of June 2001, there was a second gathering of
message believers at Bethel (The House of God), Calcutta Road No.2,
Freeport, Trinidad, West Indies, for the purpose of exposing other Heretical Articles, apart from those which were
previously exposed in Book One.
Again,
ministers of the Message of William Branham, Malachi 4:5-6, God's Servant and
Prophet to the Laodicean Church Age, were personally engaged in this spiritual
warfare, bringing down the stronghold of interpretations. Churches, Ministers
and Lay-members from the Caribbean, South and North America also supported this
work in various ways.
These
ministers used the written Word and quotations of Brother Branham and
successfully exposed these new Heresies. They took the same simple approach of exposing
these articles of this exposition as was previously used in exposing heretical
articles of Book One. These articles are now re-produced in this book from
magnetic tapes and videos, therefore it is a documentary reproduction of such
magnetic taped sermons.
This
second book on Exposition of Heresies- Mamba Snake at the Jordan is a
continuation of the first book in which
fourteen heretical articles were exposed by various ministers of the Faith.
This second book is of the same nature
and basis as the first book, the difference being the heretical articles, No.s
15-24. This second book arose out of the great demands, responses, comments and
encouragement from the ministry worldwide. We felt obligated to publish this
second book to make known the works of the Antichrist and Nicolaitan seducers
around the message of the hour. Our intentions are not to attack or
discriminate against ministers, churches or individuals believing contrary, but
to expose heresies in the message in general. "For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood but against powers...It is our God given duty to contend for
the Faith which was once delivered unto the saints, lost but now is restored by
Malachi 4:5 & 6 - William Branham, the messenger to the seventh church age.
This booklet is free of all
charges (freewill contributions are accepted to cover printing and postage
cost) and may be reproduced by believers of the message of Malachi 4:5&6,
but strictly without alteration in any form.
We would like to give
authorization for the translation of these books into different languages,
however, we would like to be informed of such and would like copies of the same

These messages "Exposition
of Damnable Heresies - Mamba Snake at the Jordan", Articles-No. 15 to 24
are for the edification of the bride worldwide, to give an answer to those who
have projected such doctrines to us and to better equip all who contend for the
faith and the promises of God delivered to us by Brother Branham.
If
these messages happen to reach you, may it be fully understood that they are not
intended as a personal attack on any individual or group. They are
purposely designed by the spirit to expose these damnable heresies injected
into the message of Christ. We do not in any form indicate that we are ministers holding the offices of Prophets, eighth messenger, Christ, Son
of Man or any other office gifts. Such offices are not necessary for
the exposition of damnable heresies especially after the major Prophet, William
Branham has delivered the faith.
Vision
of the Mamba Snake
"I was coming down to the Jordan: looked like I was standing on the map of Palestine. And I was coming down to the
Jordan…And as I drew near the river, I looked back and seen which a way I
had come, and I was two thirds of the
way there to the Jordan. And I looked across Jordan, and I said, "Oh,
praise God, just on the other side is
where all the promises lay. Every promise lays in the promised land."
it seemed that I was lifted up and setting on a--a highway, a narrow highway
with some brother. And a voice came and said, "There's such danger in
these days. There's a great hideous
thing that's death when it strikes you." And I heard the weeds a-mashing
down, and I looked, and here come a huge monster snake crawling through the
weeds…And he crawled up on the highway. And as soon as I got sight of him,
I knew it was a mamba...And the
snake, of course, represents sin, death.
See?…And I said, "Satan, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bind
you." …And then when he did that, that Voice said, "Now, you must be more sincere than what you are to do
this." Then it left me, and I was standing in the room…And so I slipped
off into the den room, and I got down on my knees, and I said, "Lord
Jesus, I don't know these things. And what must I do?… And I took this Bible
and just pulled it open like that, and my thumb was laying at I Corinthians the
5th chapter, the 8th verse,…"When you come to this feast..." Which, a
fast in the body is a feast with the Lord, “don't come with the old leaven or
the leaven of malice, and so forth; but come with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth," just exactly
what He had told me in the vision…Then I seen what He meant. As He... Years ago, when I seen the Bible come down
(I got it wrote right here.), come down; and a hand came from heaven and
pointed down to Joshua, and read the first nine verses, and stopped there. That's Joshua, come to the wilderness,
but never did... He was ready to... When he got near Jordan, God called him
out, said, "This day I'll begin to magnify you before the people."
And then he took the children of Israel across Jordan to the land where--give
them, divided to them, the promised land.

AFRICAN
BLACK MAMBA SNAKE
MAMBA,
a highly venomous, egg laying snake related to the cobra. Mambas are widely
distributed in Africa except in the arid north, and they are the most feared of
African snakes. Slender and agile, they have not only large venom conducting
fangs in the upper jaw, but also extremly long teeth in the lower jaw. They
attack swiftly, raising their foreparts high in the air and often aiming for
their victim's head or trunk. Noted for their agressiveness, mambas are
especially dangerous during the breeding season.
INTRODUCTION
2 Peter 2: 1-3 - " But there were false prophets also among
the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall
bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring
upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways;
by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through
covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose
judgement now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth
not."
Titus 3:10-11 - " A man that is an
heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is
such is subverted and sinneth, being
condemned of himself."
We deem this, another historic event, a most important gathering in many
months. We feel the atmosphere of the Holy Ghost by singing the song this
morning “ Come and see the antichrist”
We are here this morning for the exposition of damnable heresies which
men have injected into the message of Malachi 4 God’s servant and Prophet,
William Branham. So we declare war again this morning on all heretics and all
heresies.
And we would spend the rest of the day exposing these heresies. We will have
several ministers today. I want to explain briefly what is a Heresy as an
introduction because we are planning again to put these heresies in another
book as “Exposition of Damnable
Heresies” Mamba Snake at the Jordan No.2
I would like to entitle this topic “A
Heresy and its power.” A heresy is one of the most powerful
weapons in the hands of the devil. It is greater than the atomic bomb. In the
hands of scientists, the atomic bomb destroys the body and material things, but
a Heresy destroys the souls of mankind.
A Heresy means doctrinal departure from
revealed truths or erroneous views. I will sum up the meaning of a heresy as a lie
injected into the word of truth and the Message of the hour. These heresies
that we are exposing are partly based upon the Message of the hour, and the
Bible. So for you to have a heresy, you must have truth. Because a heresy is
departure from truth. So all heresies are built upon some truth. Truths of the
Bible, truths of the message that God sends upon the face of the earth.
Therefore to have a heresy you must first have truth and then that heresy is
built around the truth of God’s word or the Message for the day and hour, in
order to mislead God’s children that they don’t find the way of salvation. A
Heresy is invented by Satan to misconstrue the truth to cause mankind to lose
the way, or mistake the way of truth and salvation. A heresy is a lie.
In other Scriptures, heresies are called by different titles.Doctrines of devils (1Tim:4:1) Private interpretations (2Pet:1:20)
Another gospel (Gal 1:1-9) Spiritual darkness (Jn 3:9-20)Deeds and doctrines of
the Nicolatians (Rev 2:6) They are all one and the same and pertains to the
same subject and that is perverting the Word of God. Perverting the truth, perverting the
Bible, perverting the message that God sends to mankind. So heresies are based
on truth but are doctrinal departure from truth. The power of a heresy is
greater than the atomic bomb. Peter the man with the keys to the kingdom of God
called a Heresy “ Damnable Heresy.”
Therefore the power of a heresy is expressed in the word “ damnable” and that
says a lot.“ Damnable heresies”. Right
there, we can see that the power of a heresy is damnable. Damnable to what?
Damnable to the souls of mankind. Is it something to play with? Is it
something to expose? Did the prophets exposed them? Did the apostles expose
them? Did Jesus exposed heresies? Did brother Paul expose heresies?
(Congregation says Amen!) Of course they did, because they knew the danger of a
heresy. A heresy is a damnable thing. It damn’s the souls of mankind and takes
them to hell and the lake of fire by changing God’s provided way of salvation.
It is the power of Satan to enslave souls to himself, his religions, his
organizations, and his servants until he takes them into hell and the lake of
fire.
Let me stop for a moment, and go back, just to lay emphasis upon the fact that
a heresy is departure from revealed truth. My brothers and sisters, there is only one way of salvation and
that is through the way of the Bible, through Christ, through the revealed Word
of God for the hour. To emphasize the power of a heresy. The power of a heresy works in this way. Satan comes in by his
cunning devices and tries to change that one way of salvation. If he can change
that one way of salvation to mankind then he shuts up the kingdom of God toward
men. A Heretic always shuts up
the kingdom of God from men. I want it to go down deep into your ears. In every
age and every day there is only one way of salvation, that is through the
message that God sends to mankind. Heresies are built around that one way of
salvation, one truth, one revelation that God sends to them. In other words a
heresy tries to shut up the only way of salvation to man that God has provided
through Jesus Christ, through the bible, and through the message of the hour.
If he can shut up that only way of salvation for the hour, and give you a way,
resembling the way of salvation, then he destroys your soul. So heresies are
built upon revealed truth of the hour. It comes very close and resembles the
way of salvation for the hour and Jesus puts it in these words, the two shall be so close together that it shall deceive the very elect if it
were possible, the only way for you to escape these damnable heresies now upon
the face of the earth is that your name must be written on the Lamb's book of
life and you must be elected from the foundation of the world. This is that day
and age that our Lord Jesus Christ preached about in (Matt. 24-24) False prophets and
false Christ shall arise and they shall deceive many. These false
Christs and Prophets are with billions of deceptions, right now upon the face
of the earth and billions of heresies.
But among all these billions of heresies and millions of heretics there
is only one way of salvation. All these heresies are based upon revealed truth.
Therefore a heresy is the power of Satan, to enslave souls to himself, to his
religions, to his organizations and his servants until he takes them into hell
and the lake of fire.
I declare here, my brothers and sisters, beyond any shadow of a doubt
that all religions and man made organizations are built upon Satan’s heresies regardless of the names of their
religions, and the names of denominations, and organizations, they are built
upon the heresies of Satan. And in the midst of all these heresies and
organizations and religions there is only one way of salvation today that God
has provided, and that is through Jesus Christ, through the Bible and also
through the message of the hour, that came by (Mal:4). If you are not following that one way of salvation you are
caught by a heresy. If you are not following that one way of salvation you are
deceived by the devil and a heresy.
There is only one way of salvation,
every organization, every religion, and every denomination is built upon
heresies of Satan. Time will fail to name these heresies. But anything that
believes in a trinity, is built upon a heresy. Anything that is not baptized in
Jesus Christ name, believes in a heresy. Anything that believes in three Gods
is a heretic. Anything that believes speaking in tongues is the evidence of the
Holy Ghost is built upon heresies. Anything that believes in roll books in the
church is built upon heresies. Anything that is built upon preacher’s licenses
and Bible schools is built upon a heresy. Anything that separates brotherhood
and ministers by education and qualifications is heresy. Anything that allows
women to preach the gospel is heresy. Anything that builds an organization,
Bible school and college to preach the gospel is heresy.
All religions and organizations are built upon heresies. But the
elected is founded upon the word of God.
“A heresy and it’s power.” Because people don’t evaluate how powerful a
heresy is they treat it very casual and they become very offended when other
people expose those heresies, and they blame them for criticizing.
Anybody that acts like that does not have the understanding of the power of a
heresy. If you don’t have the understanding of how powerful, damaging, and
damnable to the soul a heresy is, you need to be born again. Yes! Now divine
revealed truths of God are the only power that is able to prevail over Satan
and his heresies. There is only one way to escape Satan and his deceptions, by
heresies today and that is by divine revelation of the truth.
All these heresies are called
the gates of hell. And Jesus said in Matt.16 “Upon this rock shall I build my
church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” and that is the
revelation of the Son of Man, and that is why Luke 17:30 was to be revealed
today, in the endtime, because false Christs and false Prophets were going to flood the earth
and bring forth heresies to take six billion people's souls to hell. At the
same time it pleased the Lord to reveal Luke 17:30, the Son of Man revealed in
the endtime, that they might have power over heresy. Oh my! If I could only
bring out what is in my heart, but I know that you are understanding. I am
saying, the only escape from the heresies of Satan today that have flooded the
entire earth by false Prophets, is a divine revelation of the Son of Man. And
your name must be on the lamb’s book of life before the foundation of the
world, because Jesus Christ said that these two spirits would be so close
together in the endtime, that they shall deceive the very elect if it is
possible. I want to make a connection here to show you, the power of a heresy,
how God actually planned it out in order to save the elect in the endtime. To
resist these heresies, I am saying on the basis of what I just said about the
power of a heresy, that the entire Bible is for the Exposition of Damnable
Heresies, and the establishment of truth by divine revelation.
You say, "Preacher what is the meaning of the Bible? What is the
substances of the Bible?" The substance of the bible is “Exposition of
Damnable Heresies”and the establishment of Truth by divine revelation. That is
what the Bible is, and if you want it a little more simple than that, the
entire Bible was written to expose, Satan and his heresies, and to establish truth in
people's lives. That is the substance of the Bible. Then the entire Bible was to
expose Satan and his heresies and to
establish truth in the souls of mankind. Because heresies destroyyou but truth
saves you. When Jesus Christ came, he met the organizations full of heresies.
Yes! And he said “ Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”
Yes! The basis of the entire bible is “Exposition of Damnable Heresies” ,and
the establishment of truth by divine revelation.
You say, "what’s the message?" The basis of the message and
revelation sent to mankind by God through his Prophet, was to expose heresies
and heretics, false prophets and establish the elect upon truth. Every message
from Genesis to Revelation, that God ever sends upon the face of the earth, is
for the purpose, to expose heresies and establish God’s people on truth. Think on those statements. What is the message of William Branham? The entire message of William
Branham was sent to expose all heresies and establish God’s children upon
Truth, and the basis of all messages that were sent upon earth, and all revelation
sent to mankind by God through his prophet, were to expose heresies and
heretics, false prophets, and establish the elect upon the truth.
May I make another statement? The purpose of every true office gift of
the five-fold Ministry, is to expose heresy without favor or compromise,
without respect of person. That is how to know the truth of God. That is how
you know who belong and who does not belong to the five-fold Ministry. A true office gift that comes from
God, is based on the bible, based upon God purpose Yes! And they are so gifted
to expose heresies and establish the people upon every truth. Any preacher that you hear say, that
nobody should criticize each other's doctrine,
does not belong to the five-fold Ministry. Because he missed the
purpose of the Bible, he missed the purpose of the message, and his gift never
came from heaven. If his gift came from heaven he would act like Brother Paul,
he would act like Jesus; he would act like Moses. The battle between truth and error, heresy and truth, waged from
heaven between Michael and Lucifer. Heresy never started on earth.
Heresy started in heaven and the author and inventor of heresy is Satan.
And by his tale he drew one third of
the stars of God and cast them down to the earth. That is how powerful a heresy
is. A heresy is so powerful, that it even challenged God in heaven. And right
under the nose of Michael and Him that sits upon the throne. A heresy was in heaven itself, and caused a
third of God’s Holy angels to fall down to the earth. And they are now in
chains of darkness reserved unto punishment.
Heresy came down from heaven and it came into Eden. The first heretic was
the serpent, inspired of the devil, who was the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil in the Garden of Eden. So the heretic from heaven came down to Eden
and became a tree of heresy in the Garden of Eden.
And that one heresy that the serpent brought to Eve and to mankind is
responsible for every hospital, every graveyard, every sickness, every pain and
every trouble upon the face of the earth.
That is how powerful a heresy is. Should we play with a heresy? We cannot
play with a heresy. God’s purpose is to expose a heresy. It’s the Tree of Life
versus the tree of knowledge of good
and evil, it’s the Tree of Life versus the tree of heresy. And this battle is going to end up today here upon the
earth between Lucifer and Michael. That heresy was such a great thing and it’s
always based upon the message of the hour, because the serpent based his heresy
upon the message of God that he brought
to Eden .
Yes! Korah, Abiram and Dathan who based
their message upon Moses' Message and right under the nose of a Prophet called
Moses, who opened the red sea and did ten signs and wonders in Egypt land.
Right under his nose a heresy was working through Korah, Abiram and Dathan and
through other men, two hundred and fifty princes, and that heresy swallowed
those two million people and caused them not to enter into the promised land.
That heresy caused the people to deny the promise of the hour.
All heresies around the message today
are to prevent another outpouring of the Holy Ghost to come to the endtime
Bride. Satan is trying to stop the Bride from going over into the promise land.
And that is your mumba snake at the Jordan. The mumba snake of unbelief
and that devil is waiting at the Jordan trying to prevent the Church from going
over. Should we play with a heresy? Is a heresy a damnable
thing? Yes! It destroyed two million
people in the wilderness, because that heresy was working under the prophet
with a pillar of fire while he was alive. After all the signs and wonders, they
ate the manna that came down from heaven, that heresy was working right there. I want to hit the power of the heresy
just right on the nose. Yes! Everybody that does not see the power of
interpretations, and power of doctrines
of devils, power of private interpretations, is deceived of the devil.
That heresy came down from heaven and came down to the earth. It
was based upon the true Message of God. The True Message of God said don’t eat
of the tree, and the heretic came and injected one word into it. And he said,
“ye shall not surely die” “N-O-T” just a three letter word, “ye
shall not surely die." Korah, Abiram and Dathan right under the nose of
Moses, one of the mightest man that ever lived upon the face of the earth.
