PENTECOSTALISM UNDER THE MESSAGE:

ISRAEL ABODE AT KADESH MANY DAYS

CHAPTER EIGHT

<And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.> (Numbers 13:25-33).

<And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.

Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me,

Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.

And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.> (Numbers 14:26-33).

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading of His Holy Words. Amen. “Pentecostalism Under The Message: Israel Abode At Kadesh Many Days.” And that goes very deep.

There is a scripture like unto that in the 12th chapter of the book of Numbers, which says, “And Israel journeyed not until Miriam was cleansed from her leprosy.” (Numbers 12:15). That means something. It applies to the church today. Leprosy is sin. And any time you have sin in your life, you cannot journey with God until you are cleansed from that leprosy. The Bible said, “And Israel abode at Kadesh many days.”

There is a reason why Israel abode at Kadesh. They were obliged to follow the pillar of fire. Whenever the pillar of fire lifted from the tabernacle, the trumpet sounded, and the priest blew the ram’s horn. It was time for Israel to break their tents, get their livestock, get ready; and that could have happened at four o’ clock in the morning. God made no announcement. All that Moses saw was the pillar of fire lift from the tent, and it started moving. Stood still and waited for Israel to get ready. You were going to move with the pillar of fire if you wanted to go to the Promised Land. So, if you want to reach to the Promised Land that we are looking for, you have to be led by the pillar of fire. Yes.

FOLLOWERS OF MALACHI 4: 5-6 ABIDE AT KADESH

You will find out shortly why Israel abode at Kadesh many days. And I am going to type that to the Church of God today. The followers of the message, they are abiding at Kadesh many days. And there is a reason why message followers are still upon the earth, after forty years of the prophet bringing the message to them. There is a reason and we want to find out the reason today, as promised in one of the messages. This might be a strange word, "Kadesh Barnea." It is the Hebrew language, and it simply means according to Biblical terminology, "the judgement seat of God." In other words, the Church of God has reached to the place of the judgement seat of God. And it is a terrible place to reach. Yes. It is a horrible place. It is a fearful thing to face an angry God.

And a little bit of that could be seen over in the 20th chapter of the book of Revelation. The Bible says that the heaven departed as a scroll when the throne of judgement was set. It is going to be a frightful time, when all humanity stands up before the Almighty once and for all. The Bible said,

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of Life. And all those who were not found written in the Book of Life were cast into the lake of fire, burning with fire and brimstone.”

That is a horrible thing. We do not want to stand there. You do not have to stand there, only if you will yield your hearts today and be obedient.

Isaiah 1:19-20 < If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword…>

But we are not of that class. We are here, trying to be obedient children, making all our wrongs right. Where we have failed, we want to do better tomorrow. That is our intention. That is our aim. That is our ambition.

God sent a great deliverer to Egypt land. He was born in that land because God’s people, His chosen people called the Hebrews, later on called the Jews; they were enslaved in Egypt land. They were a people enslaved, but they were God’s people. And when the time of their deliverance came, after four hundred years, God brought forth a deliverer called Moses, to deliver the people. He spent forty years in Egypt and he was going to be the next Pharaoh, but he forsook the land of Egypt to be numbered with God’s people. That is a great thing. And then, he went and met God in a burning bush of fire, the pillar of fire. And he spent forty years there under training. And at the end of that, God blessed the man, and gave him power, and gave him a staff and blessed the staff, and sent him to conquer the mightiest nation upon earth with a "crook stick" in his hand, a shepherd’s staff. And by that staff that God blessed, he worked ten mighty miracles in Egypt land, bringing down fire from heaven, bringing locusts, bringing all kinds of plagues, turning the water into blood. But then, there was a plague of death, and the Lord said through Moses, “Every firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the throne unto the dungeons, both man and beast, and then you shall let my people go, Pharaoh.” And so said, so done. O, it was a crying time, terrible time, for people who were disobedient; and the Lord saved Israel.

And there was an exodus, a calling out, and in that exodus there were about two million people, journeying from Egypt land. But the big thing in that is, they were just not leaving Egypt, but the Lord told them, I am going to take you to a land of milk and honey. I will give you a kingdom. I will give you a place of peace and happiness, out of your slavery. And they took their journey from Egypt land. Now, they were heading to the Promised Land.

That is the purpose of the message of God’s prophet that He sent today, Malachi 4: 5-6. God sent us a great prophet, and he was like unto Moses. This has nothing to do with church joining and the organizations that you see around. That has nothing to do with that. In the midst of all the wickedness of religion and moneymaking schemes, God sent forth a true prophet, and this true prophet came and brought us the true Word of God and the true interpretation of the Bible. He came and called a people out of spiritual slavery, of religion and sin. And he preached the message right in the churches, for thirty years, and a bunch of people came out of those churches, and that was called the third exodus. So now, the third exodus came by the man called William Branham, through might and power. He was gifted like Moses. Signs and wonders that were done by this man, books cannot contain them. But that is not the great thing. The signs are not the great thing. The great miracles are not the great thing. The great thing in that message is that, I will take you to a land that is flowing with milk and honey. We have a bunch of people today that follow the message of William Branham. People think that we worship this man called William Branham. That is not so. We honour him to be a prophet, but we worship Almighty God, and we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Saviour of our souls.

And as the time went on under Moses’ ministry; it was just about three days to the Promised Land, and another estimation is about five days to the Promised Land, from Egypt to Palestine, which is now modern Israel. And they took forty years, before they crossed over the Jordan into the Promised Land. Now, that goes to show how much unbelief could do to a man. Just use that as a measuring rod. It just shows us how much sin, murmuring, complaining, lust, despising of God’s servant, and despising of His message could keep us back from the good things of God. A three-day journey turned out to be forty years. And the majority of them never reached that Promised Land. The Lord cursed them at the end. He said, “Your carcasses will fall in the wilderness because you despised Me, you murmured against Me, you criticized My servant.” He said, “As I live your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness, and you are not going into the Promised Land. I am going to send your little ones.”

