in fornication with.” You are a whore. The Bible called you a whore.
Anytime a young woman breaks her virginity outside of holy wedlock, she is a
whore. Anytime you dress immorally you are a prostitute. “He that looks upon a
woman to lust after her hath commiteth adultery already in his heart.” And how
many men you committed adultery with. You left the

young ladies are in a
different category. They did their wrong. They were wrong, they did a nasty
thing, but friends, they had the right attitude. Some of them never changed
their dressing. Some would call every week, and beg for mercy. I said, “I
cannot help you, child. I love you but I cannot help you. I cannot break my
policy.” “Brother Bruce, do something. Help me, Brother Bruce. Whatever you
want: I will leave this man.” I said, “I cannot advise that.” I said, “You are
tied up. Your life is tied up. You have children.” “Brother Bruce, tell me
anything to do. You want me to leave this man? I said, “I cannot decide. I
never gave you him. And if you left the Word one time for a man, are you not
going to leave the Word again to go back and get him?” So, the Lord had mercy
and we could only wait so long. We cannot let that be standard and policy in
the House of God. Understand what I am saying. And this is no rebuke to them
because they came here. I am telling you how these things happened.
And that does not mean that you will be given
the same chance when you do the same thing. Because some young women done that
and they have a nasty spirit on
them. Committing fornication, looking for the backslidden young girls, and go
into their houses and stay there with the ungodly man. And a whole group goes
down there and that is their company. That spirit would not jump on you? And
parents, when you allow that for your young girls, young boys to go and
fellowship with that young girl or young boy that backslid, are they not going
to take on that spirit? The whole of
Now,
that cannot become policy in the House of God. That is the doing of the Lord. I
obey as He leads. He extended that mercy, and if He extended that mercy, who
could find fault? My policy remains
intact, the Word remains intact. And this mercy was extended to see what
the Lord will do with these young ladies. To me they are children. They were
grown up here; they played with me, hugged, and kissed me. They are my
children. They made a mistake. They went out and they maintained the right
attitude. Never spoke evil of the Word, never spoke evil. They wore the same
kind of modest clothing.
You want me to take your daughter who is
running from man to man, wearing shorts and wearing pants, and cussing the
brethren when they see them? That rat! You want me to bring it back in here? No
sir. That is a different spirit. And you want to get offended because I would
not take back a rat like that? You go with her too. O yes. Sure. That is how it
goes.
This is what caused the fall of Miriam, and
Aaron, and Korah and company. All right! Let me lay this right, if this is the
last message I am going to preach on this, brethren. Now, that same attitude of
these people under Moses, Korah and company, and Aaron: “Hath not God also
spoken by us?” It is the same devil that
is upon Pentecostalism.
Now, nobody could say, “God talked to me,”
like so-called Pentecostals. Ask these brethren who were in Pentecost. Ask
Brother Barrow there. Every little dog and cat, “God talked to me. God told me
to tell you to give me some money.” And that was Parham’s strategy. “God sent
me to you, to borrow this ten thousand dollars.” Ask Brother Chandler there. He
is the cream of the crop. Casting out demons. “And God talked to me.” Now,
brethren, that was the same thing over there under Moses. “Hath not God spoken
also by us, Pentecostals? Hath He
only spoken by William Branham?” Yes! He was the prophet of the age. You are
going to listen to that message that William Branham brought otherwise you are
going through the tribulation, unto hell
and the lake of fire too! Yes. Nobody is big enough to correct a prophet.
And God showed them that no Korah and company nor Abiram, nor Dathan, nor two
hundred and fifty princes were in place to correct Moses at no time. The earth
opened up and swallowed them as a lesson, as an example to the rest of the
generations to follow. That is the way I believe this message.
Now, that is the attitude that prevailed when
William Branham was sent to the Pentecostals for thirty years. And that is why
they missed the revelation and they have
And friends, this is the sad part. After God
used so-called Pentecostalism as an example to show that you cannot reject a
prophet and come out right, brethren, they brought over that same spirit under the message. Right
now under this message that attitude prevails: “Hath not God spoken also by
us?” I tell you right here, “No!”
And that is the book that I completed last night with the help of the beloved
Brother Jack and it will go on the internet shortly, that the spirit that is
upon Dr. Frank is the same spirit:
“God had spoken also by me.”
I wrote book number twelve in 2004. And all
these men that were deceived, like Aaron and Miriam, Abiram, Korah and Dathan,
the major ones, are in this book. This is the same deception. They arose under
this message, claiming that God also had spoken by them. Now, I cannot read
this whole book to you tonight, but at least I could mention some names.