These heretics were able to persuade all those people by their heresies and
caused them to deny the promise of God of the hour. Yes! I am saying that the
entire Bible was written to expose heresies. Every message that God sends upon
the face of the earth is to expose heresy, I am saying that every true gift
that God sends upon the earth is to expose heresy and establish Truth .The
power of a heresy stopped people from
going over into the promise land.
I am saying, that the entire Bible and every messenger that God sent
upon the face of the earth was to expose heresies. God always sends a message,
he always sends his messenger when heresies take over the church, and the
people. Yes! What was the purpose of John the Baptist? The purpose of John the
Baptist was to expose heresies, and you read your Bible and you will see how
efficiently he did that Yes! he exposed the heresies. He raked down those
Scribes and Pharisees and he said “Now the axe is laid to the root of the tree
every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast
into the fire.” Was he a preacher of righteousness? Yes! Did he expose the
churches in his day; did he expose the ministry in his day? That was the purpose
of John the Baptist, that was the purpose of William Branham. When God sends a
message and a messenger to the earth he has one purpose, and that is to expose
heresies and establish truth.
Here came Jesus, my Brothers and Sisters, Jesus was the most critical Preacher that ever walked the
face of the earth. Yes! I am telling you He was the most critical preacher.
Yes!, He was contrary to everybody. Yes!, and the basis of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ is to expose heresy and establish truth, because in truth there is life.
Read the Gospel and you’ll see the contentions that our Lord had with the
Pharisees, contentions He had with the scribes, contentions He had about
doctrines. His entire ministry was based upon exposing heresies. Are we wrong
in sending out a book called “Exposition of heresies”? We are right my Brothers
and Sisters based on the Bible, “Jesus' Gospel” all heresies
exposed when He came, because the devil had perverted the truth that God sent
to earth. Yes! and He came with a mission, his mission was to expose heresies
and establish truth. Any true man of God will expose heresies, it doesn’t
matter where it is, He will establish
truth.
The very mission of the apostles and their writing of the epistles was to
combat heresies. I cite 2nd Peter 2nd chapter
right down through that chapter it is a battle between truth and heresy.
I cite brother Paul, most of his
epistles were written to combat heresies, and establish truth. And he was so
bold in what he was doing. He said “Though we, or an angel from heaven
preach any other gospel let him be accursed” Gal 1: 8-9 “Another gospel” is Heresy and I say any man who tries to add to this
message, and change the message of William Branham let him be accursed as a
heretic! The very book of Acts in itself was a battle between right and
wrong. I cite the book of Jude, he was bold in his teachings. He said, “contend
for the faith which was once delivered unto saints.” Jude 3. 'Contend' means
to do battle, it means to fight. “For there are certain men 'Heretics' who have
crept in unawares” under the
message “ordained to this condemnation”
it means serpent seed children of the devil! Heretics born for a certain
purpose, as Judas was born for that certain purpose to pervert the Word of God.
If that is not sufficient I cite history, it tells you about Irenaeus against
heresies, and there are chapters and chapters about “Irenaeus against
heresies.” He was the second messenger to the church ages; did he write against
heresies?(Congregation says Amen!)
Are we writing against heresies? Then,
this is Bethel against heresies. This is Bruce against heresies, this is Barrow
against heresies, this is Sookdeo against heresies, this is Chandler against
heresies and the different Ministers. We are preaching against heresies, we are
writing against heresies and Irenaeus is our brother!
You say, Preacher, you are quoting
history. Don’t behave dumb! Paul wrote
against heresies. Didn’t brother Peter write against heresies? Yes! and Brother
Branham wrote against heresies in the church age book that came out against
heresies more than any book written in the world. It came against the Pope, it
came against the Methodists, it came against the Pentecostals, it came against
almost every heresy, and if Brother Branham were still alive, he would be
preaching against heresies around the message. Glory to God! I am saying that every true servant that God
sends is to expose heresies. When God sent the reformers, did they
expose heresies? Martin Luther nailed up 90 theses on the Catholic church door,
he was exposing heresies. Did
Wesley come against heresy? OhYes! and so did William Branham. They
preached and they wrote against heresies.
The entire message of William Branham,
was to expose heresies, because when he arrived here, the Laodiciean age was
overcome by heresies, and it was overtaken by heretics, then the job of William
Branham, was to expose heretics and all their heresies. But since he has gone on, heretics brought
up heresies based on the message. Then there must be true gifts upon the earth,
to expose those heresies. We
Ministers and saints of like precious faith expose heresies and establish truth
by preaching, writing, electronics waves of radios, cassettes and video. We
stand upon a solid foundation of all the Word of God, that God himself
complimented. “ This thou hast, that thou
hatest the deeds of the Nicolatians, which I also hate” Rev:2:6
We have the compliments of God for hating heresies and for coming against
heresies. We hate heresies just as God hates heresies. So we have a compliment
from God for coming against heresies.
This message is going across the world and let the devil know. We stand
behind this message and the “Exposition of all Heresies” Amen!
May the churches, ministers and saints, who contend for the faith be
reminded of a most recent example of one, who was overcomed by the destructive
power of heresies .
A young man, ambitious, smart, with a
wonderful personality, God having delivered him from heretical teachings,
denounced the same in no uncertain terms by his testimonies on tapes, books and
newsletters, but failed to cut clear from heretics and was again entangled by
the yoke of bondage, heresies, private interpretations, doctrines of devils and
another gospel partly based upon the Message of the hour. He now confesses,
that after fourteen months of hearing the truth, he was unable to empty his
soul from the teachings of his former pastor. Such is the power of a
heresy and a heretic! This
bewitched soul in a desperate effort to be reinstated under those heretical
teachings is writing letters of repentance, to churches and ministries, for
testifying against such damnable heresies.
It’s a total impossible task that he has undertaken by the instructions of
the Indian Chief, through his body-guards.
His testimonies are undeniable and cannot be altered, since it was
efficiently documented in two books that are in circulation worldwide, he tries desperately to justify his chief heretic as the fulfillment of Brother Branham’s new ministry although he
formerly denounced him as Indian Chief Authority, white horse rider,
interpreter of the trumpets , 7th Seal and 7 Trumpets, Son of Man Revealed , The Second Coming of
Christ, fulfilling the Joshua
Commission, and several other heretical bewitchments. He has returned to his
vomit.
God forewarned the church about the fall of this man, calling his name
before he showed signs of his deceit,
hypocrises and lies against his own conscience.
May the Lord have mercy upon his soul is
our prayer, for his writings have helped many around the world thanks to his
former efforts and service to God but it was necessary that he be dismissed
from the House of God as a traitor to the cause of Christ and eternal life, as
prophesied of him. (Titus 3:10-11 1 Cor. 5) Thus he is no longer a representative in any
respect of defectors assembly publication or Bethel (The House of God)
Now in
conclusion! I therefore with full assurance of faith charge these magnificent men
of God to preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove,
rebuke exort, with all long suffering and doctrine, for the time is come when
they the followers of the message of Mal.4 are not enduring sound doctrine, but
has heaped to themselves heretical teachers, because they have itching ears.
And they have turned their ears away from the truth, unto fables. Heresies
based upon the message of the hour. But we should earnestly contend, do battle
for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints by William Branham
(Mal:4:5-6)
“As
the Word came to the Prophets under the law, so the Word came to the Apostles
under grace”
Amos 3:7-8 - "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath
roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but
prophesy?"
Revelation 2:1 - "Unto the angel of the church of
Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right
hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;"
Revelation 3:14 - "And unto the angel of the church of
the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true
witness, the beginning of the creation of God;"
I am Dalton Bruce. We're approaching another heresy, and a very
complex one. Very complicated heresy. And I believe that this heresy has many
thousands of people bound. This states, I quote: "As the Word came to the prophets under the law, so the Word came to the
apostles under grace.” Compliments “Prophetic Revelation” from a book
entitled, “Speak the word,” from Singapore via Arizona.
This heresy is saying that
Amos 3:7 is limited to the Old Testament, where God uses one prophet to bring
the Revelation to a certain age or generation. That Amos 3:7 is limited to the
Old Testament where one Prophet receives the revelation for the age. It applies
only to the Old Testament and not the New Testament. It states that New Testament order is to bring the Word by a group of apostles to the church, and
not by an Old Testament order of Amos 3:7. The revelation for the apostolic age,
came to the Church collectively and progressively over a period of time by
several apostles. This is evident by the twenty-six epistles written in the New
testament by the apostles. As a result
of this new order, gifted apostles can add to the message of the hour. They can
add to the message of Brother Branham (Malachi
4:5-6, Revelation 3:14). They can also add to the written Word of God, because the written Word of God is
the letter, but revelation
that is coming from God is in
the spirit and it comes straight from the Logos,
Christ, who is now upon the face of the earth personified.
Therefore the Seven thunders that were not revealed by the Apostle Branham
(only called a Prophet) must be revealed
by seven Apostles. All these heresies are hooked up in one. That is why
I used the term complex heresy.
For a little evaluation of
this heresy, let us look this heresy in it's face. What is it trying to
achieve? What is it trying to bring out? What are the motives and objectives of
this heresy and the heretics that preach such heresy? It's a complex heresy,
deceptive, that has it's roots and foundation in the misinterpretation of Amos
3:7.
This heresy is presenting to
us an order of the New Testament, and to present this New Testament order of
God bringing his spiritual revelation to the church, this heresy is doing away
with God's Old Testament order - Amos 3:7.
The only way that this
heresy can flourish and make any headway amongst the people of God, amongst
message believers, is first to destroy Amos 3:7. Therefore the misinterpretation of Amos 3:7 is the foundation that this heresy
is based upon, it is the roots. Anybody that is bound by this heresy must go
back to the simplicity of the Bible, the simplicity of the message, the
simplicity of the understanding of Amos 3:7, in order to obtain their
deliverance.
This heresy here, when speaking of the revelation coming to a group of
apostles for New Testament times, evident by twenty-six epistles, looks very
convincing and it further states that there were no Prophets in the New
Testament system, and God never called any one of the apostles,
"prophets."
So this heresy is attacking the foundational order of the scripture, in God
bringing the revelation by his prophet to the age. I want you to clearly
understand what this heresy is saying. This
heresy is saying that Amos 3:7, where God uses one man to bring the revelation
for the age, is done away with, and in the New Testament God used a group of
Apostles to bring the revelation to the age in a collective manner,
progressively, which means that the revelation did not come altogether
to one man, but it came collectively, over a period of time, and different
apostles got parts of this revelation, and bringing
them together through twenty-six epistles formed a complete revelation.
I defy this heresy! We defy this
heresy! How many say we defy this heresy? (Congregation says amen)
The evidence that is given
for this heresy is the twenty-six epistles that were written in the New
Testament which were all written by apostles. Now this is very diabolical, very cunning. I must take my time and
attack this satanic heresy. This is not just something to hit over the
head. Thousands of people are hanging their souls upon this heresy. This heresy, brothers and sisters, is
master of all heresies, because it attacks the very foundation of the Bible, it
attacks the very foundation of every message that God ever sent in the New
Testament, and, automatically, it attacks the very message of William Branham.
It attacks the very Bible system, the unchangeable system and order of
God, to bring revelation to mankind, this heresy has blatantly and cunningly
attacked the message of the hour
brought by William Branham. It cunningly attacked William Branham
himself and his claims to prophethood. This heresy is attacking Malachi
4:5&6, where it is stated, “Behold I send unto you Elijah the
prophet.” It is attacking Revelation 3:14, which states, ”Unto
the angel of the church of the Laodiceans.” It is attacking Revelation 10: 7:
“But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to
sound,” when “HE” shall begin to sound, “the mystery of God should be finished,
as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.” It is attacking Amos 3:7 and trying to do away with Amos 3:7, the
very foundation of the Bible, the very foundation of the message, the very
foundation that William Branham based his message upon.
This heresy and the heretics
are trying to do away with the very foundation of the entire Church. "Surely the Lord God will do nothing but
he revealeth his secrets unto his servants the prophets." We clearly state here that Amos 3:7 is God's order. We clearly state
that this is God's established system for both Old Testament and the New
Testament. We disagree with this heresy that limits Amos 3:7 to the Old
Testament and has formulated a new system and a new order to bring revelation
in the New Testament to the church by a group of men.
The messenger himself, William
Branham, established his message in no uncertain terms, upon the foundation of Amos
3:7, Malachi 4:5&6, Revelation 3:14 and Revelation 10:7, beyond a
shadow of a doubt. I could bring quotations to you here today, but the
quotations that support the statement that I just made are so numerous that it
would take me about five years to quote William Branham concerning Amos
3:7 and God's order of bringing divine revelation to the church. It's
all hooked up in Amos 3:7. There is no shadow of a doubt from the church age
book, from the seven seal book, and there is no shadow of a doubt from all the
messages that William Branham preached, that Amos 3:7 is alive for our
day, alive for our age, and it was applicable both in the Old Testament and the
New. Therefore I will not waste my time and my breath to bring all those
quotations, for if a man could study eleven hundred tapes and so blatantly
attack Amos 3:7 and all the various scriptures that support a one-man
revelation for the Age, something is wrong with him. He is highly ambitious
like his father Lucifer. There is much ambition that is involved here and we
are about to identify this spirit in the Bible with its ambition.
I clearly state here that Amos
3:7 is God's order, His established order, His established system for
both Old Testament and New Testament. The messenger established that in his
message in no uncertain terms. That's the foundation of the entire Bible, and
the foundation of his entire message.
I quote the messenger
briefly. If the messenger says the same thing a thousand times and I quote to
you once what he says, and there are nine hundred and ninety-nine other quotes that
are saying the same thing, if I quote the nine hundred and ninety-nine, and you
are born to be a believer, my brothers and sisters, that one quotation is
sufficient. And if you are born to be an unbeliever, though I quote the
thousand quotations, you will still be
an unbeliever, for I say, "Search the message for in it you think you have
eternal life and it is that which testifies of God's system."
I quote William Branham and
I am laying emphasis here upon God's order, God's system of Amos
3:7 that is still applicable to the New Testament, applicable in our
day, applicable in our age, verified by William Branham beyond a shadow of a
doubt.
“ It was in the end time period that the Seven Thunders of Jesus came
forth, Revelation 10:3&4. What was in those seven thunders no one knows but
we need to know and it will take a prophet to get the revelation.”
(Exposition of the Seven Church
Ages, page 324 )
My emphasis here is not thunders; my emphasis is God's order.
“Because God has no other way of bringing out his Scriptural
revelations except by a prophet”. My emphasis again, “because God has no other way of bringing
out scriptural revelations except by a prophet. The Word always came by a
prophet and always will. That this is the law of God is evident by even a
casual search of the scriptures.”
This quotation alone exposes this heresy as from the pit of hell
and the darkest abyss of Satan, and not to be recognized as a revelation from
God. May I quote a second time?
“Because God has no other
way of bringing out his scriptural revelations except by a prophet. The Word
always came by a prophet and always will. That this is the law of God is
evident by even a casual search of the scriptures.”
“You CAN'T go under a group of men. I defy any time that it ever went,
God never did use a group of man. He uses one man.” (End time Evangelism
62-0603. Vol. ID, No.5).
We defy that God uses groups
of man.
“You CAN'T go under a group of
man. I defy any time that it ever went, God never did use a group of man, he
uses one man, exactly, one man at a time. Two men got two opinions. One man,
exactly right. EVERY dispensation it's been that way, all the way down
through.”
Let me re-emphasize that. The prophet of God now starts speaking
about dispensation. He says God uses one man at a time, he never did use a
group, and then he concluded that every dispensation it's been that way, all
down the way through. And if you are not familiar with that word, dispensation,
all that it means is an age; all through the ages, all through the
dispensations. We had a dispensation of Adam, we had a dispensation of Abel; we
had an age or a dispensation of Noah; we had a dispensation of Abraham; we had
a dispensation of Moses. God's order is to bring revelation to the age by one
man. This is clearly understood from Church
Ages page 324 and it is clearly understood from End Time Evangelism, page 27, and there are many other quotations
that I could give here where God does not use groups of men, but he uses an
individual.
Old testament examples of
God applying this one-man system and applying Amos 3:7 is that God himself
brought the Word in Eden and Adam was the first Prophet, and the Word of the
Lord came to Adam in Eden, and the Word
said that thou shall not eat of this tree, the day you eat of this tree,
you shall surely die. Be sure to tell your wife that.
The Word of the Lord came to Adam and by faith Abel offered the right
sacrifice. ( Hebrews 11). It was a divine revelation that God gave to Abel
of what kind of a sacrifice to bring to the altar. And Cain refused to accept
Abel's revelation because he thought that he was equal with Abel and God should
speak to him personally also. He failed to listen to the Prophet Abel and he
perished. God rejected his sacrifice.
There arose another dispensation.
That next dispensation was in the days of Noah, and God found one man, and by
that one man he brought a message to that generation and everybody that did not
hear that prophet with that message perished. You were going to listen to
Noah's message and get into the ark or perish. "As it was in the days of
Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the
Son of Man even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of Man is
revealed." Luke 17:26-30.