THE JOSHUA GENERATION LOOKS FOR OUTPOURING

There was a generation that was born on the way. They entered the Promised Land. And we are typical of that generation, who never sat under the ministry of William Branham. We were born on the way. And the right name for us is the Joshua generation. So, we are that real Joshua generation. The Moses generation, their carcasses fell in the wilderness and they perished. Because of what? Unbelief in the Promised Land! But there arose another generation, and they were called the Joshua generation, and they crossed over into the Promised Land and inherited it.

We had been coming through the different messages, to show how the devil brought all kinds of obstacles on the journey. As certainly as Israel was on a journey, we are on a journey. Not to a natural land but to a spiritual land. Yes. We are on a journey, and we are journeying to something. Not to a natural land. We are journeying, to a place of translation from off the face of the earth.

The Lord is going to burn the earth, according to Malachi 4: 1. “Behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; yea, and all the proud and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.” “Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet before the great and the dreadful day of the Lord.”

We believe that promise, and we believe that such scriptures were fulfilled today. God did send a prophet by the name of Elijah, in the person of William Branham. And he came with an identical ministry, like Moses. Wrapped up in the message of William Branham is a great promise to the endtime church. And if you miss that promise in the message, you have not heard the message as yet. Yes. And we are highlighting that promise. Many people heard, “Come out of Egypt,” but they never heard the rest or the part, to come into the Promised Land. And that Promised Land represents another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It represents back to Pentecost. We are going back to Pentecost. And after we reach back to Pentecost, we are heading back to Eden.

Any man that says that he believes this message, believes in Moses’ message, and is not highlighting the promise that was given to us by the prophet of today, do not understand the message. The heartthrob of Almighty God is to bring the end-time church to another outpouring of the Spirit, and without that outpouring of the Spirit there will be no rapture. No outpouring, no rapture. Every one of you must prepare now to enter into that outpouring of the Holy Spirit or you will be earth-bound. We are looking for a translation. And as mad as the world thinks that we sound, we are a people who believe that there comes a certain time on earth when we will literally disappear! I am talking about disappearing from the face of the earth, and breaking the law of gravity and climbing into the seventh heaven. I believe that with all my heart, and it happened in the Bible before. Yes.

There was a man whose name was Enoch, and the Bible said, “He walked with God, and he was not; for the Lord took him.” (Genesis 5:24). He went away in a rapture. And then, there was another man, walking one day, and he got old and tired. And then a chariot came down from heaven, a U.F.O. came down and swooped down upon the earth, yes sir, and another prophet was there and he cried out and said, “Behold, the horsemen of Israel and the chariots of Israel.” (II Kings 2:12). And it just swept that old prophet, and put him into the chariot and took him straight into glory. Why can’t I believe that when the Bible speaks about it? We are believers. Somebody says, “I do not believe that.” It is not for you. That is all. You were not even born for that, but we believe that.

And then, there came another man called the Lord Jesus. And He was an ordinary carpenter, but then after that He challenged them. He said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it up in three days.” (John 2:19). And then, they killed the Messiah, our Lord Jesus. They put Him in a tomb, and on the eighth day an angel came down and rolled the stone away. And up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph over His foes. He arose a victor from the dark domain, forever with His saints to reign. And that man came out of there, my brother, an immortal man and walked with His disciples, for forty days and forty nights. And at the end of that, there were five hundred witnesses, and suddenly His feet started lifting off the ground, yes sir, and He started to ascend in slow-motion. And while He was lifting upward, He kept on talking to them. And He went right up into the cloud, until a cloud of angels came and received Him out of their sight. And there stood two angels who said,

Acts 1:11 <Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.> Yes.

I want to tell you that that cloud appeared upon the earth in 1963, just as promised. But the cloud was veiling somebody. After a certain time that our Lord went up into the air, there was a cloud that came, and received Him and enveloped the Lord. If a fellow arrived late, he would have looked at the cloud and say, “O, that is a good rain cloud.” It was not a rain cloud. There was a man in the cloud. And a cloud appeared today, in 1963, at the opening of the seals, O, friends, but I want to tell you, there was a man in the cloud. His name is the Son of Man. He is not an earthly human being. He is the Son of Man. There was a man in the cloud. And the Son of Man  promised to return in a cloud, and it did happen today, and we are followers of that cloud and that pillar of fire.

EQUAL WITH WILLIAM BRANHAM

Israel followed Moses on this journey, but not everybody that left Egypt were believers, and that is where your problem is. You have make-believers and you have unbelievers. So, while they journeyed to the Promised Land all kinds of obstacles arose in the way. That is the same journey that we are on today. Yes. And what has arisen in our age? Unbelievers and make-believers. We dealt with several messages concerning the false anointed ones and we related that to Pentecostalism. And Pentecostalism was the opposition of the man called William Branham today. Abiram, Korah and Dathan. And because of being anointed, gifted, and priests who held offices, they wanted to be equal with Moses. And that is the big problem that is under this message today. That spirit of Pentecostalism is now under the message. Here we have men who represent Abiram, Korah and Dathan, who claim to believe Moses and claim to believe the message that he brought. But they also think that they are hearing from God, and they have the ability to interpret the Word of God, interpret the Bible and interpret the message of the hour. Not only that, but correct the message of the hour and correct Moses. That was the spirit.

Now, you look into the ministry of the prophet, and you will notice how Pentecostal men treated Brother Branham, how they spoke to that man, with disrespect, how they stole his tent, how they lied on him, how they broke up his meetings. It was the same spirit from back down in Egypt land there. The same spirit traveled up to the endtime. And this generation that we are living in is a type of Israel coming out of Egypt land.