Book Twelve is on the Net and we have bound
copies in circulation. We are up to fifteen books of (E.O.D.H.) Exposition of
Damnable Heresies, which have circled the globe out of the little place called
Brethren the treasures
that are in those books that were taken out of the message and the Bible;
sometimes I am surprised; to go back and find out what is written. It came by
the inspiration of the Lord, and it is undefeatable, it is unchallengeable
around the world. When you challenge these great intellectuals; you better know
what you are talking about. Doctor Frank is no two-cent preacher. That man
influenced the whole of

Some of the main men that were carried away by
this spirit and this attitude: “Hath not God spoken also by us?” I am saying to
Doctor Frank, No. You let the prophet become common to you. You let the Word
become common to you, until you think that you are the German Eagle, and you have a partner, yes, over in Africa, who is
another apostle called Alexis, and he is the horse that the Golden Eagle was
looking over. What kind of fanaticism is this? And you Doctor Frank, you know
your sin more than me. Your wife is out of your house, and she exposed you. And
you want to claim to be a German Eagle. You are no German Eagle. You are
cobeaux. You are a vulture; going back to Pentecostalism with your Doctor of
Divinity, and your false interpretations. Infact you never did divorce that
system.
So now we have in this
book, page 43 of Book Twelve, E.O.D.H., and the name of it is ‘Seven Thunders
Heresies Versus the Real Program of God.’
It says, “Heretics
and false prophets. Dr. Ewald Frank of

one man that was carried away with the same error, of Miriam and Aaron. “God
hath also spoken by us,” and Dr. Frank thinks that he is revealing mysteries,
God is speaking through him, and he is unraveling the message. He thinks that
he is sent of God as the German Eagle. Nobody knows the message like him he
claims, and he is sent to straighten out the errors that are in Moses’ message.
You imagine that?
We have another bunch of heretics
called, Don Parnell, Charlie Clyde,
and Nate Moore, and company of
And
then you have another man called Emil Fichter, he is a German of South
Africa. He is next in line, followed by others who
were exposed, which we will update. Now he believes God spoke to him and to him
there are fourteen seals. Seven were opened by William Branham, and seven is
yet to be open here and he said that he is the only man that caught that
Revelation. Brother Barrow laced him good and proper.
Then you have an old man here. I addressed him as Elder C. W. Woods
of Arkansas USA. He thinks that he has the revelation of the seven thunders.
And he got his portion.
And then we have a fellow right down in Caribbean here called, William
Soto Santiago, of Puerto Rico, because he is one of the closest
impersonator of the Program of God, which makes him a living, model
impersonator, of that ministry, who has exposed himself, by working contrary to
the rest of the program of God; we will examine him and his agents with their
claims, in an elaborate way. Now Soto Santiago; he thinks that God has also
spoken by him, and not only Moses, and he says that he is the incarnation of
Christ. He is the second coming of Christ, and he will be sitting on the Throne
of David. Yes. That is how fanatical it is when you have ambition, and you want
to come against the prophet. God will give you over to a strong delusion. So
now this man said that he is the second coming of Christ. In other words, God
in human flesh, and the New Name is ‘William.’ “In the name of William rise up
and walk.” Yes. Not a fly get up, yes, and he is from
You have two
busybodies that were trying to give that interpretation to the church here.
Yes. One is called Brother Raule, and
the next one is Brother Guide. But he is a false guide. They tried to
expose the Exposition. I said, “Well, I am going to take up your challenge, but
I want your picture to put in it. So the next time you come around here I will
get your picture.” So they came up here one time, and started to brakes like
that. Since that they never came back. I said, “I want to put your picture
right there; next to your exposition.”
We have a fanatic. His name is Richard Gan of Singapore. He has
almost totally changed the message of Malachi 4:5&6. Allow women who are
divorced to re-marry. And I tell you his heresies are numerous. What I want to
do is give everyone of them a package deal. Pull it out from fifteen books,
just like I pulled out Frank, and gave him a package deal. Then if somebody
wants to find out about Gan, they could have a package deal. They could pull it
right up from the website.
Then you have a mad man called Samuel Roberts, a Trinidadian
German. He is of no account. The Word of the Lord defeated him in such a way,
that he has no place to preach.
Then you have the honorable Joseph Coleman of
Then we have a man in our backyard here called Vin Dayal, yes, he is the “five-star general of all ministers of the
message, and chosen to reveal all that Brother Branham did not reveal. He is
the Dove Led Eagle.” He claims all the ministries of Christ. God delivered some
out of his clutches. He has not opened his mouth after this exposition. Yes.