One man, and the world failed to hear that one man called Noah and they
perished. There arose another man in another dispensation, his name was Moses. Amos
3:7 is applied in Adam, applied in Abel, applied in Noah, applied in
Abraham. There were a lot of men upon the face of the earth but God spoke to
one man and he said, “Come out of thy father's house and from
amongst thy kindred and I will show you a land,” and Abraham followed
God. He was one man. That's another dispensation.
Another dispensation was in
the days of Moses, and let me linger here a little while. God called one man,
and for over four hundred years, Israel, God's children had to wait upon that
promised deliverer, promised through the prophecy of Abraham. They suffered in
bondage in the land of Egypt until that one that was prophesied came on the
scene. While Moses was growing up the children of Israel were suffering and
Moses came on the scene. And God only spoke to Moses in a burning bush of Fire.
Not to all the Rabbis, not to all the priest, not to all the great men. He
called Moses and He said, “I will send thee to deliver the children of Israel”.
One man, Amos 3:7. If you wanted
to leave Egypt land and enter the promised land, you had to follow Moses or
perish.
I want to
call your attention to something here that identifies this heresy and identify
this spirit right in your Bible. Moses led an exodus out of Egypt land, and Amos
3:7 was in operation where God was speaking to one man and leading two
million people to the promised land. But there arose ambitious spirits, and I
am identifying this heresy with men that arose, and their statement was, Numbers
12:2 - “And they said, Hath the LORD
indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard
it”
Numbers 16:1-3 - “Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath,
the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of
Peleth, sons of Reuben, took [men]: And they rose up before Moses, with certain
of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly,
famous in the congregation, men of renown: And they gathered themselves
together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much
upon you, seeing all the congregation [are] holy, every one of them, and the
LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation
of the LORD?”
Ambitious spirits! That is where this heresy is
identified. This spirit that wants to say that God is also using groups of men
on the same level and on the same basis as William Branham, our Moses today with
the pillar of fire. This is that same spirit identified in your Scriptures.
It's the same spirit that followed that pillar of fire down there, and later
arose against Moses.
It's the same spirit in this modern generation, in this 21st
century, because of ambition, that is saying, “Hath God only spoken by William
Branham? He hath not only spoken by
William Branham, He hath spoken by us, a bunch of Apostles also. You lying
heretic! You have the spirit of Korah, Abiram and Dathan, and the two hundred
and fifty princes upon you. You're anointed by the same spirit that was in the
wilderness. This is the same spirit that is writing these books called
“Prophetic Revelation.” This is the same spirit that wants to exalt itself
above the messenger. This is the same spirit that wants to attack the
foundation of the entire Bible. This is the same spirit that wants to attack
the foundation of the very message. This is the same spirit that wants to do
away with Amos 3:7, but Amos 3:7 will live on, it is for
today. It was for every dispensation.
We identify this spirit,
it's a spirit of Jannes and Jambres that withstood Moses. This spirit does not
only want to be recognized as adding revelation to the message or new light to
the message. No! this is not the only ambition of this spirit. This spirit has
the same ambition as it had in the wilderness, which is to contradict Moses.
Those spirits that arose in the wilderness did not only say that they were
bringing new light, but were contradicting the message of Moses. And I state
right here, that the contradiction that those false prophets, ambitious
preachers, were bringing was on the promises of the hour. That is how you identify a heretic today;
that is how you identify the Korahs and the Abirams, and the Dathans, and the
two hundred and fifty princes. You identify them when they start confessing
unbelief in entering the Promised Land, Capstone, Outpouring of the Holy Ghost.
They arose to stone Moses. They arose in the desert and said that Egypt land was
the Promised Land; it was the land flowing with milk and honey. They arose in
the wilderness and blamed Moses for bringing them and their children in the
wilderness to slay them. It's the same spirit.
This heresy is contrary to Amos 3:7. This heresy is
contrary to Malachi 4 and his beliefs. This spirit is contrary to the Message
of the hour. It has totally contradicted the Message of the hour. It has
contradicted the very foundation of the Bible; contradicted the very Message of
the hour; not only add light, (what
they are calling light), but it changed the message. It perverted the message.
It attacked the very foundation of the entire Bible. It attacked the very
foundation of the very message. It has contradicted the teachings of William
Branham who made use of Amos 3:7 throughout his message
thousands of times, stating that God always uses one man for the age, for the
dispensation to bring a revelation to the people.
Therefore, this heresy is from the deepest abyss of
hell. The propagators are heretics,
false anointed ones, Korah, Abiram and Dathan in
modern times, false apostles who have crept into the Message. And if they cannot repent of this doctrine,
it proves who their father is, because they abide not in the truth. And
when a man slips out of the truth of the Message of the hour and you correct
him and he fails to repent, it shows that he is doing the deeds of his father,
and the deeds of the devil, is to pervert the Word of God. They cannot continue
in the Word of God.
The second part of this heresy,
“B”, states:
“God uses groups of
Apostles, evident by the Epistles”
It is one thing to believe something, the next is to
prove it, and especially when
heresies come up and challenge your faith, and challenge your revelation that
you took for granted all the time. You've got to know where you are standing.
Now, this second part of
this heresy is very slick, and they are citing twenty-six epistles to show that
God never used a prophet in the New Testament times. In the Apostolic age, all
that God used were apostles, therefore the days of prophets was done away with
and God only used apostles, and those apostles wrote twenty six-epistles:
Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Romans, Corinthians and on down. What is your
answer, as Ministers, to this heresy?
Study the Word to show thyself approved, a workman rightly dividing the
Word of truth. And that is what we are doing here, we are studying the Word to
show ourselves approved, rightly dividing the Word of God.
This heresy states that Amos 3:7, where God uses one man to bring the revelation for the
age, is an Old Testament order. But then in the New Testament time, since the New
Covenant came into existence, God did away with Amos 3:7 one man bringing
the revelation to the age, and now he is using a group of Apostles and that is
his standard, that is his order for the New Testament. Therefore twenty six
Epistles were written by the Apostles and brought forth a collective revelation
over a period of time.
It also openly stated that there were no prophets in
the New Testament time, and the evidence of this is that
there are five "ascension gifts" and the first one is an Apostle, and
the second is a Prophet. So when speaking of the five-fold Ministry and the
ascension gifts, Prophets played a secondary role, and the Apostles were placed
first, therefore the Apostles had the headship as a group of men. Further-more,
when problems arose in the Church in Asia Minor, the Apostles there sent to the
Apostles in Jerusalem to settle the issue. Another proof is that the Apostles
collectively had to settle the issue. What are you going to do when you face a
heresy like this? Do you see how cunning that is?
Now, I cannot be angry with my brothers and sisters
in the Message for being caught up in a heresy like this, because it is
cunning, it is diabolical, seemingly with plenty of evidence. People who had not been
exposed to the Message, hearing a heresy like this for the first time, and
heretics laying that kind of foundation on virgin soil, by the thousands, and
possibly by the millions, people accept that as the teachings of Brother
Branham; accept that as the teachings of the Bible; accept that as revelation
from Christ veiled in human flesh, personified upon the face of the earth as
head of these seven men.
How are these poor Africans
going to distinguish the wrong and the right of it? How are these poor people
in India going to distinguish the right and the wrong of this doctrine, when
you have a great intellectual giant that is very fluent in his speech like
Lucifer himself, who could speak and write, and have the assets to send forth
these kinds of devilish doctrines throughout the world?When you have people
that have now come to this Message with the idea that everybody that preaches
the Message are God's servants. Everybody that preaches this Message are not
God's servants. Some are of the devil! Some are literal seeds of the serpent!
Some are incarnated devils! Some came from hell and they are going back to
hell! Certain are ordained to this condemnation and they were allowed to creep
into the Message. (Jude 1: 1-4)
This heresy says that the
New Testament order is that God uses a group of men, evident by the twenty-six
Epistles, and none of these Apostles were called Prophets, all that they were
called were Apostles. Proof and evidence is Ephesians 4:11, 1 Corinthians 12:
Firstly apostles, secondarily prophets.
This heresy is saying that the New Testament
Prophets were not like the Old Testament prophets.
They were not the absolute, but rather secondary prophets, Agabus and others.
They were not bringing a message for the age, but the Message was coming
collectively to Peter, James, John, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul and
Barnabas. It's a cunningly devised
fable, heretical to the core, deceptive to the core, damaging to our African
brothers, to our European brothers; damaging to the world; attacking the foundation of the very
Bible; attacking the very foundation of the Message; attacking the very
foundation of the Word of God that we preach.
A heresy is a deceptive thing.
The power of that heresy is a damaging thing. It destroys the souls of mankind.
This heresy concludes, that
each one of the Epistles and each one of the Apostles brought part of the revelation
over a period of time, and when put together it formed a complete revelation
for that age. Yet, in doing that, the Bible was not completed. Yet in these Apostles bringing parts of
revelation to write the Bible in the New Testament, the Bible was an incomplete
book. The proof of it is that the seals
had to be opened. Now that the seals are opened, the Logos himself has come
down, personified in a man, and that Logos personified in a man is greater than
the written Word, for the Logos was first and then the written Word came after.
Therefore this Logos has more power than the written Word. Therefore the Logos
is receiving divine revelation and can bring revelations that can be added to
the Message and added to the Bible. You talk about a cunning, diabolical
heretic that can destroy millions of souls by his heresies.
Isn't that, my brother, the
Pope's doctrine? Isn't that identified with the Pope's doctrine, that the Pope
and the Catholic Church are above the written Word of God. It is the same spirit
that is upon the Pope of Rome, that built the Catholic Church in 325 AD, which
states that the Pope is above the Word and the Pope is infallible? And it's not
what the Bible says; it's what the Church says. That's the law of the Catholic
Church. It's not what the Bible says, but what the Pope says. He is the church.
It's what the church says, not what the Bible says.
And the Pope and his words
were so infallible and so much greater than the written Word that Catholics are
not supposed to read their Bible, and they took away the Bible from the people
for a thousand years, and outlawed the Bible, punishable by death if one
scripture verse was found in your house. Isn't that the same spirit? This
spirit is saying, “never mind what the message says, never mind what William
Branham said, never mind what the Bible said, it's what the Logos says. Isn't
that a catholic spirit? Isn't that a Pope spirit? Isn't that a Vicar spirit?
Isn't that a beast speaking, from the pit of hell? Without any shame, without
any restraint, this heresy and the heretics that believe this, contradicts
Brother Branham, not only in these teachings, but many others that I cannot
bring out. And one of the outstanding teachings is that if a woman is divorced,
and has a living husband, and he is unsaved, she could be remarried.
That is in direct
contradiction to the teachings of Jesus, direct contradiction to the teachings
of William Branham and his Message. It is in direct contradiction to Romans
7:3, which says: “ So then if, while [her] husband liveth, she be married to another
man, she shall be called an adulteress.”
However, that is not our
subject. Our subject is to shut the mouth of this heretic. Our job here, my
brothers and sisters, is to shut up the mouth of this Cretian prophet. Brother
Paul said their mouths must be stopped, for they subvert whole houses, they
subvert Europe, they subvert Africa, they subvert India with their corruption,
and their mouths must be stopped. I am saying that the Old Testament order of Amos
3:7, where God use one man at a time, bringing forth a revelation to an
age still stands for today. And I will give you up-to-date proof right now. God
himself knowing that that system will continue from Genesis to Revelation, and
be applicable for our day, written by Malachi in Malachi 4:5&6, “Behold I send
unto you Elijah the Prophet”.
How are you going to answer
this? How
are you going to come out of this tangle if you were those Africans, and
Indians, and some Chinese where the message has gone on now into China? How are
you going to answer these heretics? My beloved, as much as you know this
Message, you needed somebody with divine revelation to expose those heresies
and bring deliverance to you, if you were caught up in those heresies.
A heresy is a deceptive thing. The power of that heresy is a
damaging thing. It destroys the souls of mankind.
I am saying that the Old
Testament order of Amos 3:7 where God uses one man at a time, bringing forth a
revelation to an age still stands for today. And I will give you up-to-date
proof right now. God himself knowing that system would continue from Genesis to
Revelation and be applicable for our day, wrote by Malachi 4:5&6, “Behold I send
unto you Elijah the Prophet !" 'A P-R-O-P-H-E-T' not 'A-P-O-S-T-L-E-S'.
Revelation 10:7 speaks of an individual to bring the Message to the age.
That is sufficient for you and me.
Behold I send unto you
Elijah the Prophet. Right there in our Bible it is prophesying that God will
send an absolute in the end time before He burns the earth, and that absolute
for the end time, to bring forth a revelation to turn the heart of the children
back to the Pentecostal fathers, will be a prophet called Elijah the prophet. God
knowing that system still exists and is still applicable for the New Testament,
prophesied by Malachi four hundred years before Christ, and stated there, “Behold
the day cometh that shall burn as an oven," and in the fifth and
sixth verse, “Behold I will send you Elijah
the Prophet before the coming of the great and the dreadful day of the
Lord."
God knowing that that system of Amos 3:7 still holds
good for today, even to the end time, He placed there, Malachi 4:5&6. Then something is definitely wrong with your
heresy, Mr. Heretic. And your heresy has become so anointed of the devil that
you shut your eyes to Malachi 4:5&6.
Your heresy has taken you out to the deep end so far that you fail to come to
the simplicity of the scripture that quotes “Behold I will send unto you Elijah the prophet."
If your system was right,
where God uses groups of men, the scriptures had to read, “Behold I send unto
you groups of Apostles, behold I send unto you twelve Apostles with the twelve
foundations stones.” But Malachi 4 is
in direct contradiction to your heresy, and your heresy is in direct
contradiction to Malachi the prophet. Your heresy is in direct contradiction to
God and His system. Your heresy is in direct contradiction to the entire Bible
and to the Message of the hour because that is the way William Branham
explained Malachi 4:5&6, and he laid emphasis upon the fact throughout his
Message, that Malachi 4:5&6 is not a group of man but a one man show.
In the days of William
Branham, just before he came, there was a bunch of men that arose, and they were
preaching a doctrine that Elijah the Prophet is a group of men anointed by the
spirit of Elijah. And Brother Branham exposed that as heretical, satanic and of
the devil. And we are not relying only upon what Brother Branham said, we are
relying upon the Bible. Behold I send unto you Elijah the prophet, not “the
Apostles” “the prophet”! And “HE” not
them, “HE” shall turn the hearts of the children back to the fathers. What are
we going to do with that?
I defy this heresy, and the
simplicity of the Word is going to destroy this heresy in a minute. My brothers
and sisters, Paul in the ninth chapter of the book of Acts was called as the
light to the Gentiles. And if that is vague Mr. Heretic, let me state here that
Paul was the first messenger to the first church age, and it is recorded in Revelation
2:1, “Unto the angel of the church of
Ephesus write. These things saith He that holdeth the seven stars in His
right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks.”
Your heresy is saying that God uses a bunch of apostles to bring the Message to
the early age. The early age was the apostolic age, the early age was the
Ephesian age. How many say Amen? [Congregation says, “Amen”.] And I am proving
by scriptures that the Message for that age was not directed to many Apostles,
it was directed to the angel of the Church. And unto the Apostles at Ephesus.
Did it read that? [Congregation says , “No!]
“Unto the Angel”, Is that singular? Was it a singular Message?
Was Paul called as a light to the Gentiles? Yes. It was a singular Message.
“And unto the angel of the Church”.
That one scripture put
together with Acts 9 has destroyed your heresy where it stated God uses a group
to bring a collective revelation progressively throughout the ages. That one
scripture has defied and has broken up your heresy into pieces.
You are saying that in the
apostolic age God used a bunch of apostles to bring forth the revelation for
the age,
which was the Message of the age. I am proving by the scriptures, right
in your Bible, and it's not a man saying that, it's Christ himself saying that.
It was given to one man, and the man was an angel messenger; the
revelation was given to him.
I would further prove that Paul
was the absolute. I will further prove that Bro. Paul was that man with the
Message for that hour. It takes a blind man to read the Church Ages,
where it states that Paul was the
messenger for the Ephesian Church Age and then come up with a heresy like
that. You have to be twice dead, plucked up by the roots. You have to be highly
ambitious.
Galatians 1:1 - "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither
by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the
dead;"
You heard the authority in
that voice?
Galatians 1:6-12 - “I marvel
that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ
unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and
would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven,
preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let
him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I
now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have
received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek
to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I
certify you, brethren”... This is a certified cheque. “...That
the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it
of man, neither was I taught [it], but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
I am proving to you that
Brother Paul, his office, his Ministry was the absolute for that age, that if anybody taught a
revelation contrary to the revelation that was given to Paul, the prophet
Messenger for that age, though an angel come down from heaven and contradicted
that Message, he was accursed (Anathema and Maranatha,) which means that you
were accursed unto the day of the coming of Christ, if you changed the message
of the messenger of that age. And any man that tries to change the Message of
William Branham, making it say what it does not say, is Anathema and Maranatha.
So, I am asking, Mr. Heretic,
where is your bunch of apostles? Where is your group of Apostles that brought a
collective revelation. I am showing you that the revelation did not come
collectively by a bunch of apostles, but it was addressed to one man, and that
man was very defiant about it, in so much that he said that no man could change
that revelation. Not even I nor Barnabas is able to change that revelation,
because the revelation was given to me by Jesus Christ. Why was the Message
given to Paul by Jesus Christ? He was one of the stars in the hand of God.