The most rebellious generation that we ever read about in the Bible is that bunch of people that came out of Egypt land. We never read of a more rebellious people. But friends, we have one that is not recorded of in the Bible, and that is this generation. It is the most rebellious people and generation that ever existed upon the face of the earth. You are talking about proud. Malachi 4 bears that out. God said, “I am going to burn them like an oven! All the proud and all that do wickedly shall be stubble.”

There is hardly a man that you could find that does not know everything. It is a fearful thing to tell a man the truth. He knows it already; and he might rebuke you. It is a fearful thing to witness like we used to witness, because everybody knows it already. On account of that we hardly interfere with people. You are afraid to hand them a tract, hand them a book and talk to them about their soul, because it is a "know-it-all" generation. The spirit that prevails is that they "have need of nothing." That is the generation that we are living in.

That is why you need power, friends. That is why we need an outpouring. That is why we need the gifts coming back to the church, to redeem the elect of God out of this mixed-multitude and out of the world. The Lord is going to go to the poor. He is going to the vagrant. He is going to go to the people who are not considered in this world. Yes. And the Bible said, “And the poor gladly heard the gospel.” (Mark 12:37). Even because their hearts are more humble.

“How hardly would a rich man enter into the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 19:23). Even because his wealth and his riches puffs him up, and he trusts in uncertain riches, that even when he comes around the gospel, he wants to tell you, he wants to condemn and he wants to despise. That money puffs up their hearts. But the poor gladly heard the gospel.

False anointed ones arose under Moses, while a prophet was there. Understand what I am saying about false-anointed ones. These men were anointed of God, they were anointed on their bodies, they held offices; they were in contact with God. It is the same thing that happened under so-called Pentecost. That is what I am talking about, Pentecostalism. Now, after so-called Pentecost rejected this prophet, and spoiled his name around the world and hate us that follow the message, the anointing of the Lord that was with them, came over to the people that follow the message. Now, the big mistake of the followers of Malachi 4 is that they settled down for that anointing, and they want to think that, that anointing could take them in the rapture. Our contention is that it cannot take them in the rapture, because the foolish virgin had the same anointing and she went through the tribulation.

NO BIRTH, NO OUTPOURING – NO OUTPOURING, NO RAPTURE

All our messages preached that went out in fifteen books already is very simple, followers of Malachi 4, all Christians, any individual that has to go in the rapture must have an outpouring of the Spirit. And for you to depend upon the outpouring of 1906 is to go through the tribulation. Our contention is very simple and we believe it. We are ready to lay our heads right down on a block for it. I am positive of what I am telling you. No outpouring, no rapture! No revelation of the Son of Man, no birth! No new birth, no outpouring! No outpouring, no rapture! That is the plan of God. I am not guessing to tell you what I am saying, my brothers and sisters. The Holy Ghost bears witness and your hearts bear witness, by the Holy Ghost. I have not one shadow of a doubt concerning that doctrine. My beloved, you are going to get an outpouring or you are not going in the rapture. And you have got to break up the fallow ground. You have got to cleanse that soul and make it ready for the next outpouring of the Spirit. That is my contention.

We proved throughout our messages that the false anointed ones are right now under the message, and we are contending with those false anointed ones, even as Moses contended with them. This message, as promised brought us to the type of Kadesh Barnea.

From Egypt land they journeyed with much obstacles, and they reached to a placed called Kadesh Barnea. It is written, “And Israel abode at Kadesh many days.” There is a story behind that. Why is that so significant that they abode at Kadesh many days? You know the answer. Unbelief! Unbelief caused them to abide at Kadesh many days. And Kadesh represents the judgement seat of God. They had reached to the place where God was going to judge them. They were going to make up their minds to go in faith and take the Promised Land or they were all going to die in the wilderness.

And let me say this in a way that you could understand, brethren, that is the present stage of the followers of Malachi 4:5&6. They have reached to Kadesh Barnea. They have reached to the judgement seat of God, where they will go over with us and take the Promised Land or deny the promise of God. The promise of God has gone out in different forms, around the world, to show them that there is another outpouring of the Spirit. That is the present stage. You tell the world that there is a little preacher here that is saying that, that is the present stage of the ministry of the prophet, our Moses and the present stage of the people that follow this Moses and the message is that they have come to the place of Kadesh Barnea and they are abiding many days. They are not going over into the Promised Land, but they are going around in circles.

Do you know that they circled so much until they reached back to the Red Sea? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] Read your Bible. The very Red Sea that the Lord opened up for them to pass through on dry land; in that forty years they kept circling, revisiting the same stations because the land was small. And the Lord told them to rise from here and go to a next place. “And they reached to the Red Sea.”

Now, let me tell you something, friends. The people under this message are no less. They keep circling and they are powerless. Tell the world that I said so! They are powerless! They have a profession without a possession! Yes. They have denied the holiness message of the prophet. They have lost the joy of the Spirit. They are living in the shadows of the last revival, and they are trying to be warmed by a painted fire just like so-called Pentecostalism. They could boast about the miracles and signs that William Branham did, but ask them if they have the power of God. They claim a five-fold ministry and do not know who they are.

Now, a few years ago a man came by and said that he had been a preacher in this message for so many years. I sat in my hammock and I said, “I want to ask you one question. Be honest and answer me.” I said, “What is your position in the Body of Christ, since you are a preacher. Are you an apostle, prophet, teacher, evangelist or pastor? Now speak the truth. Can you tell me what is your position in the Body of Christ?” He said, “Brother, I must be honest to you. I do not know.” I thought that was an honest answer.

The followers of Malachi 4:5-6 assume offices of apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors but they do not know who they are. And I will tell you flat out here, all the ministers under the sound of my voice do not know their position in the Body. And for a man to stand up and claim that he is an apostle, he is a prophet, he is a pastor, he is a teacher or he is an evangelist, he is guessing at it, yet. But I am saying, the five-fold ministry is not yet placed, and there is a reason why it is not yet placed. We need another outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And when that outpouring of the Spirit comes, the five-fold ministry will be set in order. Gifts will return to the church, mighty signs and wonders, another book of Acts will be written. That is what we are heading for. We are not going to settle for this dead condition. We are marching to the Promised Land! We are more than able to take the land! The giants are bread for us! We are well able to go up and take the land.