Then we come down to Mac
Carthy and Kennedy, who are now supporting Parham, and accepted
him wholly. Anybody that could speak evil of me is well embraced. But like I
tell people: I am not living by them. None of them is feeding me. None of them
is clothing me. What do I care. That does not bother me. And now they deny that
they are prophets. They are exposed by the books.
Then we have a man who claims to be in the Shekinah Glory, and to
have the real seven thunders, and rapturing faith for the Bride, Edwin Barton.
Then we have another
mad prophet in

we have this poor man who died recently: Raymond Jackson. I do not
know if he even got our books, and he was in the same deception: “Hath not God
also spoken by us?” So now he tried to bring out the mysteries of a
civilization before
You
must not let these things carry you away. Certainly a lot of these fellows
under Brother Branham, including Brother Jackson were anointed; he had dreams.
I believe he was anointed to preach. I believe he was an anointed man. Brother
Branham loved him. But again, you could be deceived by that anointing. After
Brother Branham died he dreamt that he got a letter in the postbox, and in
which it Brother Branham told him that you are to follow me, and you are an
apostle. Now I read all those ‘Contenders’ way back in 1969, right down the
line. I know what I am talking about, and I challenged one of his great men, a
German, a brother who came here to represent Brother Jackson of
Since
then I am fighting all those doctrines, and I tell you plainly they are not
able with what we are teaching. They are not able with what we believe, and
this on Book 12 I have not gotten a challenge, or the fourteen other books. Not
one of these major heretics ever picked up that challenge. You know why? They
are positive that I am quoting Brother Branham. But the big problem is that
pride got into their hearts, and they have their own interpretations,
and some of them do not want to admit that they are not preaching the message.
No. They will flat out say, “We believe Brother Branham one hundred percent.”
But they use Brother Branham’s name as a platform.
These
men are wrong as certain as Aaron and Miriam were wrong. These men are wrong as
certain as Korah, Abiram, Dathan, and the two hundred and fifty princes were
wrong. When God sends a prophet, and message to an age, nobody could change it.
Some of them claim to be correcting Brother Branham’s message; straightening
out the error that he made. Brother Branham had no error in his message. No
sir! It is a revelation, and that revelation is a perfect revelation. A man is
full of faults. We are not talking about the little grammatical mistakes here
and there. I am talking about the revelation. It is a perfect revelation, and
that revelation; whatever error that Brother Branham had was straightened out
by the seals, and the loose ends were tied up by the opening of the seals. That
was the one to correct Brother Branham. The one to correct Brother
Branham was Christ himself by the opening of the seals.
Brother
Branham himself said, “Many things we guessed at through the ages, and all the
messengers guessed through the ages. But now the loose ends are tied up by the
opening of the seals. The full Word of God was born again into existence at the
opening of the seven seals, and it must be thoroughly vindicated.” Yes sir! We
believe William Branham. We believe the message of the hour. He was right, and
whole world was wrong. Yes sir! We believe in another outpouring of the spirit.
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. We believe in the translation
of the body, and we believe that any man that arises and try to add or take
away from this message is wrong and they have the wrong spirit, and they have
the same spirit of Korah, Abiram, and Dathan.
Under
this message many have the same spirit of Miriam and they will be stricken with
leprosy. Leprosy of unbelief. May the Lord help his people. There are a lot of
God’s people that are tied up under these heretics, and I truly believe that
there are a lot of ministers who are sincere and love the Lord who got carried
away, and was deceived by their anointing, and I believe that Mr. Jackson is
one them that got a little carried away. I doubt that man came in contact with
our books. He got a little carried away by his dreams and different things like
that. May the Lord have mercy upon them, who have not heard the truth.
But
brethren, that is no kind of paper to read. “The Contender.” You should not
read them. There is a spirit, and I want to tell you something here. Brother
Bob saw by vision many years ago that, that will be an opposition to this
ministry when it goes out to the public. Maybe some of you never heard that
before, but that is the truth. All these heresies, there is a spirit behind it.
You may not think that, that is a spirit. But as certainly as Korah and his
company influenced the congregation; those things influenced the minds of
people and caused them to turn against our Moses, William Marion Branham.
The
only addition to this message is the revealing of the seventh seal, seven
thunders, and it has not yet gone to the public. But I tell you straight
forward here tonight. It is in secret somewhere, and you better maintain the
right attitude when you come in contact with that, and hear things that you
have never heard in your life. You will hear that message lined up as you have
never heard in your life. You will find the presence of the Almighty attendant
upon those truths, and you would have never heard Brother Branham’s message in
such clarity. Another thing that you will hear is that they are highlighting
another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. So you better search for it. May the
Lord bless your hearts. Give us a song Brother Chandler. Let us stand,
children.