(Revelation 1:16)
Galatians 2:7-9 - "But
contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed
unto me, as [the gospel] of the circumcision [was] unto Peter; (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to
the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the
Gentiles:) And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars,
perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the
right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto
the circumcision."
I Corinthians 3:10 & 11 - "According to the grace
of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the
foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he
buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid,
which is Jesus Christ."
Brother Paul said that he
was the wise masterbuilder. Out of all those apostles, Brother Paul was the
wise masterbuilder. He said I have laid the foundation. The gospel of William
Branham is a restoration of the Gospel of Paul the Apostle, the first Messenger
to the church age, and all of the redeemed are resting on that. When Brother
Branham was caught up in the translation, he said, “I preach exactly what Paul
preached”, and the whole of heaven said, “We are resting on that.” He was the
wise master builder.
To prove to you that there
was an absolute, that there was a prophet Messenger, who was responsible for
that age, to bring the revelation for the age, completely, there were certain
apostles that arose and challenged the authority of Brother Paul. And then
Brother Paul said, “I will glory.” He said, “Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are
they Israelites? So am I. Are they Apostles? So am I. And on down he went. And
in 2Corinthians
11: 13-14, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is
transformed into an angel of light." And, it is the same thing
today, as when they challenged Brother Paul, so are these false apostles today,
challenging the authority of William Branham, changing the message of William
Branham, changing the very standard of his message. Anything that would
challenge the authority of the vindicated messenger is a false apostle. And if
Brother Branham was here today, he would say, “Such are false apostles,
deceitful workers, transforming themselves into angels of light." Is that
right? And it's no marvel that Satan himself is transformed into an angel of
light, and his ministers into ministers of righteousness.
Now when that first
messenger in that first age came up, did you have false apostles claiming to be
the authority of God? Claiming to be a bunch of men that God was using too?
It's the same spirit today.
The same spirit that arose
under that messenger, claiming that they were a bunch of apostles bringing
higher light and higher revelation,
adding to the message, and claiming to have deeper revelation than
Brother Paul, is the same kind of Apostles we have today, and Brother Paul
declared them to be false apostles and deceitful workers transforming
themselves into angels of light.
Now, I am going to destroy
this heresy with the simplicity of the teachings of the church ages. Every
message, for two thousand years now, starting from the days of Brother Paul as
the first messenger, right down to the age that we are living in, every message to every age was directed
to a singular messenger. I am asking this Mr. Heretic, that said God changed
his system and was using a new system a group of men. Why did Christ have only
seven stars in His hand? Why was He holding seven stars in his hand, and
why did he bring the message to every age to one of those stars? That alone, proves
that the plan and program of God continued from the Old Testament, Amos 3:7,
one man at a time. Yes! And it came over from John the Baptist; that was
one man for the dispensation. It changed over from John to Jesus; one man at a
time. It changed from Jesus to Paul, and it changed to Irenaeus, and it changed
to Martin; it changed to Columba, it changed to Luther, it changed to Wesley,
and Branham is the Messenger for this age. Oh Yes! Seven stars in the right
hand of God. The first star was Paul, and the last star was William Branham,
and that system continued to the day in
which we live, Revelation 3:14 - “Unto the
angel of the church of the Laodiceans." Are we living in the
Laodicean age? Then there was one messenger for the age in which we are living.
This heretic might say that all
these seven stars were apostles, because it does not speak of prophets, it says
angel messenger. I have news for you. When God spoke to this messenger to the
Laodicean age, there was another scripture in the Bible, to verify that
messenger as Elijah the prophet, and that is Malachi 4, showing you that
William Branham was an apostle indeed, but he was also an Old Testament
prophet and a New Testament prophet. And, if this would not stumble you, William
Branham was more than a prophet, for Jesus said of the forerunner, John the
Baptist, that he was more than a prophet. Therefore he was a special messenger,
and he was the greatest prophet born from a woman. And if Jesus said that of
John the Baptist he would say even more about William Branham today, who came
to forerun the second coming of Jesus Christ .He was a special messenger.
I am proving that it came from John the Baptist,
even unto Jesus. From Jesus unto Paul, and it came right down. You say, what
about the apostle Peter? I have news for you again. The ministry was divided
with two headships, one to the circumcision and the other to the uncircumcision (Galatians 2:4-10). Is
that right? And God himself placed it in such a way, and all the apostles
recognized that the ministry of Paul was to the uncircumcision, which were to
the Gentiles, and the ministry of Peter was to the Jews, and they all
recognized it. He said that's the grace of God that was given to me, and the
grace of God that was given to Peter. All that it means is that these were
two special ministers, apostles and prophets, and one was to the Jews and one
was to the Gentiles, but they had the exact same revelation. Revelation
3:14, Malachi 4:5&6, Revelation 10:7 all speaks of an individual to
bring the message of the age. That is sufficient for you and me.
The third part of this
heresy: I
will just brief you on it see how diabolical. The third part of this
heresy states that we can add to the Message, we can add to the Bible because
of this “new order,” of a “collective revelation,” and progressive revelation,
and since the days of William Branham, when he came to the earth as the first
Apostle, then there are other Apostles who are still bringing forth the revelation. Therefore, they
could add to the Message and add to the
Bible.
I defy this heresy; because the Bible says if
you add to it, the plagues that are written in it shall be added to you, and if
you take from the Word of God then your part shall be taken out of the Book of
Life. That is the scripture.
Now, to show you how
diabolical this heresy is, whenever a man preaches a doctrine like that,
brothers and sisters, he leaves the church without a standard to judge who is
right and who is wrong. Don't you see
it?
How many knows that William
Branham laid emphasis on the Word, from Genesis to Revelation, as being our
absolute, and anything contrary to that is the devil? Even because he looked to
the Bible as the standard. Now, but this heretic, by his heresy, has put a
sword into the hearts of the believers that are deceived by him because he
has taken away the standard, which the standard is the Bible; the standard
is the Message; the standard is the revelation by which any prophet is judged,
any revelation is judged, and any heresy is judged.
And when a man would come and
say that revelations are still coming by gifted Apostles, and could be added to
the message, he has taken away your standard to judge whether he is a false
prophet or a true prophet, a false apostle or a true apostle. He has taken
away that standard.
I am saying that this heresy is a "heresy of heresies"
cunning and diabolical, therefore we conclude that this heresy came from the
darkest abyss of hell, from the throne of Satan himself, by false anointed ones
in the end time, to try to deceive the very elect; but the elect is built upon the
Word of God and she has an antenna down inside. She will only hear the voice of
God, and the voice of God is His Word and the Message of the hour.
Have you ever seen such a diabolical
and cunning heresy like this? My brothers and sisters, we detest this
heresy. Come on; let me hear your voices. [Congregation responds with
shouts of Amen!]
We defy this heresy! This is the deed of the
Nicolaitans. We hate this heresy
and God hates this heresy. May God send deliverance by this message to our
brothers and sisters in Africa and in Europe and in the United States, and
throughout the world to set the captives free. May the Lord come soon!
There is going to be an
outpouring of the Holy Ghost so that even if these messages don't reach
the people, there is going to be an
outpouring of the Holy Ghost very soon. Yes! And they are going to hear these
same things in power and in
demonstration of the Holy Spirit. Paul
speaks of the signs of an Apostle. He said, but the sign of an Apostle was
wrought in me by signs wonders and miracles, the very seal of my apostle-ship
are ye in the Lord. And I am challenging these false Apostles that have arisen
under the Message, I am challenging them to show the sign of an Apostle.
There is a way that an
Apostle is identified. There was a way that William Branham, who was an
Apostle, was identified. All the claims that you could make as heretical
Apostles, yet the signs of the Apostles are not working in you.
All that is working in you
is intellectualism, and that takes you and ties you in with the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, and makes the serpent your brother, that deceived
Eve by intellectualism on the message of the hour. Yes!
But the signs of the
Apostles must be shown in any Apostle that will arise upon the face of the
earth.
In conclusion, I believe that the world is getting ready to see a
bunch of Apostles, but that does not change the fact that we had one Prophet
messenger to the seventh Church Age.
In this age, the world is
getting ready to see a bunch of New Testament Apostles, but not one of them will have their own Message. No! They are going
to be based upon the Message that William Branham brought.
And let me clarify the fact of twenty-six Epistles
being the evidence. Every
Apostle that wrote any Epistle, Jude, Peter, or any of the rest of them, had to
be based upon the Message that was given to Brother Paul. It had to dovetail
with the revelation and the Message that was given to the Messenger of the age
called Brother Paul. And he summarized it in so many words, “ though we or an
angel come from heaven” in other words, I or any of the other Apostles or an
angel from heaven come and speak any other revelation unto you, let him be
accursed.
That makes the revelation of
Brother Paul the absolute for the age, and all the Epistles that were written
had to dovetail with the message that Brother Paul was bringing. And likewise,
any preacher that will preach or write any kind of a book, no matter how many
signs and wonders he may show, if it does not dovetail with the Message of
William Branham, it is of the devil. That shows that the standard for the first
age is the same for the last age and will continue to the end of time.
Our absolute is the Bible
and the Message of the hour, and we boldly state here that anything that
contradicts the message of William Branham is of the devil. It is heretical,
and is a heresy from hell. And even when the seven thunders are revealed it
must dovetail with the rest of the scriptures.
“And when anybody thinks that he has those seven thunders, if it don't
compare with the rest of the Word, there's something wrong. It's got to come
THUS SAITH THE LORD, for this is the Book; this is the revelation of Jesus
Christ in its entirety.” (Seals pg. 284.1963).
It must dovetail with all the scriptures when it comes. It must never
contradict the Bible, and got to dovetail with all the scriptures.
Any Messenger, any preacher,
any lay member that is anointed of God today and is speaking for God cannot
contradict the Message of William Branham. He must dovetail with the Message of
William Branham. Any preaching, any
writings, any book that is written, must dovetail with the Message of William
Branham, and if it does not, we know that it is the devil.
Therefore, my brothers and
sisters, all these prophetic revelations that contradicts the message of
William Branham are of Satan, it is of the devil, and wherever you are
throughout the world, have nothing to do with it. Flee for your lives, because
it contradicts the Message of the hour.
Go back to the simplicity of
the Message. Go back to the Message of William Branham; go back to the church
ages and the seven seals book Yes! And stay in the Message of the hour.
I call you back to the
Message of William Branham if you are caught by this heresy.
May the Lord bless your
hearts. Lift your right hand to Him. Give Him a praise offering. Thank you
Saviour. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. Thank you for Your Word. Bless be His
Words. Let the inspiration fall upon your people wherever they may hear it,
wherever they may read it; let his inspiration fall upon them. May it open
their eyes to these heresies and these heretics. Bring deliverance to your
people throughout the world we pray. We humbly thank You for your spirit here, and
we thank you for one another. Bless us all together as we pray in the Name of
Jesus Christ, for His honour and glory. Amen.
“ The seven thunders which were
not revealed in 1963 by Bro. Branham must now be revealed by seven chosen men
to give the Bride rapturing faith”.

Rev:10:3-4 - "And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion
roareth: and when he had cried, seven
thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their
voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
"
Compliments: “Prophetic
revelation” on the book called "Speak the Word" from Singapore. They returned some of their
literature to acquaint us with their teachings. I am announcing on the tape that in case this message should

This brother could be sincere, he could be honest in the way he is
thinking his motives and objectives could be correct, I do not know. All that I
am dealing with is right and wrong doctrines, and this doctrine is saying here
that seven men are to receive the seven thunders, that is plainly understood
page 34, 35 gives you that account. Also there are seven men without any faces
and facial features. One place in this book also states that the “seven men”
are actually the seven thunders, each man is a thunder. It is plainly stated
without any apology and without any shame that these seven men are the seven
thunders. The scriptural support that is given is taken from:-
Zechariah 3:8-9 -
"For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall
be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of
hosts..."
So this doctrine states,
that scripture is being fulfilled today after the Ministry of Brother Branham
and Zechariah
3:8-9. The seven eyes upon one stone that is recorded are seven men,
Apostles, that will receive the seven thunders fulfilling the trump of God to
bring the dead from the grave.
We disagree, we do not
believe that there is any scriptural foundation for this heresy. However, I
believe that this heresy is partly correct, and that is how all heresies comes.
All heresies are mixed with truth, it is based upon the message of the hour, it
is based upon the bible, but then, in that heresy there is a death seed, it is
like poison, sugar coated right around in a big ball of sugar, you don't taste
the poison but you taste the sugar.
Give a little child that ball of sugar he eats the sugar and it tastes very
nice, it is very palatable but then the poison gets down into the system and
the child dies. Now that is a heresy,
that the serpent gave to Eve and he sugar coated it and the bible said, she looked upon the fruit
and it was pleasant to the eyes and one to be desired and she took of the fruit
and she did eat. So she took that little ball of sugar not knowing the unbelief
and the heresy that was wrapped up in the little ball of sugar, it tasted sweet
in her mouth but later on it brought death.
We agree that the seven thunders was not revealed in 1963 by Brother
Branham. That part of this heresy is
very sweet. The next part of this heresy says that it must be revealed to give
the Bride rapturing faith. All that is correct, that is all together sugar we
agree. We agree that the seven thunders were not revealed to Brother Branham in
1963. We also agree that the seven thunders must be revealed for rapturing
faith, there is no doubt about that. That is right through Brother Branham's
message. The seals, almost anywhere you turn, say that rapturing faith is going
to come by the seven thunders. But we totally disagree with the conception that
seven men are to receive the revelation of the seven thunders. We totally
disagree that these seven men themselves are the seven thunders, because it is
unscriptural. Now in attacking a heresy we attack the foundation. This heresy
is built upon two scriptures Zechariah 3:8-9 and chapter 4:9-10 now
these seven men fit themselves in Zechariah 3 and Zechariah 4 as their
foundational scriptures to prove that there were seven men to come after Branham
to receive the revelation of the seven thunders. Now attacking the foundation
that this heresy is standing upon, we are more than able to destroy it. So I
challenge my hearers on tape and whoever will probably read our literature. I
challenge you to choose ye this day whom you want to believe. If you want to
believe the interpretation of Zechariah 3rd chapter and 4th
chapter from the vindicated prophet called Malachi 4 William Branham or you
want to believe some fly-by-night preacher that has arisen and tries to force
fit himself into the Word of God. I
could take the Scripture and the Message and prove that Chapter 4 of Zechariah
is not speaking of seven men to come but that they have already come. They came
and fulfilled their ministry and have gone on and the last one is rocking on
his rocking chair. Now my words are a little too weak but there was a prophet
of God sent today to interpret Scriptures Malachi 4:5-6. He was sent unto us today with the facts. He
was Revelation
10:7- "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall
begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to
his servants the prophets.” All that was recorded in the bible far as
the mysteries are concerned was to be loosed by William Branham. We take his
word above every man's word and if he will interpret Zechariah 3 and Zechariah
4 in a different light we will take his word for it. How many wants to hear it?
I quote Revelation 3:1 -"These things sayeth he that hath the seven
spirits of God and the seven stars," seven spirits are identified
as seven eyes in Zechariah 4:10 .
"Putting our scriptural
discoveries together, it is evident that the seven spirits of God
referred to the continuous ministry of the same Holy Spirit in the lives of seven
men with whom God identified Himself very closely. They are his eyes, they are
his lamps. Who these men are can easily be seen because the next phrase calls them seven stars which are already
known to us as the seven messengers to
the seven church ages. How beautiful this is.” ( Seven Church Ages - pages 248-249)
Brother Branham opened up
the Book of Revelation and was
preaching on the Lamb, he said the Lamb had seven eyes and He had seven horns.
That is Revelation: 5. He opened up the Bible and said in Rev
3:1 that these were seven
spirits before God. Then in Revelation 5 he said there were
seven lamps burning before the throne. He said all these sevens over here,
seven eyes, seven spirits of God, seven lamps they are speaking of one thing.
They are speaking of seven spirits before almighty God. These seven spirits are
not seven individual spirits it is the Spirit of the Holy Ghost working through
seven men throughout the seven church ages and it's the seven stars which are
the seven messengers to the seven church ages.
I believe a blind man should
see that, I believe a blind man should understand that. Therefore I am saying
that the inventor of this heresy that built upon Zechariah 4 his prop is
knocked off by the major prophet called William Branham.
Whereas he is putting
Zechariah the 3rd and the 4th
Chapter over here after William
Branham. Brother Branham took those messages and applied it to the seven church
age messengers. Zechariah 3:8:9, Zechariah 4:10 quoting Brother Branham (Seals Pg.102) interpreting what those scriptures are, he was speaking of the
Lamb in Chap:5 of the Book of Revelation. Brother Branham ties in the seven
eyes of Revelation Chap. 5, with Zechariah the 3rd Chap. and the 4th
Chap. So this is what he said, “The seven
eyes, eyes means seeing. Seeing means prophets - seers: this Lamb had seven
horns, and on each horn had an eye. What is it? Christ and His Bride, Seven Church Ages out there, was seven
prophets that went forth - seven seers, seven eyes. So the last one must be a
seer. All right.”
Brother Branham tied in the seven eyes of Revelation 5 and 6 into
Zechariah Chap. 3 and 4 and say that they belong to the messengers of
the Seven Church Ages. They pertain to the seven messengers of the Seven Church
Ages.