The followers of this message are in the biggest mess that the world has ever known. They went back to the sports fields, they went back into immorality. They are fussing and fighting, and they are more badly divided than so-called Pentecost, even because of unbelief. They are denying the promise of God. Yes. The promise of this message is another outpouring of the Spirit. The promise of this message is a rapture. The promise of this message is mighty signs and wonders to accompany the church before the rapture takes place, and they are denying it.

They have reached to Kadesh Barnea. But there are two generations that are standing at Kadesh. One is a Moses generation and they are supposed to die for their unbelief. And there is a Joshua generation that will believe the promise of God for the hour. The spirit of Joshua will fall upon that new generation, and they will fall under the inspiration of Joshua. Joshua was a man who confessed faith in the Promised Land and he said, “We are more than able to take it. Let us go up. At once let us go up and take the land because the giants are bread for us, and we fear no opposition.”

Nothing could stop us from marching to the Promised Land. We are going to get it, we are going to have another outpouring; we are going to have another revival. I believe it with all my heart. No Korah is going to stop us! No Abiram is going to stop us! No Dathan is going to stop us! No Gan is going to stop us! No Jackson is going to stop us! No Dr. Frank is going to stop us! All the heretics that will rise up cannot stop this promise of God. A bunch of infidels has arisen on this journey.

Anything that tries to stop this march to the Promised Land is antichrist. Yes. Any man that rises up and denies the outpouring of the Holy Spirit is trying to stop this march to the Promised Land, and he is an infidel, he is a heretic. I do not care what he claims. I do not care how long he followed the prophet. Any man that denies another outpouring of the Holy Spirit coming to the Bride is a heretic. Any man that comes and tries to better the message of William Branham is a heretic. Any man that says that he is trying to correct the message, and show the errors in the message, and modifies the message, he is a heretic. We are marching to the Promised Land.

TO DENY THE OUTPOURING IS BLASPHEMY OF

THE HOLY GHOST

Kadesh is the place that Israel, God’s people, called out by Moses, denied the promise of the hour. And this is where the message followers are standing today, denying the promise of the hour. Kadesh is the place that God judged them, where the Lord finally decided to curse those people that disbelieved His promise.

What the Lord did was that He called a few men and said, “Go and search out the land. Let us know if it is a good land.” Out of the whole congregation, certain people were eyewitnesses of this good land. So, they went over there, and they spied out the land and they said, “The land is a real good land. It has milk. It has honey.” That is symbolic, to show you the goodness of the land. They picked a little bunch of grapes, that two men had to carry. That is some grapes! They came over and they told Moses, “That land is just like what you said, but we are not able to take it.” "Unbelief." (Hebrews chapters 3 & 4). They entered not in because of their unbelief.” That happened at Kadesh Barnea, the judgement seat of God. And right there, friend, that angered God. He said, in other words, “I had enough of that. I heard your murmuring, from the land of Egypt. All what you done, I forgave you for it, but I will not forgive you, for denying the promise of God. It is the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. I will not forgive you. Your carcasses will fall in the wilderness.

Now, type that to the hour in which we are living. For any man to deny the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and fight against it, it is the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. It is to fulfill Hebrews 6. It is to fulfill Hebrews 10. It is the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, and your carcass will fall in this world, and you will die and not go in the rapture. That is how we believe this message.

Kadesh Barnea. The Lord got angry. That is the place that He wanted to kill them in a moment. And God will kill a man in a moment for denying His promise of the hour. The promise of the hour is God’s heartthrob. For a man to rise up and say, “There is no token coming. There is no outpouring coming. Bruce is fooling the people, and there is no capstone coming.” You are going to find out who is fooling who. Some heretic is fooling you somewhere. Some Abiram fooled you somewhere. Some Korah fooled you somewhere. Some Dathan fooled you somewhere. Some Miriam fooled you somewhere. There has got to be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and we are more than able to take the land! Yes.

You say, “Well, thank God I am not in that bunch.” O, I thank God too, friend, but you could reach to your Kadesh as an individual right here today, the judgement seat of God. When you sit under the Word of God, and you have in mind to go out, and taste of the world, and live like a dog and say when you have the time you will come back, you have reached your Kadesh Barnea. God could judge you any day. When you want to go and wallow in sin there, and you want to go out and have two and three men outside there, and then come back and sit in the House of God, you are a dead hypocrite and you have reached your Kadesh, and God could curse you any day. You could fulfill Hebrews 6, Hebrews 10 as an individual sitting right there, because you heard the promise of God and you are not marching to the Promised Land. So, there is a Kadesh for every one of us and we had better pass the test at Kadesh, as the Joshua generation.

Not all failed at Kadesh. No, my brother. The Moses group failed at Kadesh but the Joshua generation arose, and they followed Joshua and followed Caleb. And they had the same spirit upon them. They were anointed differently. Yes. Joshua was anointed differently.

And when Moses was going, God called him and said, “Get set, climb up on this mountain, you are going to die.” Yes. He said, “But Lord, I love this people so much. Set a man over them.” He said, “All right! Well spoken. Call Joshua, for he has the Spirit of God in him.” God knew what He had placed in that man. He called the man because he had the Spirit in him. And then, the Lord brought Joshua and anointed him. Of course Joshua types the Holy Spirit, Revelation 10: 1. The next ministry to follow Brother Branham is none other than Christ. The other ministry that was to follow John the Baptist was Christ. Yes sir. Not these quacks like Gan! Not these quacks like Junior Jackson! Not these quacks like Dr. Frank! Not these quacks like Santiago down in Puerto Rico! They are all Korah, Abiram and Dathan! I make no apology whatsoever. Yes sir. Any man that tries to change this message is antichrist. Any man that wants to correct Moses is a Korah! Anybody that tries to correct the message of William Branham is an Abiram, a Korah and a Dathan. That is the way we believe it.

INDIVIDUALS AT KADESH – identify Joshua generation

I hope that none has reached their Kadesh here today. If you are an adulterer, sitting under the Word of God, you have reached your Kadesh. If you are a fornicator; the ministers may not know here today but God knows. He sees your wickedness as a young woman, as a young man, an old man and an old woman. Yes. “The eyes of the Lord runneth to and fro upon the face of the earth and nothing is hid.” (II Chronicles 16:9). Yes. And when you leave here after friending with a young man and go to another place to find an ungodly man, you are a prostitute. Unless you get that prostitute spirit out of you, you have reached your Kadesh and God could curse you any day. Yes. Kadesh Barnea is the place of curses and you are talking about everlasting curses.

You never heard God speak to another generation like that. He said, “As I live, your carcasses shall fall in the wilderness here. You are going to die and not see the Promised Land. Yes. I have spoken it.” Yes. Though Moses pleaded; he said, “Lord, the nations will say that the Lord was not able to bring the people into the Land, which He swore unto them, therefore He hath slain them in the wilderness. Pardon the iniquity of this people.” (Numbers 14: 13-19) But the Lord was so wrathful, He said, “Moses, let me kill them in a moment. I will start another generation. I will kill everybody here.” Do you know what caused God to get angry? Denying His promise. Brethren, understand what I am saying. The Lord forgave them for their murmuring. He forgave them for their complaining. He forgave them for their fornication, their lust. He forgave them for everything on the journey, but when they came up to Kadesh Barnea, and they heard the preaching of the token, they heard the preaching of the land, men went over and saw the land, yes, they came over with the evidence and they said, “We are witnesses and the land is good, but we cannot take it.” God never forgave them for that.

But there were two men that stood out of them. Joshua and Caleb, who had a revelation of the land. Yes. And they said, “The land is a good land. There are big grapes over there. There are big giants too, but we have a big God.” They had faith. “Do not waste time. Get your swords together. Let us go up at once and take the land. It has no delay in this. Let us go up at once and take the land.” Men that are seated here today, under the sound of my voice, they want it right away. We want the token right away. We want this outpouring right away. Yes. We want to see this promise.

Now, what do we have here today? The Bible said, “And the other ten brought up a false report.” Hear this, how nice that is. I preached a message many years ago: ‘False Reports.’ Now, out of the twelve that went to see the land, ten of them brought a false report. Do you know what was the false report? “We cannot take the land.” Do you know what was the true report? “We could take the land.” Do you know what is the false report today? “No token is coming. No outpouring is coming. No revival is coming.” Yes. “All things remain as they are since the fathers fell asleep.” (II Peter 3:4). It is a spirit of the devil. And do you know what happened to all those who brought that false report? They died! Read your Bibles. They died by the judgements of God. And the Bible said, “Joshua lived and Caleb lived still, (Numbers 14:37-38), even because they had a true report.

You are hearing a man with a true report. You are hearing preachers with the true report. And not only am I going to live, but you will live. We are going over to take the land. Yes. I do not care about your faults or your mistakes, my beloved. I want to find out what is your purpose, what is your motive, what is your ambition, what is your reverence for the Word of God, what is your reverence for the message, what is your reverence for the promise of God; and you are going over to take the land! Yes sir. Going over to take the land. Sink or float, my brothers and sisters, lame or halt we are going over. Yes.

You failed? Get up and try again. Yes. Repent for your sins. Are you a fornicator? Stop committing fornication. Are you an adulterer? Get rid of that spirit. Yes. God is not going to destroy you for your faults. He is going to destroy you, because you do not believe you could take the land. I am saying, you could more than get the outpouring. Yes. That is the sin, my brother, to believe that you cannot get it. I believe I could get it. I believe you could get it. I believe you could overcome all your faults, and all your failures. It does not matter who you are today, as long as you want to go on with God, you could go on with God. If you are a sinner in here, God could forgive you for all your sins, cleanse you from all your iniquities, and remove all the vices of your heart. All the desires of sins could come out of your heart as you sit there and hear the Word of God under the anointing of the Spirit. Yes. You have to yield while His Spirit is here. That is where the dry rods will blossom, and bring forth fruits overnight. And the reason that there are so much backslidings under the message today, and they have to keep the people by sports and having sports teams, even because the Spirit of the Lord is drifting away from the followers of the message.

Do you realize where Aaron’s rod budded? It could not bud outside of where the Shekinah glory was. No! The Lord knew where that miracle could take place. He said, “Bring it into the holiest place.” Friends, and the “Holiest place” came to meet us. I am telling you. The "Holiest Place," came out, yes, to meet the children of God, so we do not have to go to Jerusalem now. What was in the holiest place is called the Shekinah glory of God, and that is where you are sitting everyday. People want to know how you could be here for two days fasting and praying, and listening to the preaching. My brother, you are sitting in the Shekinah glory of God. Yes. And you are budding overnight, and you are bearing fruits overnight.

Yes. And what happen to the people, is that when they come to the House of God, they do not yield. You have got to yield to the Spirit. You have got to forget your worries. You have got to forget the girlfriend, forget the boyfriend. You have got to forget the nasty life that you are living, and you have got to bow before His Presence, and cry out to the Lord. Lord, deliver me! Lord, deliver me! I am a sinner, save me! I am a backslider Lord, help me!” And I am telling you, you are going to bud overnight. Yes. You are going to blossom, you are going to bud, and you are going to bear almonds overnight. And when you do that, you could live in the Shekinah Glory of God. The rod of Aaron that went in never came out. No sir! It remained in the Shekinah Glory of the Lord, as a symbol to all Israel, to cease from their murmurings. Yes. That is the Glory of God.