Therefore we have knocked
off the next prop upon which this damnable heresy is resting. When you destroy
the foundation of any heresy, my Brother, that heretic has to prove himself an
unbeliever or a child of God. If he is a child of God, he repents. And if he cannot repent after
seeing the simplicity of the Scripture then he is a born devil to pervert the
Word of God and what you need to do is to give him a second warning. And after
you give him that second warning you fulfill the scripture in Titus
Chap 3:10 “A man that is an heretic
after the first and second admonition
reject... [for he is condemned]
of himself”. That is the scriptural order to deal with a
heretic.
You don't go begging, and pushing and pulling a heretic day after
day, month after month, year after year, asking him to repent. If you had
Brother Paul here and he had to deal with a heretic. Brother Paul would make plain the Scripture once, and he wouldl
make the Scripture plain a second time. After that is made plain and that man
cannot see that, Brother Paul would know that the election is off, he would
reject him. That is Scriptural order.
And after the Word of God is made plain people that sit and hear the
exposition of such inventions of false doctrines and interpretations on the
Thunders and they cannot accept the simplicity and the plainness of the Message
of William Branham, something is wrong with their desires, definitely wrong
with their desires. Jesus said, “This is the condemnation that light is come
into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds
were evil”, John 3:19. And if you have a pastor that allows you to
commit adultery and live in fornication and be a thief, a vagabond and do
unscriptural things and your deeds are evil, you would love that kind of a
preacher because he allows you to wallow in your sins and Jesus, said that
would be your condemnation. And after the Word of God has come and explained Zechariah
3:9, Zechariah 4:10 by the
mighty Elijah the prophet in Church Age,
pg. 249 on the Seal Book page 102. Lets
say that you did not know that the Prophet interpreted those Scriptures. Here
you have a preacher showing you the Word of God. Something has to be wrong with
a person to deny the Words of Malachi 4, William Branham, who was sent of God,
inspired of God as a major prophet of the age, and to take another man's
word. Something has to be wrong with
his desire.
So if you got tied up in my explanation all that I am saying is, Brother
Branham took Zechariah the 3rd Chapter and Zechariah the 4th
Chapter 10th verse and he applied it to the Seven Messengers of the
Seven Church Ages. I defy this heresy
upon the basis of the words of the anointed Elijah that took Zechariah Chap. 3 and Chap. 4 and
applied it to the Seven men in the Seven Church Ages bringing the Seven Church
Age messages. Therefore this heresy has no foundation to stand upon, I defy it
as heretical, hell oriented and satanic and call the heretic to repentance and all that follow him to
repentance. I call all the congregations to repentance, and to turn loose of
this heresy!
Observe that only two scriptures were given here to support this
heresy, “There are seven men to reveal the Seven Thunders.” No quotations were
given and that is simply because there are none. There is no quotation from any of the eleven hundred tapes to
prove that seven men are to receive the Revelation of the Seven Thunders,
otherwise these heretics would certainly make use of it. The only way they
could force fit themselves into the Word of God, is to bring up another
interpretation of Zechariah 3rd and 4th Chapters. No quotations were given, absolutely none,
because there is none. In eleven
hundred tapes there is none to prove that there are seven men to receive the
revelation of the seven thunders not even to indicate such a plan of God for
the opening of the Seventh Seal or Seven Thunders.
One heresy leads to another,
and this heresy has its foundation upon other heresies. These men are saying
that Amos 3:7 only applies to the Old Testament and it is not applied to the
New Testament.
Another heresy that this is resting upon is that, in the New
Testament, God has a different order in bringing revelation and that is by a
bunch of Apostles. Since he used several
Apostles in the New Testament, the revelation and the message are still coming
after the death of William Branham, He was only one Apostle but we got to have
a bunch of apostles in the end time. Those apostles that are arising now could
add to the message, new revelations.
You don't have to find it in the Bible, you don't have to find it in
brother Branham’s message because New Testament order is that one Apostle gets
a revelation, and another gets a
revelation to form the picture.
I defy these teachings.
There are heretical, totally unscriptural and unfounded in the message of
Malachi 4: 5:6. This heresy is based
upon those heresies which seek to destroy the foundation of the scriptures and
message of Malachi 4. Amos 3:7
is the very foundation of the Bible and the very foundation of the message
of William Branham. Anything that would try to destroy the foundation of the
Bible and the foundation of the message of William Branham is hell oriented, is
satanic, and should be recognized only
as that.
In all the Prophet's
teachings, the foundation for his message to the end time bride is Amos
3:7, Malachi 4:5 Revelation 10:7, Revelation 3:14 since God's divine
order is to bring revelation to the church by one Messenger for each Age. All
messages were addressed to the Angel/Messenger to the respective Ages. The message for each Age was addressed only
to one, not seven.
In all the written Word from
Genesis to Revelation, God never used a group of men to bring a message to the
Church neither did he ever use a group of men because he had seven or more
revelations to the Age. I challenge any heretic to prove differently. No where in the Bible did God ever use a
group of men, and if God was bringing seven revelations or more to a particular
age. He did not need seven or eight
men, because it was several revelations.
No! My Brothers and Sisters, the only way that an heretic can force fit
seven men into the message for receiving the Revelation of the Seven Thunders
is to pervert Amos 3:7 and Rev. 10:3.
Mathematically it's right, seven voices, seven revelations, seven men,
seven thunders. Mathematically, working it out from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. So they are saying seven voices, and seven voices
equals seven revelations, seven revelations equals seven men, seven men equal
seven thunders, but give it the Word test, give this heresy the Word test by
God's mathematics of the Bible. Rev. 10:1-4 plus Amos
3:7 equal one revelator. Let us hear God's mathematics by God's
mathematics of the Bible, Rev. 10:1-4 plus Amos 3:7. God reveals His secrets to His Prophets
equal one revelator, Revelation 10:1.
Now you can't find that in the
colleges? No. They cannot understand
this mathematics. Now if you want to know if the answer is correct, my Brother,
and your little teacher cannot correct the lesson, you have to go
to the Principal of the age. Let me quote him here from Church Age, Page 324. “It was in the end
time period that the Seven Thunders of Jesus came forth. Revelation 10: 3-4. What was in those Seven Thunders no one
knows. But we need to know, and it will take a prophet to get the Revelation
because God has no other way of bringing out His Spiritual revelations except
by a Prophet. The Word always came by a Prophet and always will. That this is the Law of God is evident by
even a casual search of the Scriptures.”
I am saying that Revelation 10:1-4 plus Amos 3:7 equals one revelation
and revelator, “Christ,” and it proves
the other sum wrong. Seven voices
equals seven revelations. equals seven men, equals seven thunders, equals seven
Apostles today. I say that sum is
wrong. Put an ‘X’ on it, yes, put an ‘X’ on that sum. Because the prophet
corrected this sum.
I am checking my lesson with
what the Prophet of God says in Church Age Page 324. I am just quoting him, you do what you want. When this goes out there and meets you, you
do what you want, I am quoting the Prophet of God! And I tell you right here
and I declare right now my Brothers and Sisters In this Assembly and to all that will hear this tape and to
all that will read our literature,
that I am not that one! I make myself
abundantly clear. I want you to bear me witness. [Congregation says Amen]
Anybody that hears this
quotation, do what you want with it. I am not fitting myself into that quotation, I am stating truth.
That is the order of God's Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Notice on this
same page. Brother Vayle documented the
expectations of Brother Branham to receive the Revelation of the seven
thunders, but at the Seals in 1963, Brother Branham concluded that it was not
revealed. So, this idea of seven prophets, seven apostles is condemned by
Brother Branham from the Church Ages page 324, it cannot stand up in the
message, it cannot stand up in the Word.
I am quoting Brother Branham:
“He could've chosen the sun to
preach the gospel, but God always deals with one individual who will listen to
Him Word by Word." (Seals page 184
& 298)
“God uses man and man only. God doesn't use machinery. God doesn't use
groups men. God doesn't use organizations. God uses individuals always.” (Perfect Faith 63-0825E pg. 9).
Let me get a few more, I am quoting here from “Voice of the Sign”
“God never did deal with a group nowhere in the scriptures. He deals with one
individual because every man is different from the other. He gets one man till
he can get him perfectly in harmony, till he can become that word” (Voice of the Sign 64-0313, par 40)
"It can't come to a group never did, one man, that's what God
promised.
(Trying to Do God A Service, 65-1127, par. 219)
"Tell me when God ever used a group to lead. You won't find it in
the Bible. One man, the Word came to
Moses. Korah we all know that he got
himself, and complained about God not being just to do a thing, like that to make one man with the message.
And remember, Jude speaks the same thing in the last day." ( Why It Had To
Be Shepherds, 64-1221, para 153)
God use one at a time.
“You can't go under a group of men. I defy anytime that it ever
went, God ever did use a group of man. He uses one man. Exactly. One man at a
time, cause two men's got two opinions. One man! Exactly right. Notice now,
every dispensation it's been that way, all the way down through.”(The end time
Evangelism, Jeff, Ind.,62-0603. page 27).
"Each time he appeared on the earth at the end of an age, He
always sent a man and anointed him with the Holy Ghost, Christ …. Now He can't
do it in a group. You can't do it. It just never has been done. He never did use a group, never did. He uses one single person.”
(The Identified Christ of all Ages. Louisville Series, 64-0401 Page 7).
“Now God always uses a prophet, a man. If you use a bunch of man, you get different ideas, See. Each
man, two man. Never did he have two major
prophets on the earth at one time. He
takes one, so the other one can take its place for another day, another
message. He never has two. He has one at a time”. (The Evening messenger, Mesa, Arizona,
63-0116 Pg. 12).
That is sufficient to help
us to understand that the Prophet's understanding was, that right through the
Bible God never did use a group of men. God always used an individual. Now this
heresy is completely contrary to the entire program of God. I am saying that
more light may come upon the message of the Age, but it cannot contradict the
Revelation that is given by God to his messenger previously, and that is simply
proven, the reformers Martin Luther came with justification, then Wesley came
with a higher revelation, is that right!
But he never contradicted Martin Luther's revelation and William Branham
came and opened up all the mysteries of God and never contradicted the
revelation of justification and sanctification, neither did he contradict what
happened at Azusa Street. So now more light could come to an unfinished
message. But, that man must not
contradict the message in any way. This
man who ever he is, has contradicted the prophet. The invention of this heresy
has blatantly contradicted the inspired interpretation of the Bible, the very
standard of the Bible, the very system of the Bible according to Amos 3:7
Closing remarks, this heresy
has broken every type, and shadow of the scriptures and blatantly contradicted
the foundational teachings of the Bible and message of brother Branham.
Therefore it is of the Antichrist. This heresy changed the divine
interpretations of Zechariah 3:8:9 and 4:10 which the Holy Ghost declared by Malachi
4:5-6.
Therefore it is Satanic, hell-oriented, and a damnable heresy to many
souls. We call the perverters to repentance; we call the elect to hear God's
voice, Malachi 4, and turn away from such heretics. Seven of them calling themselves Seven Thunders. If one dies, a
Thunder dies. In any event all seven of them are spiritually dead. Thus their Seven
Thunders are dead and have no life in them. Flee for your life Lady Elect. Seven thunders ministers
will certainly agree with the exposition of this heresy of seven men for the
Revelation of the seven thunders. While
we are grateful for their support may I state, that they are caught in the same
net, since many of them claimed to be receiving the revelation of the seven
thunders collectively and progressively since nineteen seventy four ten years
after the opening of the seals, when Brother Branham stated in 1963 that the seventh seal or thunders
was not revealed (Seals, page 567-576). As
certainly as these seven men have violated the laws of God to force fit
themselves as revelators of the thunders those seven hundred and seventy-seven
thunder ministers plus, have done the same to their hurt and dishonor. Why only
after ten years? Somebody is acting super-spiritual. The answer to that question is a greater diabolical heresy than
to say seven men are to reveal the seven thunders. For they claim seven hundred
and seventy seven plus.
"The Gentile Church
should be obedient only to the Epistle of Paul, their Apostle and the Jews should
be obedient only to the Epistles of the Jewish Apostles. These include the four
gospels."
I am Roy Barrow. I truly
believe in the holiness message brought to us today by God's holy anointed
prophet, the immortal Elijah, our precious and beloved prophet, Malachi 4:5-6,
Brother William Marion Branham.
I am here to expose by
Scriptures and the message of William Branham, Heretical Article No. 17, which
says, "The Gentile Church should be obedient only to the Epistle of Paul,
their Apostle and the Jews should be obedient only to the Epistles of the
Jewish Apostles. These include the four
gospels."
This belief called, Article
No. 17, is unfounded in Scripture and the message of the hour. It cannot be
fitted or put back in the Scripture of the great commission given by our Lord
in Matthew
28:19 - "Go ye therefore and teach all nations (Jews and Gentiles)
baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching
them (Jews and Gentiles) to observe and obey all things whatsoever I
have commanded you. (Not some things, but all things) and
lo; I am with you always even unto the end of the world."
Both Jews and Gentiles are
compelled by Scripture to observe all things, whatsoever Christ commanded in
the Gospels or Scriptures.
This command was given to
all the Jewish Apostles and the Church at Jerusalem to proclaim the Gospel to
all nations. "All" includes Jews, Samaritans and Gentiles. The Gospel
is an all inclusive Gospel. It is good for the Jews, the Samaritans and the
Gentiles. Jesus died for all men according to John 3:16 - "For God so
loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth
(Jews and Gentiles) in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Article No. 17 is contrary
to Mark
16:15 where Jesus commanded the Jewish Apostles and Church at Jerusalem
to "Go
ye into all the world, and preach the
gospel to every creature." The phrases, 'all the world'
and, 'every creature' included both Jews and Gentiles.
It is also contrary to the last
command that Jesus gave to the twelve Jewish Apostles in Acts 1:4-8, where he
commanded them to "tarry or wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father, then
shall ye be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, Judea (Jews) and
Samaria (Half Jews) and unto the uttermost parts of the
world" (Gentiles).
This belief that the
Gentiles should be obedient to Paul only and the Jews to their Jewish Apostles
only is furthest from the truth. It is false, erroneous and deadly. It is a
damnable heresy and a doctrine of devils. It is another gospel, under the
Message of Malachi 4:5-6.
Galatians 1:8-9 - "But
though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that
which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say
I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have
received, let him be accursed."
Any preacher that believes
Article No. 17, the Gospel of our Lord is hid from him.
2Corinthians 4:3 - "But
if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost."
Any spirit that divides the
Gospel is the spirit of the White Horse Rider in disguise under the Message of
the hour and it is the spirit of Nicolaitanism. It is the same spirit of antichrist
that divided the gospel and the True Church in the third century. It is a dangerous spirit. It is the
same spirit that martyred 68 million of our brothers and sisters through the
Dark Ages. We do not compromise with any heretical teaching nor treat it
lightly. It must be exposed, opposed, fought against and be relentlessly resisted.
Jude 1:3 - "Beloved,
when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was
needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly
contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."
Paul saw the same spirit
that divided the Gospel at work in the first century and instructed the Church
in Galatia, that if we or an angel come from heaven and preach any other gospel
unto you, let him be accursed. This is our stand today.
Any spirit that sets out to
divide the Gospel and the message of the hour as in Article No. 17, Let him be
"Anathema Maranatha" - Let him be accursed unto the day of the coming
of the Lord.
The responsibility of taking
the gospel to the Gentile world was given by our Lord to the Jewish Apostles
and Church at Jerusalem. The responsibility of teaching the nations to observe
all things Christ commanded them was committed to the Jewish Apostles and not
only to Paul, even though he was subsequently chosen and sent to the Gentiles
according to Acts 9:15, where God told Ananias to "Go thy way, for he is a
chosen vessel unto me to bear My Name before the Gentiles and Kings, and the
children of Israel." (Jews). Paul proclaimed the Gospel, contrary
to Article No. 17, to both Jews and Gentiles. His ministry was not just limited
or restricted according to Article No. 17, to the Gentiles as some message
preachers now want you to believe and accept. We are not ignorant to the fact
that he was the Apostle to the Gentiles, but he ministered to both people.
The first time the gospel
was turned over to the Gentiles, contrary to Article No. 17, was done by Peter,
a Jewish Apostle.
Acts 10:44-45 - "While
Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the
word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as
came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of
the Holy Ghost"
Where does this belief
that the Gentiles should be obedient to
Paul only and the Jews obedient only to the Epistles of the Jewish Apostles
stand in what took place in Cornelius' household?
I therefore, solemnly and
boldly declare today, Article No. 17 to be false, erroneous and of the
antichrist, disguised under Scriptural terminology and the message of the hour.
It is damnable heresy and iron bars of
false interpretation on the Word of God.
The same gospel that Peter
preached among the circumcision (Jews) was the very same gospel he preached
unto Cornelius' household (Gentiles). If this is not so, I challenge you in the
Name of the Lord to make it something else. You dare not do it.
A revival broke at Pentecost
and the Gospel went in power to the Gentiles. A revival is about to be broken
among the Gentiles that will take the Gospel back to the Jews.
"As the Jews brought the message to the Gentiles, even so the
Gentiles will take it right back to the Jews and the rapture will come"
(An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, page 36)
When the Gospel is turned
over to the Jews by the Gentiles it will fulfill Romans 11:26 - "And so all
Israel shall be saved: as it is written, there shall come out of Zion the
Deliverer, and shall turn away un-godliness from Jacob."