And we were some dry sticks. You are talking about dry staves, sinners, rum drinkers, gamblers, smokers, thieves. Do not talk about "cuss." That was our second language. Yes. Thank God, you children, who were dedicated here, who came in one piece here. We came here in four or five different pieces. Thank God, that you were born here, and we dedicated you here, and you have Christian parents that brought you into this place. We were a miserable people. We were Egyptians. We were slaves to sin, slaves to our desires, and the taskmasters were beating us everyday. Frustration!

Yes. We were sick and suffering outside there, like the song went out this morning by that little sister. My God! She brought back her testimony to my memory. Yes. It brought tears to my eyes. In her testimony, she said, how undone she was, and how frustrated in life that she was, but then the Lord found her. And she is anointing His feet with an alabaster box of ointment. I could enter into that feeling. We could enter into that feeling. Yes. How could you forget what God has done for you?

After you finish drink alcohol, you cussed, you smoked, you were frustrated, you were ready to commit suicide, and God brought you, my brother, and He gave you peace, He gave you joy and He gave you happiness, you want to return to a bar-stool? You hypocrite you! You want to go back and run women? You want to go back on the sports field? Boy, I tell you! Let me die a million deaths. As Brother Barrow always says, “Let me die a million deaths, before I go back to the things that God brought me from.” But people are wicked to themselves. They know what they suffered out there, brethren. They came and they enjoyed the peace of the Lord, and do you know they have the guts to want to go back there, and try it out again? You have reached your Kadesh Barnea.

Yes! But friends you could stand at Kadesh Barnea, and others could stand at Kadesh Barnea, but we could prove that we are the Joshua Generation. How do you identify the Joshua Generation in this modern world? Friends, we are going to follow Joshua, the Holy Ghost, and we will confess the faith of Joshua that we are more than able to take the land. We are not afraid of the giant Gan. We are not afraid of the giant Santiago. We are not afraid of the giant, my brothers, and sisters, of the heretics in New York. We are not afraid of them. We are more than able to take the land. You have a pastor here that is not afraid of a heretic in the world. I am not afraid of any of them. My brother, I am like David with my small sling-shot, and I am swirling my sling-shot and it is going very far, way out into China, way into India and Africa, and wherever Goliath is, we are going to get him! Yes sir! We are more than able to take the land.

How do you identify a heretic? They will think that they have everything and they are ready to go in the Rapture. They would not highlight the Outpouring. They would not highlight the Token. They would not highlight the Capstone. Yes. All that they would highlight is themselves and their heresies. And Gan is one of the biggest heretics that the world has ever seen. That man perverted almost every doctrine of Brother Branham. Even allowing women to remarry. Yes. His excuse is that if the woman was married to an unsaved man before she became a Christian, when she becomes a Christian and she is divorced, she can be re-married. You lying hypocrite you. Romans 7 said, “As long as her husband liveth, if she be married to another, she is an adulteress.”

Romans 7: 2-3 <For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.>

He preached a doctrine that seven men are to reveal the seven thunders, and besides that the seven men are the seven thunders. I guess one of the thunders died recently; and he got that doctrine from Brother Jackson. Yes. Junior Jackson. Gan was a faithful disciple of Junior Jackson; and that is Junior Jackson’s doctrine: “Seven men are the seven thunders,” and I guess that Gan is one of them. But their thunders split. Their thunders had a division. Yes.

You cannot follow heretics like Korah, Abiram and Dathan, and go to the Promised Land. The earth is getting ready to open up and swallow all these heretics. Yes sir! So now, at Kadesh Barnea was unbelief. At Kadesh Barnea were murmurings. At Kadesh Barnea was lust. At Kadesh Barnea was disrespect to God’s servant. They said, “Let us stone Moses. Let us stone Joshua.” Yes. And the glorious thing is that at Kadesh Barnea there was another generation that was born on the way, and they were going to take the Promised Land.   Anything that tries to stop our march to another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the Rapture is of the Devil. I am saying to the whole world and to the whole message world, anybody that denies another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit coming to the church, has an antichrist Spirit. Let me divide this line. There are thousands of ministers, thousands of good men and believers who do not have the knowledge that there is another Outpouring of the Spirit. I am not saying that about them. I am talking about men that are aware of another Outpouring of the Spirit, and will deny that. You are antichrist. But God’s children will hear about the Promise of God, and they are hearing presently around the world, and they are waking up, and they are not ashamed to confess that. They said, “We never knew that, but now we know, and we are contending for that promise even though it costs us our lives. We are going forward and we believe it.” You act like the Joshua Generation when you talk like that. When you contend like that, you are talking like the Joshua Generation.

Now, a good scripture that you could use over here is Numbers 20, to prove that anything that tries to stop the church from going back to Pentecost, going back to another Outpouring, which types the land, (that was a natural land, this is a spiritual land) Do you know who tried to stop the march of Israel to the Promised Land, and what happened to them? The nation of Edom. God never did forgive them for that sin. (Numbers 20:14).

Brethren, look how humble Moses was. He sent a message. He said, “King of Edom, your brother Israel. You know the things we suffered from Egypt Land. You know how slavery overtook us, and we are asking to pass through your land. If our cattle eat anything on the way, we will pay for it. We will not swing to the left or to the right. We will go down the King’s Highway. We are going to use the King’s Highway.” Yes. And beloved, Edom said, “You cannot pass through our land. I will come out to you with the sword.” Moses sent back another message, “But we would not damage anything. We would not eat anything. We would pay you for whatever we use.” And Edom came out there with a mighty force, and Israel turned away. Search that scripture out. God never did forgive the Edomites for that, and he remembered their deeds. He said, “Because they never met you with bread and water, they are cursed. Therefore, an Edomite shall not come into the congregation of the Lord, until his tenth generation.” Cursed!

And when a man rises up, and he puts a stumbling block in the way of a believer from entering the Promised Land, it is better that a millstone was hung around his neck. When a false prophet will rise up, and he will pervert the Word of God, make a heresy to explain away the promise of God, add to this message, take away from the message and pervert the message in any form, he is trying to stop you from entering into the Promised Land.