The same Gospel that is now
being preached among the Gentiles brought unto us by the Restoration Prophet of
Malachi 4:5-6 is the same Gospel that will be turned over to the Jews.
"And one of these days some divine holy anointed Prophet will go over
there with signs and wonders. Those Jews will say that's what I am looking for.
Yes sir! And God will baptize a hundred and forty-four thousand Jews and the
rapture will come, the Gentile age will cease." (The Seal of God -
54-0514. par. 277)
The same Gospel Peter
preached among the Jews was the same Gospel Paul preached unto the Gentiles.
Galatians 2:7-8 - "But
contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the un-circumcision was
committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter. For he
that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostle-ship of the circumcision, the
same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles."
Both Jews and Gentiles were
saved by the same gospel.
Romans 1:16 - "For I am
not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation
to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
The gospel that the Church
at Jerusalem had to be obedient to is the very same gospel the Gentile Church
had to obey also, contrary to Article No. 17.
Message Preachers, where
does this belief of Article No. 17 stand in light of the Scriptures quoted and
the quotations of the Prophet on the matter?
Message Believers, where is
the difference between Jews and Gentiles?
There is absolutely none as
far as the gospel is concerned.
God has only one standard or
principle by which he works and that is His Word.
Psalm 119:89 -
"Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven."
It cannot change, God does
not have one standard for the Jews and another for the Gentiles. What was good
for the Jews on the day of Pentecost was good for Cornelius' household and the
rest of the Gentile world.
1 Corinthians 12:13 -
"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or
Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one
Spirit."
What is implied by Article
No. 17 is that there are two gospels. Article No. 17 strongly implies that the
Gentiles have a different gospel or Word to live by and the Jews have a
different gospel to live by. I refute such belief. There is only one Gospel.
Hebrews 2:3 - "How
shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to
be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him."
Ephesians 4:5 - "One
Lord, one faith, one baptism."
If this belief of who Jews
and Gentiles should be obedient to was Scripturally correct and has spiritual
merit, then this Article is saying that Jesus did contrary when He, being a Jew
spoke the Words of Life to the woman of Samaria.
John 4:4 - "And he must
needs go through Samaria."
Who is wrong? Certainly not
Jesus! This Article is wrong.
According to Article No. 17,
Phillip the Evangelist did wrong when he, being a Jew, went to preach the
Kingdom of God unto the City of Samaria.
Acts 8:5-6 - "Then
Phillip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And
the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Phillip spake,
hearing and seeing the miracles which he did."
What is also implied by this
belief is a spirit of division that was among the Church of Corinth where some
said, "I am of Paul," others said, "I am of Apollos."
1 Corinthians 1:12-13 -
"Now this I say, that every one of you saith; I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of
Christ. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in
the name of Paul?"
Let it be known that the very same spirit involved there is now
at work in the message. It is a spirit that is trying to divide the gospel by
making it two; one for the Jews and one
for the Gentiles. I ask like Paul, - "Is Christ divided, followers of
Malachi 4:5? I know your answer will be "No." Then the gospel cannot
be divided.
It is one Gospel and Christ
is that Gospel. He is all the Word of
God and all the Word must be obeyed whether you are Jew or Gentile.
The spirit of division is
the spirit of the White Horse Rider at work in dividing the Message. It divided
the early Christian Church. It is the Nicolaitan spirit now housed in the Roman
Catholic Church.
I declare this article to be
satanic, diabolical and of the devil. It came from the pit of Hell. This is the
same old serpent with his tricks, under cover, twisting the Word and perverting
the Message of the Hour, trying to deceive and pregnate end time Eve with a
false seed as he did in Eden. This article is sowing seeds of discrepancy among
the followers of Malachi 4:5 by false anointed ones here in the end time. It is
the antichrist spirit speaking perverse things to draw away disciples unto
themselves. They are not saying what the Word says neither what the Prophet
taught.
The Prophet never taught
that kind of division between Jews and Gentiles. Message believers, I solemnly
call upon you to judge all things by the Word, stand by the Word which is our
Absolute and escape being deceived by cunningly devised fables of unbelief as
contained in Article No. 17.
Why have you gone out of the
Scriptures to make a distinction or division between Jews and Gentiles, when
all those things that brought the difference between both people are done away
with in Christ?
Ephesians 2:14-15 -
"For he is our peace, who hath made both one (Jews and Gentiles) and
hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us. Having abolished in
his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for
to make in himself of twain (Jews and Gentiles) one new man, so making
peace."
I ask where is the middle wall
of partition? It is broken down by Christ's death on the Cross and now there is
no difference between Jews and Gentiles. Any Preacher who is trying to rebuild
the middle wall is a false Prophet and has not seen what Christ did on the
Cross.
Ephesians 2:16-22 -
"And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross,
having slain the enmity thereby. And came and preached peace to you which were
afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by
one spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and
foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the house- hold of God.
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ
himself being the chief corner stone. In whom all the building fitly framed
together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord. In whom ye also are builded
together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."
Romans 3:29-30 - "Is he
the God of the Jews only? Is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles
also: Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and
un-circumcision through faith"
The distinction made by
Article No. 17 between both Jews and Gentiles is a direct violation of
Galatians 3:28 where Paul taught that
there is neither bond or free, male or female. For we are all one in
Christ Jesus.
Article No. 17 runs in
conflict with Acts 13:46 where the gospel was first preached to the Jews and,
on their rejection, was turned to the Gentiles.
Acts 13:46 - "Then Paul
and Barnabas waxed bold, and said. It was necessary that the word of God should
first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge
yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles."
The gospel that the Jewish
Apostles preached and established the Church at Jerusalem upon, was the exact
Revelation that Paul was preaching among the Gentiles. He never once
contradicted those who were Apostles before him.
Galatians 2:9 - "And
when James, Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that
was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship
that we should go unto the heathen and they unto the circumcision."
2 Peter 3:15-17, Peter acknowledged that Paul
spoke something hard to be understood but he never contradicted, opposed or
fought Paul on doctrine. Of all those things that were hard to be understood
yet they never differed on doctrine. They believed and preached the same gospel
because they had the same spirit.
If you have the same spirit
as William Branham you will believe and preach the same things that he taught.
The reason you believe and preach differently is because you have another
spirit.
Paul had to correct Peter,
the Chief among the Jewish Apostles, but it was not on doctrine, it was on
racial prejudice or racial segregation.
Galatians 2:11-12 -
"But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because
he was to be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did
eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and
separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision."
According to Article No. 17,
Paul had no authority or right to correct Peter, a Jewish Apostle. This belief
is utter foolishness. It makes no sense, natural or spiritual. I make no
apology about that. It is damnable heresy and iron bars of false
interpretation. We will not support or subscribe to it. We refute it.
The truth of the Gospel is
that once you break God's word you will be corrected.
In Acts 15:1-32, Paul the
Apostle (to whom the Gentiles should be obedient only, according to Article No.
17) brought a matter from among the very Gentiles to the Jewish Apostles and to
the elders and Church at Jerusalem to be settled. Remember that the Jews should
be obedient to the Jewish Apostles only, and the Gentiles to Paul only. But
this was a Gentile matter that the Jewish Apostles were asked to settle.
Where does Article No. 17
stand in the light of these situations and instances in Scripture?
This belief cannot fit in
any part of God's Word. We dismiss it. We want no part nor lot with it. We will
continue with the simplicity of God's Precious Word.

preacher of righteousness, contending for the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the holiness Message brought to us by William Branham, God's Prophet, who
fulfilled Malachi 4:5-6.
I am here to deal with
Article No. 18 which states, "Sports, Ball Games, and other Games can be
played amongst Message Believers only, Church Sport Groups can compete against
each other without getting into a bad spirit. It is ideal for entertaining
youths at conventions."
1 John 2:15-16 - "Love
not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the
world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the
lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life; is not of
the Father, but is of the world."
Ephesians 4:14 - "That
we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with
every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby
they lie in wait to deceive."
I want to associate with my shepherd,
Dalton Bruce and, Exposition of Damnable Heresies. I am in full agreement with
my fellow ministers and elder brothers in the Ministry of Christ. I fully
support them in their Exposition of Damnable Heresies.
The author of this Article
is stating that it is okay for message believers to play sports, and other
games, and that Church Sport Groups can compete against each other and not get
into a bad spirit; even
"Sports" is ideal for entertaining youths at conventions.
This author is saying that sports
hold high ideals for youths to follow.
After careful examination of this Article, as compared with the
Scriptures that I have just read and the end time message of Malachi 4:5-6, I
conclude that this Article No. 18 is a
doctrine of the devil. The spirit behind this article is a very deceptive and worldly spirit.
A backslidden man always
comes up with something to suit his taste! When you are in a backslidden state,
you must allow the Word to correct you. You don't try to twist the Word to
conceal your backslidden condition. False doctrine eats like cancer until death
results.
2 Timothy 2:18 - "Who
concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already;
and overthrow the faith of some."
Get back to the Word, sit
under the pure Word of God and bury your pride. The Word of God is for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2Timothy 3:16) Any spirit
that twists the Word has its origin from the serpent in Eden.
Article No. 18 is false and
deceptive. The reason why men ought not to love the world, and the things
therein is simply this: The love of God, and the love of the world with the
things that are in it are incompatible. They are on opposite sides. They cannot
exist together. They cannot agree in one.
How subtle this spirit is.
It has to take a side. It must find something suited for its taste. They now
bring the world into the Church in order to be in good standing, to look good
in the eyes of the world. It is a proud spirit.
The love of God and the love
of the world and the things of the world are on different sides. This is the
reason why the devil, who is the prince of this world, fights the children of
God. He does not like to see God's children striving to perfection and living
according to the holiness message that was brought to us by the end time
messenger who advocated holiness or hell. We have something to look forward to,
so we ought not to be looking back to sports, ball games and other such games,
which are articles of the world.
The love of the Father and
the love of the world and the things in the world breathe two different
characters. A man of God has his affection set on things above. A man in the
world has his affection set on things beneath (earthly)
James 4:4 - "...know ye
not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore
will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
As an ex-sportsman, let me
give you some first hand information. Before every game my team always said a
prayer. As we finished praying, I laced
up my boots and got ready. When the referee blew his whistle all that was in my
thoughts was "To Win". At that time, anything that came between
"Win" and "Me," I moved it out of the way. From the time I
got that ball and the spectators started shouting my name, a certain pride took
over and I felt that there was not another one on the playing field as skillful
as I was. That show off spirit took over and did anything to oppose the other
players in order to prove its point.
I am putting it to you that
a sports spirit is a competitive spirit and a competitive spirit is an exalted
spirit. This spirit can be traced right back to Lucifer.
To compete with someone is
to try hard to gain or to win something wanted by another by contending for it,
going after it until one comes out the victor. That is not the spirit of God.
That is the spirit of the world. A competitive spirit is of the world.
No way can you be in sports
without that spirit coming upon you. A competitive spirit is a worldly spirit
and it is contrary to 1John 2:15-16 which says that if any man loves the world
or the things that are in the world, such as sports, ball games, and other such
games the love of the Father is not in him.
You are either on God's side
or the Devil's side. God will have all of you or none at all. Anytime sports are being played, whether
they are between believers or un-believers, or whoever, there is always a bad
spirit in attendance and that is a worldly spirit. This doctrine that 'Church
Sport Groups' can compete against each other and not get into a bad spirit does
not say a thing, it just cannot stand with the Word.
A competitive spirit is an
exalted spirit, an exalted spirit is a covetous spirit and a covetous spirit is
a bad spirit and is contrary to Philippians 2:3 - "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in
lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."
This doctrine is very
cunning, it is slippery and if allowed to creep into the church it will enslave
people and eventually take their souls to hell. This is the sole purpose behind
this doctrine.
Lucifer preached this same
exalted doctrine to one third of the angels in heaven and brought their demise.
There were cast down from heaven. This sports spirit is an exalted spirit, it
is a proud spirit. Lucifer wanted to be like "The Most High." He
wanted to exalt his throne above the stars of God. It is a show-off spirit.
Every sportsman and sportswoman has a show-off spirit, a proud spirit and pride
goeth before a fall.
As long as the devil could
get that competitive spirit in your soul then you are trapped. Your whole sight
will only be fame and glory and big pay day.
Matthew 16:26 - "For
what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"
This spirit of competition
among message believers is in direct contrast to 1 Timothy 5:21 - "I charge thee
before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe
these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by
partiality."
Sports is not a Christian
article. Why? Because sports has a companion. A worldly spirit that is
inseparable. In order to have sports you must have its companion, "Mr. World",
contrary to 1 John 2:15-17, sports is not an article of the Church.
Since the inception of the
Church on the Day of Pentecost there is no Scripture in the New Testament which
suggests that Sports were played
between believers. Can you imagine Paul organizing a ball game to
entertain Timothy? Or Paul's team
competing against Titus' team?
Impossible! If the early Church did not organize those games to
entertain the youths, then we have no God-given right to do so among Message
believers and Church groups.
"What the Church was at Pentecost is the standard. That
is the pattern. There is no
other pattern. No matter what the scholars say, God has NOT changed that
pattern." (Church Age Book - page 67)
The devil has cunningly introduced
these activities in the Church as a Christian article. It is a scheme he uses to bring God's children
into bondage.
2 Peter 2:1 - "But
there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false
teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying
the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."
"And I tell you one thing brother, when a man is born to be a
child of God, old creeds and denominations will never satisfy him! No sir!. The
things of the world, basket ball games and bunco games and all these kinds of
entertainment that the modern churches do today in our day. No wonder they
grieved. Where is God? They've grieved God away from them. That's exactly
right. Yes sir." (As An Eagle Stirreth Her Nest - 60-0403, par.23-4)
"If you're a eagle you're not scared. You can't understand how all
these socials and parties, and picture
show, entertainments, and everything in the church, and ball games and
everything else to make money to pay the pastor. Never was intended. (As The
Eagle Stirreth Her Nest - 58-0316, par. E58)
"Ball games and frolics and so forth, that's all right but it
don't belong in the Church." (Micaiah The Prophet - 26/04/61)
"And that's it today. You can have all your church joining and
frolics and basket-ball parties and everything else you want. But for me, bury
me in Christ. (God Perfecting His Church - 54-1204, par. E61)
"Trouble of it is to the world, the church is trying to give the
world a big bunch of entertainment...on their grounds. We're not supposed to.
What will we do? We just give them a great big pot of cooked up religious
mulligan stew. That's all. Call it social parties and little bunco games and
soup supper to pay off the preacher. Nonsense. That's no way to run a
church....When it comes to a place that the church has to put entertainment,
it's a miserable backslidden hell bound group of people." (Greatest News
Flash in History - 61-0424, par.E40&E43)
"Now you see all these things just a conglomeration of gaiety. Now, it said, they'd be heady, high
minded, lovers of pleasure more that lovers of
God, oh! They can't go to church on Sunday night as long as there's some
good television program on. Oh my. Even
the churches has got ball teams and soup suppers, and cricket parties and
lovers of pleasure more that lovers of God, truce breakers, false accusers,
incontinent and despisers of those that are good. These despising those. See? despisers of those that are good."
(Smyrnaean Church Age - 60-1206, par.71)
I challenge all the
hypocritical, sports-loving preachers and worldly sports- loving message
believers to show me where the early church had on its soul winning agenda,
"Sports and Ball Games and Other Games". Although games had existed
they were not practiced by the Christian Church.
Remember how they made sport
of Samson? They sat in their pavilion, drinking and revelling. They sat in
their amphi-theater and made fun of our brothers and sisters who were murdered
by the millions.
"I ain't got nothing against basket-ball, base-ball, foot-ball or
whatever it is, if that's all your god is, its a big bag of air. But let me
tell you, what we need today is the Word of God anointed for this age that'll
bring forth the Power of the Holy Ghost again. Yes, that's all right, but that
don't belong in the Church. No sir. Have to build something like that, to keep
the Church together, you'd better burn it down or kick it out, or get something
in there that'll bring the Word back again. And that's the things of the world,
oh, mixing it with the Word of God, you cannot do it. No sir!" (World
Again Falling Apart - 63-1127)
"We do not try to compete with the world in their momentous
psychological exercises. We do not try to out-glitter them with ball games and
intellectual entertainments. We cannot
meet them, Father you said ' The children of the night are wiser that the
children of the day! So we know that Father, but we have Jesus." (Jesus
Christ the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever - 61-0516A)
If any man add to or take
away from God's word, God shall add the plagues that are written in the Book
unto him and his part shall be taken out of the Book of Life, and out of the
Holy City. Revelation 22:18.
Matthew 16:6 - "Take
heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees."
Galatians 1:8 - "But,
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that
which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
The last Church Age
messenger also warned the Church of this false doctrine.
I am also warning believers
of the dangers of injecting error in the Word of God.
Sports, ball games and other
games do not belong to the Church.
The Apostle Paul and the
Prophet William Branham took heed and taught the Church as Jesus warned, so who
are you, Mr. Article No. 18? Where did your authority come from to teach such
falsities to the Church today? Flee from these teachings! Save your soul before
it is too late.
"He goes to ball games and he does all these things; he's a sinner
to begin with, his nature's like a hog.
When you go and call yourself a Christian and stick your nose in with him, then
you are no better than he is, but you're worse, come out from among them. Let go of the world. Let go.

"Have you noticed how the world gets into the spirit of things
that are in the world? They go to their ball games, their sporting events and
their dances events and their dances. They enter into the spirit of it."
(Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, Patmos Vision, page 44)
"The kind of spirit in them draws for that, (Sports) the Spirit of
a Christian draws him to Christ." (Escape Hither, Come Quickly, 58-0202,
para E-37)
The message of Malachi 4, on
several messages on tapes and books, condemns baseball as a god to the world,
sports spirit as hog's nature. It's not an article of the Church. The Church is
hybrid when she endorses sports, he said, "I don't go ball games, new birth is always against it, sinners attend
sports, it's the sin of Sodom." Amen!
Can you possibly imagine Jesus being a sportsman? Playing cricket,
football or other ball games for entertainment and Mary Magdalene, Susanna and
the other women, hollering in an arena or taking part in any ball games like
basketball, netball or tennis? We never
heard of the apostles nor the disciples involved in sports. We never read of
the "Corinthians Sport Team" nor the "Romans Church Sport Team",
though sports was the order of the day in the city of Rome. We never heard of
competitions amongst the early churches not even between the two backslidden
churches of Corinth and Laodicea. Therefore, followers of the End Time Message
have proven themselves to be more backslidden than the Corinthian, and the Laodicean
churches.
"When a born again
Preacher gets out of the spirit, commits adultery or fornication, if he
repents, he should not be barred from re-entering the Pulpit."
Proverbs 6:32-33 - "But
whoso commiteth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding. He that doeth it
destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonor shall he get, and his reproach
shall not be wiped away."
Job 28:28 - " And unto
man he said, behold the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from
evil is understanding."
I am Phillip Peniston. I am
a Preacher of Righteousness, contending for the Holiness Message of our great, mighty Prophet,
William Marrion Branham. We are
contending today to keep this Holiness Message clean. I will be dealing with
Heretical Article No. 19, which states,
"When a born again Preacher gets out of the spirit and commits adultery or
fornication, if he repents, he should not be
barred from re-entering the Pulpit."
I declare that this is a heresy. I would like to divide this
article into three parts. The main issue of controversy that is being defended
is that, after committing such sins, this preacher is at liberty to re-enter
the pulpit. It is a consensus opinion that a preacher who
commits such a crime will propagate this doctrine and try to defend it.
The first part deals with
"When a born again preacher". I declare this to be a Nicolaitan
doctrine and an organizational seed, which had conquered and is still trying to
conquer the Laity. This is a prevalent custom in organization and is now
proposed as Doctrine and Standard of
this Holiness Message. We will not stand for it, No! Not for a minute. We stand
in defense of "Be ye holy, for I am Holy". (1Peter 1:16)
Is this preacher truly born
again? If a man is born by the Word, he will live the Word, his life will
reflect Christ. It is a total impossibility for anyone who is born again to
love the world and the things of this world, much more to commit adultery or fornication.
I will quote my spiritual progenitor and let him prove or disprove this
preacher's birth.
"And if you still got the things of the world in you, you're not
born again. And how you going to claim to be born again and still with the
things of the world hanging on you...and go right back out and defile a man's
wife, break up a man's home.... you'll still be just exactly like the world,
because you're not dead to the world yet. You are alive with it.....and a man
that's born of God, you cannot call him back into that rottenness of sin
anymore. He's dead and he's born again. He's a new creature, he's got the
nature of the eagle. He's got to get into the skies and soar" (You Must Be
Born Again, 31/12/61 - page 19-22)
Are adultery and fornication
articles of the world? Well, Brother Branham is saying unto every believer or
preacher who is guilty, you are not born again.
1 John 5:4 - "For
whatsoever is born of God, overcometh the world, and this is the victory that
overcometh the world, even our faith."
There is a faith given to
the believers that helps them overcome the world. This faith makes you an
overcomer, a victor, and gets you born again. The soul can possess the sixth
sense of faith or unbelief.
This preacher, not having
this faith in his soul, is possessed with unbelief. His adultery or fornication
is a manifestation of the attribute of unbelief.
1 John 2:16 - " For all
that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the
pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world."
The New Birth gives you
power over the world and it's lusts. Why did the preacher commit such sins?
Simply because he is not born again and the world and its lusts overcame him.
Proverbs 6:32-33 - "But
whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it
destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach
shall not be wiped away."
The "Wise Man"
proved that adultery is the result of a lack of understanding.
John 3:3 - "Except a
man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
See means to understand.
There is an understanding in the scriptures that gets a man born again.
In Matthew 16:17-19, Peter
came to this understanding or Revelation and the Lord promised to build his
Church upon this Revelation. "And the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it."
Mr. Preacher, how come you
were born again, have revelation, have the faith of Jesus and the gates of hell
prevailed against you?
Let every man's word be a
lie and God's word be true! Come back to the Word!
"What is the new birth? It is the
revelation of Jesus Christ personally to you."
(Christ Is The Mystery, 63-0728, par. 36-4)
The Prophet taught that when
a man is born again he receives the spirit in the measure like a shirt button.
Job 28:28 - "And unto
man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom: and to depart from
evil is understanding."
It is the same understanding
that helps this man to depart from evil. How was this preacher unable to depart
from such evil? He has no eternal life in his soul.
"But many of us try to do the works of Christ before the
reflection of Christ is in us.... we see these stumbles along the road. We find
the scrap heaps of ministers, of Christians, piled along the road. It is
because they didn't go into it right." (Stature of A Perfect Man, 62-1014,
par. 23-2
If you never went in right you cannot end right.
The right way to go in or start is to be born again by the incorruptible seed.
(1 Peter 1:23). This scrap heap of ministers is presently around the Message.
He stumbled on an object. This object was a sister in the church and he
stumbled over her. After he stumbled, his vehicle was destroyed. (He that
committeth adultery destroyeth his own soul, he defiled his temple). A wrecker
took him and he was numbered with others in the scrap heap. Before committing
the natural act, this man was guilty of looking and lusting. When the
opportunity arose he was overcome by his lust. There are many preachers in this
Message who are on the Pulpit, guilty of such sins, some repeatedly. History
proved that these are men responsible for peddling heresies. Their foundations
and their seeds are not right. These are men as the Prophet said, claiming to
do the works of Christ, manifesting the
third pull, preparing a Bride for Christ and preaching deep and swelling
Revelations.
This does not mean that a
preacher who sinned cannot be forgiven or is lost. The Lord is plenteous in mercy.
The blood of Jesus cleanses the vilest of sinners, only the blasphemy of the
Holy Ghost is unpardonable. But
re-entering the Pulpit is barred, he is out of place and is a disgrace
to this Message.
A man who lived in
fornication or adultery while handling the fire of God and married the woman
afterwards is equally guilty. The same scriptural judgments are applied. His
disqualification is that he is unfit to rule and must step down. Your marriage
never got you born again, never gave you the Holy Ghost, never gave you eternal
life or made you qualified. Marriage was just an exit for your sins. If you
were born again then in obedience you will marry before approaching a female.
Can young people draw virtue from you? Can they take you as a model or pattern?
We look in the Scriptures at
the examples of the Apostles and in our day at the example of William Branham.
We see no where, where they were associated closely with nor held in high
esteem, those ministers who fell by adultery. Then why is this being tolerated
today among the followers of this Message? Don't the leaders realize that such
close association and approval of such ministers to continue preaching and
being identified with them convey the wrong meaning to the followers of this
Holiness Message. And moreover it is an action contrary to the Word and the
Message of the hour.
Now secondly, it is claimed
that the Preacher "Got out of the
spirit." When a Christian is born
again, then he truly begins to walk in the spirit. The Holy Ghost comes down
into his soul and he is anointed from inside out.
Galatians 5:16 - "This
I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the
flesh."
Brother Paul gave us a guarantee
that if you walk in the spirit you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. How
did you manage to go out of the spirit and manifest the lust of the flesh?
Galatians 5:19 - "Now
the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: adultery, fornication
uncleanness...."
When you walk in the Spirit
you will manifest the fruits of the Spirit. When you walk in the flesh you will
manifest the works of the flesh.
A Christian does not begin
walking in the Spirit, slips out into the flesh then slip back again into the
Spirit. No, you are either walking in the Spirit or you are walking in the
flesh. No room to change into reverse gear. We began as little children, feeble
and weak. Walking in the flesh, as young Christians we obeyed the Word,
"Flee youthful lust". As we continued striving, the grace and light
of life shone into our hearts, darkness was dispelled, unbelief went and our
old carnal nature was changed. We are now lifted into the spirit. We live and
walk in the Spirit. We will continue walking in the Spirit every day of our
lives until we are translated like Enoch.
Old Testament believers
lacked this New Birth, the power to overcome the works of the flesh. New
Testament believers have access to this New Birth, they will triumph in grace
whereas our brethren failed under the law. The Lord promised to magnify the law
and to write it in our hearts. "Thou shall not commit adultery",
"Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife", are inscribed by the Holy
Ghost on the tables of our hearts.
How did you commit
adultery/fornication preacher? Where was the Holy Ghost you claimed? Was the Word inscribed on your heart? Because
you failed your test, you are under the law and need to sit under a true Grace
Covenant Preacher to bring you from Law to Grace. You cannot do it in yourself.
When and where did you find such a preacher? David is a poor example and
shelter for your sins.
Psalms 51:10 - "Create
in me a clean heart, O God: and renew a right spirit within me."
David was crying for an
experience which is only attained by the New Birth. You are looking back to the
Law for an example. But contrariwise David is praying for an experience which
is under Grace.
Preachers! Show me your New
Testament example! We have not so learned Christ in the Apostles, the Church
Age Messengers, Brother Branham or in true God called, Holy Ghost anointed,
Word and Message based Preachers. Christians can be walking in the spirit and
make many mistakes which do not challenge their Birth. Brother Peter, Brother
Branham, Brother Polycarp, etc. are such examples.
Galatians 5:24-25 -
"And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections
and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
How can you preach
to get the people to do what you never did? You cannot manifest or put out more
Word than you possess. You never valued your own soul neither can you value the
souls of other people. You are not born again and cannot get a man born again.
You were not sanctified and cannot get the people sanctified. This is not the
quality of a leader. You need to be
led. To re-enter the Pulpit is spiritual suicide and homicide for the
Church. You will be identified with the
man dressed in black.
Thirdly, here are other
reasons why you are barred from the Pulpit. This goes for all preachers, past,
present or future. If you married the woman you flirted with afterwards, though thirty years ago, your sins were
committed and you sat down for a while but marriage is not a door for re-entry.
Our contention is that you were in the office as a Priest, a Minister, a
Bishop, a Preacher when you fell. Repentance or forgiveness is not the issue.
Because you were not born
again, and still are not, then you cannot understand or see. If you cannot see
then you are blind.
Matthew 15:14 - " Let
them alone: they be blind leaders of
the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the
ditch."
Blind means that both
preacher and congregation are in darkness. You need someone who can see to lead
you to light. When you re-entered the
Pulpit you were still blind. Being blind you fell into a ditch of heresies,
false interpretations, ditch of worldliness and eventually you will lead them
into the ditch of the tribulation where, as the foolish virgins, they will be
purged. No blind preacher is equipped to prepare the Bride for the rapture.
When Pastor Adam disobeyed
God he was forgiven, but he never
re-entered the Garden of Eden. His Bishopric was given to another. When Queen
Vashti disobeyed King Ahasuerus her royal estate was given to Esther. Preachers
when you fell, another who was spiritually capable was needed to lead the Church.
Your sins have brought a
reproach and shame on the Message. Even twenty years after, your wound and
dishonor remain and your reproach shall not be wiped away. Wherever you stand
to preach the Gospel your reproach shall follow you. It is a stigma because you
failed to magnify the Lord before the people. You let down the Holiness
standards of the Message. You have lost credibility. Your actions have
paralleled the Preachers of this Message with those of Organizations and
Religions who have adopted this lifestyle. You are a poor example to the flock,
a poor representative of Jesus Christ. If the Head is sick the whole body will
be sick likewise.
You have betrayed the trust
and confidence of the flock. Will you trust such a man to counsel your wife and
your daughters? When trust and confidence are broken then the faith of
believers will be overthrown. This will result in backsliding and the loss of
souls. Preachers! You are held accountable. The youths who are going through
their temptations will say, "If the Preachers did it and repented then I
can also do it and repent."
Having darkness and unbelief
in the soul, that minister cannot impart life to the believers. All you will impart Preacher is your death
seed, corruptible seed, hybrid seed, heretical seed. If you have the goods as
claimed, why have you constantly changed your doctrines over the years? The
Spirit of Truth guides you into all truth then all you can do is to continuously run a straight line on the Word, from the day of your birth to
this present time. How were you deceived by that false teacher? How were you
misled by Brother Spiritual, then by Brother Deep Revelations?
No congregation is more
spiritual than their Pastor. On re-entering the Pulpit you will further kill
and stagnate the growth of the Church. You need a man with the Word and Spirit
to lead you.
1 Corinthians 4:15 - "
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many
fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.'
You gave the enemy an
occasion to blaspheme the army of Israel. You supplied them with weapons to fight.
In the time of Battle the enemy will use this adulterous stick to beat you on
your wounds. The congregation will also be beaten and will fabricate excuses to
defend your crimes.
You have also disqualified
yourself as a Bishop or Steward of God. (1 Timothy 3:2, Titus 1:5-9)
A Bishop must be blameless,
a Steward must be faithful and the husband of one wife. You are unfaithful and
your life had blame and blemish. Nobody disqualified you. Your sins disqualified
you. You failed at your post of duty and proved yourself unfit and incapable of
your responsibilities on the pulpit.
Leviticus 21:18 - " For
whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach....." In this chapter Moses laid
down the qualification of the Levitical Priesthood, before his ordination or
during his course of duty. If the Priest was found with a blemish, he was
forbidden to approach and administer.
In the New Testament Paul laid down the qualifications of the
Priesthood and during your administration if blemishes developed then that
Priest is forbidden to preach. If it was forbidden in the law, please preachers, can you show us where it
is permissible under grace? Will
Brother Branham stand for such double standards? Absolutely not!
If it is already settled by
repentance and forgiveness in correcting your wrong it is not an access of
re-entry. Sit down humbly and serve the Lord. Let someone mollify your wounds
with ointment and apply the healing balm of
Gilead.
How will you have liberty to
forcefully preach against adultery and fornication? How will you rebuke or
discipline believers who are guilty of such sins? Will they not spit in your
face? Your hands will be tied.
"Pastors who let them people come in, take deacons and everything
else and jobs like that, with two or three living wives, and things, aren't you
ashamed, Minister? Aren't you ashamed
of those things? And take them members in there when they are living in adultery..."
(Evening Messenger, 63-0116)
Here is Brother Branham
crying shame on Ministers for allowing and compromising with adultery in the
Church. What will he do to know that there are scores of his Ministers who are
not just compromisers but are guilty of these sins? Further to learn that they
are presently on the Pulpit. It is a crying shame!
Growth in popularity, fame,
prosperity, followers and swelling interpretations are no evidence that
you have changed your seed. Your track record proves that all you did
was camouflaged under the message. Do not boast that you never committed
adultery or fornication after re-entering the pulpit or after you married to
your guilty partner. You have flirted with the antichrist spirit within the
framework of the Message and are pregnated with his seeds. From the natural act
you now committed the spiritual. This is proof that you are bastard born and
out of the Spirit.
You are de-barred by the
Word and the Message from re-entering the priesthood after you desecrated your
office. You are not born again, were not walking in the spirit and are
de-barred from re-entering the pulpit.
Repent and obey. Life is
precious. Amen!
“ Men who married defiled women,
non-virgins, before or after they came to the message should not preach the
gospel until their wives are dead or divorced and are under obligation to quit
preaching.”
I
Thessalonians 5:21 - “ Prove all
things, hold fast that which is good”.
2Timothy
2:15 - “ Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
I am Sookdeo Ramnarine; a
minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed to be identified with
the Message of William Branham - Malachi 4: 5-6 and Rev. 10:7. I am contending
for the faith restored to us in the
endtime by William Branham.
I want to boldly state here
that this doctrine is heretical and false because it is contrary to the Written
Word of God, and the revealed Word of God brought unto us by William Branham.
This heresy is the work of
certain men who have crept in unawares under the pure message of God, seeking
to pervert and make the Message say something that it does not say.
I am admonishing all believers
of the Message, and especially the ministry to join with us as we make war
against all heresies.
This heresy deals with the
subject of the qualifications of a Minister, as well as one aspiring to be a
minister with respect to the kind of wife he marries.
If she was a defiled woman,
a non-virgin, then he is disqualified from entering the ministry.
If he is already established
as a minister, having married a defiled woman, he should quit the ministry
until such time that his wife dies, or
until he divorces her.
A woman becomes a non-virgin
when she loses her virginity. If she loses her virginity through fornication,
or from a previous marriage to a former husband, from whom she is now either
divorced or widowed, she is then a defiled woman.
According to this heresy, a
man who is married to such a woman is disqualified from entering the Ministry,
and if he is already preaching he has to quit.