So now, Edom was cursed because they never met the children of God with bread and water. Blessed is the man who will meet us with bread and water, and lend a comforting word, to try to encourage us to walk this Christian pathway. You are a blessed man. But then, if you try to prevent us from going on this journey, you are a cursed man. The Bible said in Galatians 1, “Though we or an angel come from heaven, and preach any other doctrine, let him be accursed.”

Galatians 1:8-9 <But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.>

And any man that rises up and tries to change, modify or pervert the message of William Branham is a cursed man. Just as certain as Edom tried to prevent the journey of Israel; every heretic today that perverts the Word of God, that preaches another doctrine, that tries to correct William Branham, that denies the truths of William Branham, that adds to the message and claim that they are getting more revelation, is cursed the very same way.

Friends, if God cursed a whole nation, and He cursed His own people, because at Kadesh Barnea, (hear the blasphemy that they spoke), they said, “Let us make a captain and return into Egypt.” When you come to that place where you decide; “Let me go back to Sodom and Gomorrah. Let me go back and live like a dog. Let me go out there and live in fornication. Let me go and live in adultery. Let me go and look for some women now.” You have reached your Kadesh Barnea, and God could curse you right there. Yes.

Now, these snakes in the grass today that pervert the Word of God, they got smarter than Korah, Abiram and Dathan. And hear the "wisdom" that they use. They come and they claim that they believe the message of the hour, and they believe it one hundred percent, they claim. “But we are here to explain the message to you. There are certain things that the prophet did not put in the right perspective. So, we are here to show you and to bring you back to the Word.” Now, that is the trick of all these heretics. They are not denying the prophet. They are not denying the message. All that they are saying is that, “We are trying to show you what in Brother Branham’s message links with the Word, and what is not the Word. We are only going to take what is in the Bible.” And they will take what they want from the message and link it to the Bible with their own interpretation. Now that is a snake from Eden. Yes.

That is what the serpent had done. He came there trying to explain the message after God delivered a pure message. Now, let me ask these heretics one thing. If you are to take the message of William Branham and show what is the Word, does it means that the Word came to you and not William Branham? My Bible, in Amos 3:7 said, “The Word of the Lord comes to the prophet.” And what the prophet brought to us is the Word of God, and he said, “I preach exactly what Paul preached.” And the whole of heaven rang out and said, “We are resting on that!” Are you resting on that today? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] We are resting on that. I say, away with all these heretics. They have no anointing to change the message of the hour. They have no wisdom. They have no revelation. They have no calling in their life to add to this message or take away from this message. Yes. Any man that does that, his part shall be taken out of the Book of Life. Oh yes!

Now there is a story. Just to tie down this point. I Kings the 13th chapter. I told my grandson, Bob Lee to read it. He is waiting on this message. It is the saddest story that I ever heard. I think I will read it a little, for you to get the feeling of that story. Now this will express to you how no man could come after a prophet and change the message of that prophet. Yes. It is punishable by death. All right. Hear this story brethren:

I Kings 13: 1-5. <And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.>

            That is a king now.

<And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD.>

That is the man of God, the prophet of God.

<And said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.>

The man of God came down to Bethel.

<And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.>

“Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Get the picture of this story. A little man of God came down to that place, to cry against the sins of the people, and he made a prophecy that the altar will be rent and such and such will be done. But then the thing here is that this king Jeroboam was hearing that, and he got angry at the prophecy. You do not get angry at the Word of God. You do not get angry at rebukes. You must not get angry when the message is unfavourable to you. And Jeroboam got so carried away that he said, “Lay hold upon him there.” And as he said that, his hand remained out like that and he could not pull it back. Anytime he tried to pull it back, he could not. He was going around in circles trying to pull in his hand. The king. Are you a king? Do you have any right to say, “He should not say that, and should not do that, and he should not run the church like that, and he should not do this?” Are you a king? God has no respect for you even though you are a king.

I Kings 13: 5-6 <The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.>

Oh my! Do you see the wonderful and merciful God He is, and do you see what repentance could do, children? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] I do not care if your hand withers today, or your ears are withering or your heart is withering with lust. If you will repent, God could restore you. Is that marvelous? This story always fascinates me. This was happening in a matter of seconds, or minutes. In one moment the judgment of God struck the man, it dried up his hand, and immediately the man thought to repent. He said, “Intreat now the face of the Lord thy God, even for me, thou man of God, that my hand be restored.” And the man of God, no doubt, knelt down and said, “Lord forgive that man and help him.” And his hand got back as good as ever.

Do you see what repentance could do? I do not care what your condition is today. Repentance could straighten you out. If it could have straightened out the king’s arm, it could straighten out your heart. Yes. It could heal your body. Yes. You could be cured of any disease, if you will believe in your heart.

Look at this. Oh my! This is fascinating. This man deserved that. He was supposed to go through life with one hand outstretched like that. Yes. And then he just thought: “I know that God is a merciful God. Let me beg the man of God and see what could happen. Yes. I know that I am a sinner. I know that I am a backslider. Let me go and beg the man of God for a chance, to come back to the House of God.” He could restore you. With that attitude, He could restore you. Yes. Oh hear, hear. Oh my, brothers, and sisters.

I Kings 13: 7-10. <And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me. >

The king was inviting the man of God to come home with him. Hear this stand of this man of God.

<And refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward. And the man of God said unto the king.

If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place: For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.>

Oh my, brothers and sisters. The king’s meat never enticed the man, because the man was faithful to his commission. He said, “Even though, king, you will give me half of your house, God told me not to eat bread in this place, neither should I drink water, and to use another road to go home, other than I came by.” That is the way that a man ought to keep the Word of God. Let no friend entice you. Let not money entice you. Let not women entice you. Let not your affections carry you away brethren. You ought to keep the Word of God. But the greatest deception, friend, was not the king. The greatest deception out there for this man was not the king. Somebody had to come in the name of God. And the deception is laying today where people are coming in the name of the message and saying, “I believe the message just like you. I am a preacher. I am called of God.” And hear this story:

I Kings 13: 11-19. <Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah. And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak:>

Is not that something? Can you get into the picture? He left the king’s table, where he could have dined, to keep the Word of God, and he got tired on his journey, and he sat under an oak. He could not eat anything. He was supposed to fast. He could not eat anything in Bethel; and maybe he got weary, he got tired from fasting and he sat under the oak. The devil was coming at him. The devil was coming to slay him. And that is the way that the devil came for the people under this message, coming in the name of God, like the serpent came to Eve.

I Kings 13: 14-18. <And he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am. Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread. And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.>

Hear this, eighteenth verse. Is everybody ready? [Congregation says, “Amen!”]

<He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. >

Oh can you get into the feelings of this story? This lie is going to kill this man of God. And this man had some influence. Hear the deception, “I am a prophet like unto thee, and an angel met me on the way, and he said it is okay for you to come and eat bread.” There is no excuse for you to break the Word of God. That is why Brother Paul said, “Though we or an angel come from heaven, and preach any other gospel, than which we have preached, let him be accursed.”

I do not care how many Gans will rise up, how many Junior Jackson’s will rise up, how many Santiago’s will rise up, how many Dr. Frank’s will rise up, and claim to be what prophet they are, they cannot change the Word of God that William Branham brought. That is the way that I stand with the message. When you read these things in the Bible and you see these false prophets, how they deceived people, and caused them the lost of their lives, I am more determined to go forward. I will contend with any man upon the earth. I will deny any man. I will not only deny the king. I will deny even a “prophet” or an “apostle,” or a “Son of Man,” as they claim to be and even God manifested in human flesh. I am defiant. Oh God! Look at this story.

I Kings 13:18. <He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.>

A prophet lying. Prophets get backslidden too.

<So he went back with him.>

            He signed his death warrant.

<And did eat bread in his house, and drank water. >

Brethren, when God tell you something, follow that. Do not let a woman lead you out of the way. Do not let a man lead you out of the way. Do not let a false prophet lead you out of the way. You do not let a heretic lead you out of the way. Follow what God said. Take his original message.

<And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back: He was a genuine prophet, but backslidden. And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee, But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.>

Brethren, it is the false prophets and deceivers around the world that are misleading the children of God, in the name of God. Yes. And we see how Korah, Abiram, and Dathan, and everybody deceived the people of Israel. They were the ones responsible, to bring them to the judgment seat of God, at Kadesh Barnea. And that is where this is heading, friend. All these heretics around the world are leading the children of God that follow this message, to a complete denial of the Token, and even when it comes, they will criticize it. They are so pumped up with unbelief that they will deny the very promise, after it is manifested. Let me complete this story:

I Kings 13: 23-34. <And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase. And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.
And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him. And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.

And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him. And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother! And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones: For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.

After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places. And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.>

Is not that a sad story? [Congregation says, “Amen!”] What is it, brethren? When God tells you something, nobody is able to change it. God sent us a pure message by William Branham. Not a heretic, not a false prophet, (I do not care how gifted they are,) how anointed they are, has any authority to change one word of that message. That is the essence of what I am trying to get to you today. “Though we or an angel come from heaven, let him be accursed.”

Galatians 1:8-9. < But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.>

But the seals were not opened. No. And this poor man, though he was a prophet, he did not understand the deception of the Devil. And because this man said that he was a prophet, he took it for granted, that, “Yes, if you are a prophet, and an angel met you, and you are an older man than I am. You have more experience than I do in the field of prophecy, and you said that an angel met you, and told you that I could come back and eat, I am really hungry. I am thankful for this grace. I am thankful for this blessing. I am so hungry. I am tired under this oak; and upon your word, I trust you with all my heart. I trust you with all my soul, as an older man than me, as an older prophet, and a man who had been in the way long before me. “Yes. I will go.” And he took the word of that lying prophet, that backslidden prophet, and went out, and ate at the man’s table.

Just to show you, brethren, how that anointing works. A man could be a liar, he could be a sinner, but then God honours the gift, just like in so called Pentecost. God honours the gift. So, though this man was a lying dog, nothing was wrong with the gift. Just like nothing was wrong with Judas’ gift, but the problem was with Judas, the gift was so good that God took the gift, and put it in Paul. “Let his bishopric be taken from him, and be given to another.” So, nothing was wrong with the gift.

Now, how that operates, here was a backslidden prophet, yes, anointed even by the Devil, but then when the time came, just like Balaam prophesied, here, the Spirit of the Lord came upon the gift. Not upon the man, but upon the gift. So they sat eating there, and all of a sudden the Spirit of the Lord came down upon the gift, and he said, “Thus saith the Lord, because you disobeyed the Lord to come back here and eat, your carcass shall not come to the sepulchre of your fathers, but you shall surely die. And that prophesy was true. And he went out there, and a lion met him on the way, and killed him.

So friends, what does that add up too? You could be a liar and still feel the anointing of God, and you could still have the joy of the Spirit, but that is not going to last too long. You could be an adulterer or a fornicator, and if you have a gift of prophecy inside of you, or a gift to sing, you could still sing. God is honouring His gift, not the man, the gift. Just like Caiaphas. Yes. So, that is how that operates. And friends, there are heretics outside there who are great orators, great men that can speak, but they are lying prophets, and people are following them by the millions around the world today, because they could work some signs and work some wonders. But where the whole thing is determined, is if you could keep that Word of God. That is where you recognize a false prophet from a true prophet, and that is, they could keep the Word of God. How many enjoyed that today. [Congregation says, “Amen!”]

Brother Chandler, sing us a song. Thank you for your patience. Amen.