I want to refute this heresy
by saying that it has no support from the Scriptures nor from the Message of
William Branham.
This is a wicked and
dangerous spirit trying to make the Bible and the Message of the prophet say
something that it does not say.
The apostle Paul in his
letters both to Timothy and Titus, outlines the qualifications of a Bishop ( Minister ) and with reference to his wife,
says :
I Timothy. 3: 1-2 - “This is a true saying, If
a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then
must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour,
given to hospitality, apt to teach.”
Titus 1:6 - "If any be
blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, not accused of
riot or unruly.”
There are also other
scriptural requirements of a husband and wife, that applies to a minister and
his wife, e.g.
Ephesians 5: 22-23, 25 &
33 - "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is head of the
church... Husbands love your wives, even
as Christ also loved the church... Nevertheless let everyone of you in
particular so love his wife even as himself ; and the wife see that she
reverence her husband."
I Peter 3:1 - “ Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own
husbands.”
There are no Scriptures in
the New Testament spoken by Jesus nor his apostles that disqualifies a Minister
whose wife is a non-virgin or defiled woman. The Lord Jesus chose twelve
apostles, of whom we know that Peter was married before. If this heresy was
true, then surely the Lord Jesus would have said something about it. Nowhere in
the New Testament did Paul, Peter, nor any of the other apostles say anything
to support this heresy. The only thing the apostle Paul emphasized on, is that a Minister must be the husband of
one wife. That automatically rules out
the Minister having more than one wife either by polygamy or, after having
divorced one or more wives, is living
with another.
I quote Malachi 4:5-6,
Brother Branham.
Question - "Bro. Branham is it…
for a person who has a living, divorced mate, who remarry before coming to the
Message to minister?”
Answer - "Well in 1 Timothy. 3:2 and Titus 1:6… If a man desires the
office of a bishop or a preacher he's got to have just one wife - That's right
! a Minister.”

“… Ministers calling from
everywhere ,married two or three times........
To you people who are married
and divorced and remarried, promise me one thing… Go on living just like you are.
Don't try anything else like it, but live,
just go ahead live happy…. Now when I come back the Lord willing, I'll
explain that to you in the Bible … stay just as you are till you hear from me
again on this subject.” (Questions
& Answers page 64-0830E, C.O.D.)
This was Q & A 1964. Now
in 1965 when the prophet preached Marriage and Divorce he said:
“ There is no minister that can marry a widow… all right you get it in
Lev. 21:7 and Ezekiel 44:22. (Marriage And Divorce, 65-0221M,)
Leviticus 21:7 - Speaking of the Priests: “
They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane ; neither shall they
take a woman put away from her husband ; for he is holy unto God.
Ezekiel 44:22 - “ Neither shall they take for
their wives a widow, nor her that is put away, but shall take maidens of the
seed of the house of Israel or a widow that had a priest before”.
“ It will show you that the priesthood was not to marry a woman that's
been touched by man. This type is of the Virgin Bride of Jesus Christ, because
they handled the fire of God.” (Marriage and Divorce, 65-0221M, par. 36.)
Here the prophet is citing
the Old Testament ordinances concerning the priesthood, and bringing it to our
day saying that no Minister should marry a widow nor a woman who had been touched
by man before.
However, note that this
condition only applies to the man that was already in the office of a Minister
and then goes about to seek and marry a wife.
Contrary to this Heresy,
this does not apply to: The man that is already married to a defiled woman,
a non-virgin and then seeks to enter
the ministry NOR The man that is presently established as a Minister having
previously married to such a woman.
These Scriptures and the
words of the prophet do not disqualify such men from the Ministry. On these
grounds they are under no obligation to quit the Ministry.
Matthew. 5:31-32 - “ It hath
been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of
divorcement. But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, saving
for the cause of fornication causeth her to commit adultery and whosoever shall
marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.”
“ See she has got a living husband so no man can marry her…. There is
no grounds for her at all. But it's not for him; because its her, not him. Get
it? You have to make the Word run in continuity. See nothing saying he
couldn't, but she can't… He can remarry, He can remarry again if it's a virgin;
but He can't marry somebody else's wife.” (Marriage and Divorce page 37,
65-0221M)
We see here that the prophet
of God connects these two scriptures of the Old Testament; concerning the
priests, to the ‘Marriage and Divorce question’ answered by our Lord Jesus.
He gives the grounds on
which a minister can divorce his wife and marry another: He can only marry a
virgin; not a widow or divorcee. Notice here that no mention is being made by
the prophet in this Message: Marriage and Divorce, nor throughout his ministry
with regards to the Minister having to stop preaching until his wife is dead,
or he divorces her because she was a defiled woman or a non-virgin. No mention is made of using this
as grounds to bar him from the ministry. On the contrary, with permission from
the Lord, the prophet obtained pardon for all those people (ministers included) who were followers of
the prophet, and were caught up this Marriage and Divorce situation.

In April 1965, in the Message:
“Does God ever change His Mind about His Word” the prophet of God proceeded to
ordain Brother Ben Bryant and other
ministers who were caught up in this Marriage and Divorce situation.
These ministers were forgiven and told to remain as they were. They were not
told to wait until their wives were dead or to divorce their wives if they
wanted to continue in the Ministry. We can see clearly that the propagators of
this heresy consider themselves to be more spiritual than the prophet.
This heresy is a move of
Satan trying to stop the Gospel from being preached. If this heresy if believed
and accepted, it can cause; and I venture to say has already caused much
confusion among the ministers and congregations, churches to close down, and
souls to be lost. This heresy is a result of the Misplacing of a scriptural
requirement of the Minister. The scriptures require that a minister who is
already established as a minister to marry only a virgin. It says nothing about
the wife that a man marries before entering the ministry, whether she was a
virgin or not.
I want to say on the basis
of the Scriptures and the Message of the Hour that this doctrine is heretical
and false. It is a move of Satan, in the form of the White Horse Rider to
pervert the Pure Message of the Hour. In addition, this heresy violates basic
principles of the scripture regarding the interpretation of scriptures
according to : Isaiah 28 : 9-10 - “ Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he
make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk and are drawn
from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept on precept, line
upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little.”
2 Timothy 2:15 - “ Study to show thyself approved unto God a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth.”
Amos 3:7 - “ Surely the Lord
God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the
prophets."
The Bible was written by
prophets and God uses prophets to interpret the scriptures. A prophet is a
“seer” - a Divine interpreter of the Word. Any true Revelation will run in
continuity with the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation and will not
contradict the Revelation brought to us by William Branham.
“ But now that the seals are opened, the spirit of Truth directs us to
the Word. That explains why all the mistakes has been down through the ages,
because the Seals was not opened.”
(Marriage and Divorce page 38 )
For us to go down the middle
of the road, we must come in contact with the Spirit of Truth that came from
the opening of the Seals; and be led by that Spirit of Truth.
I declare this doctrine to
be a false Revelation given to some by the Nicolaitan Antichrist Spirit to
bring the church into bondage. It is a move of Satan to confuse the church and
to stifle the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I hereby call upon all
believers and propagators of this heresy to repent and humble down to the True
Revelation of God's Word.

"The Holiness Message
of the Seventh Church Age Messenger types the Law of Moses: the Bride is now in
the Grace Age and preachers should not stress upon the law of sports, dress
codes, conduct, fasting, praying and such legalism."
Hebrews 12:14 - "Follow
peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the
Lord."
1 Peter 1:16 - "But as
He, which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation,
because it is written, be ye holy for I am holy."
1 John 2:15 - "Love not
the world, neither the things that are in the world, if any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him."
I am Kenneth Bynoe. I have
been a follower of the Message of William Branham for more than twenty-four
years. I am also a Minister of the Gospel here at Bethel Tabernacle, Trinidad.
I am here to examine Article
No. 21 which states, "The Holiness Message of the Seventh Church Age
Messenger, types the Law of Moses: the Bride is now in the Grace Age, and
preachers should not stress upon the law of sports, dress codes, conduct,
fasting, praying and such legalism."
Now, I am very familiar with
this article of doctrine, having contended against it for many years. Some of
the followers of the Message, when they hear of our standard here at Bethel,
against the worldliness that is creeping into the Message Churches, they throw
this doctrine into our face, saying that we are too legalistic. Brethren, I
want to label this doctrine as heresy.
I want to add a definition
to the word 'heresy'. Heresy is any opinion or doctrine contrary to present
revealed truth and to me, heresy is just a sophisticated word for 'hog
food'". Now excuse me if I am sounding crude, but when you are dealing
with heresy, you have to be plain.
The Bible says that the
backslidder in heart shall be filled with his own ways. Proverbs 14:14. Whenever
a people become backslidden in heart, they move away from the leading of the
Holy Spirit and formulate their own ideas, interpretations and doctrines,
contrary to the Word, which ideas and interpretations are not their own but it
is the Devil giving them 'hog food' to eat.
That is what happened to the
prodigal son when he left his father's house and went on his own. He ended up
eating 'hog food', and that is what has happened to some of the followers of
Malachi 4:5-6. They have become backslidden in heart, left the Lord Jesus
Christ, behind as Joseph and Mary, supposing that He is in their midst and they
are eating 'hog food'.
My exposition here is not
just to condemn, nor to criticize; rather it is with the hope that my
exhortation might cause some to get back to the Word, get back to the original
standard of the Message. This is why Malachi 4:5-6 came unto us, He came to
take us back to the Word. Some have not found the grace to keep that original
standard, but there are some preachers upon the face of the earth who are
trying to encourage their brethren to get back to the standard of holiness that
the Prophet established.
Whilst I agree that, in
certain instances, the Holiness Message of William Branham can be typed as the
Law of Moses, I want to say that the Prophet's Message as a whole, is a
restoration of Apostolic Doctrines, which were established under a covenant of
Grace, and which magnified the Law of Moses.
William Branham, God's
prophet was identified in Malachi 4:5-6 as the Elijah who was to forerun the
coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. The whole purpose of his
coming was to restore all things. When he came he restored Apostolic Doctrines.
Therefore I believe it is gross error for these people around the Message to
propagate the idea that preachers should not stress upon the law of sports,
dress codes etc.
William Branham spent
thirty-three years preaching around the World. He preached against immorality,
nakedness, sports, television, against the wickedness that is taking place upon
the face of this earth, which is in a Sodom and Gomorrah condition.
I quote from Brother
Branham:
"Why does the Church want to act like the World. Why do they do it?
I don't know! You say, Well, it's no fun to play poker, just a little bit for
fun. Just a little penny-ante, ever what you call it, it's a sin. You shouldn't
have them things in your house. Why, It's no harm to take this little bitty
glass of beer out there. We just got a few, me and my wife has a few in the
afternoon. And the first thing you know,
your children got a few."
(Adoption , par. 137, 60-0522E)
"Look at the soul, look at
the spirit. Look how the spirit in the
Church has got, hybrid, intermarried to
the world. Oh! What an hour! Flee children! Flee. Flee to the cross. Come to
Christ. Let him lead you." (Leadership, 65-1207, par. 295)
" And if you love the world, the world's travel you go and in the
fall you'll be, see! Come out! You're sons and daughters of the King. Be ladies
and gentlemen. Walk like Christians. Live like Christians, act like Christians,
remember I'll meet you at the Judgment bar, with these remarks." (Things
That Are To Be, 65-1205, par. 137)
Now, I believe that all these
articles of the World are covered by 1 John 2:15 - "Love not the world, neither
the things that are in the World." And the Lord has ordained in
the Scriptures, certain spiritual exercises such as fasting, praying and
waiting on the Lord to help us to deny self. We live in an age where no one
wants to deny self. Everyone wants to liberate himself, they want to free up
themselves, to live it up. This is in fulfillment of a prophecy that Jesus made
concerning the drunkenness and surfeiting that is so prevalent today. But
Christianity is a life of sacrifice, it is a life of self denial. The Lord
Jesus said, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up
his cross, and follow me"(Matthew 16:24) And Brethren, if you
confess that you are a follower of Christ, you would always seek to deny self,
the evil nature.
Now the Apostle Paul said
that the Law was a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be
justified by faith. Galatians 3. He said also in another place, that the Law was
added because of the transgression of
the Children of Israel, until the Faith should come by the Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians
3:19-22. But I want you to notice that when He came, He came preaching
the Law and not just preaching the Law but He magnified the Law and made it
honorable. This was in direct fulfillment of
a prophecy in Isaiah 42:21 - "The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness sake; he
will magnify the Law, and make it honorable."
These followers of Malachi 4
say that we do not have to preach the Law, but when the Lord Jesus Christ came,
He did not only preach the Law, but He also made it honorable. That word
'honorable' tells us that the Children of Israel, who were under the Law, were
never able to honor the Law or keep it. How do you honor the Law? You honor the
Law by your obedience to it. The Scripture says, "Honor thy father and your
mother". How do you do this? By obeying them. So the people of God
before Jesus came were never able to keep the Law, even because they did not
have access unto the Grace of God. The Bible says that "the Law came by Moses but
Grace and Truth came by the Lord Jesus Christ". And notice, when
He came He said, "Think not I am come to destroy the Law and the Prophets, but I am
not come to destroy, but to fulfill. Ye have heard that it was said by them of
old times, thou shalt not kill, and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of
the Judgment". Then He went on to say, "but I say unto you, that
whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause, shall be in danger of the
Judgment". Then he went on to say, "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old
times, thou shall not commit adultery, but I say unto you that whosoever
looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already
in his heart."
What was he doing? He was
magnifying the Law, He was getting down to the very root of sin, down to the
thoughts and intents of the heart. In the light of what has taken place in our
day and hour the Lord's coming was to fulfill the Law and to make a way for the
believers of the Gospel to fulfill the Law by Grace. This was made possible by
the blood sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary. The blood of Jesus
Christ was shed for the remission of all sins. When the Gospel is preached and
it convicts the heart of a sinner, the Bible says, "The goodness of the Lord
leadeth us to repentance."
When a sinner repents at the
preaching of the Gospel, the spirit of God drives out that evil spirit from his
heart that originally had caused him to sin in the first place and as he
continues to sit under inspired preaching, with the correct motive and
objective, he receives Divine Revelation, which is the Faith of Jesus Christ
and which gives him access into the Grace of God.
Romans 5:1-2 -
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein
we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."
The Old Testament people
never had this access into the Grace of God, therefore they were never able to
fulfill all the requirements of the Law. This faith of the Lord Jesus Christ,
this Revelation of Jesus Christ was not preached to them in Old Testament
times. The Bible says, "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing
the Word of God." And the Scripture goes on to say that, "How
can you hear without a preacher, and how can that preacher, preach except he be
sent."
This Scripture hits at the
heart of the problem that we have around the Message of the Prophet. Men have
accepted the Message. They have come over under the Message with their old
organizational births and baptism, without a repentance according to the
acknowledgment of the Truth that came by the Prophet; without starting all over
again; without a Divine Revelation of the Prophet's Message and without a
divine call to preach. They have handled the Message injecting their own ideas
and interpretations into the Message.
The Prophet said that no man
has any right to preach, except he has met the Pillar of Fire in the back part
of the desert and where he has an experience with God until no Devil in hell
can explain away the Word of God from him.
"No man has a right to preach unless he, like Moses, meets Him out
there on that sacred grounds, that Pillar of Fire hanging there, where he knows
where he's at. See?"
(The Future Home of the Heavenly Bridegroom and the Earthly Bride,
Jeff. Ind. 64-0802 - par. 37-2)
That is the problem. We have
a lot of preachers that do not have any calling and who have not been sent to
preach the Message.
So the people under the Old
Testament never had access into the Grace of God, but the Lord prophesied by
Isaiah of another covenant to come. He said, "This is the covenant that I
will make with them, after those days,
saith the Lord. I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds will I
write them. I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people."
Isn't that wonderful!
Whereas under the Old Covenant, the Law was written by the finger of God on
stone tablets, here under this New Covenant the Holy Ghost puts the Law into
the heart of the believer and writes them in his mind making him a written epistle read and known of all men.
The Holy Spirit circumcises from his heart the very appetite for sin. He does
not have to be reminded of the Word by going to the Temple since he becomes the
Temple of God. When he is tempted to sin, the Word rises up to remind him not
to sin. Brother, do not lust! Do not steal! Don't hate, be a good boy.

which, whenever a portion of the Word is revealed to you, whenever you
understand the Scriptures by 'inspiration', it is written upon your heart by
the Holy Spirit. The One that spoke the Word initially, comes down into the
heart to believe and to fulfill His own Word.
Now people transgress the
Law because of sin. The Prophet taught us that sin is unbelief and unbelief has
many attributes:- lying, stealing, murder, adultery, fornication. People
manifest these things because they disbelieve the Word of God from the heart.
So, therefore under the New Covenant the Lord was going to deal with the very
root of sin which is unbelief, an
unbelieving spirit that we were born with because of the fall. All this was
going to be accomplished by the foolishness of preaching. Paul said, "We
are saved by the foolishness of preaching".
Faith cometh by hearing and
hearing by the Word of God. And this faith, which is the faith of the Lord
Jesus Christ, gives you access into the Covenant of Grace, where the Spirit of
the Lord comes down into the heart of a man to live out his own Word. So,
Brethren, there is no struggle, there is no striving, it is automatic. A born
again Christian is in automatic gear. He does not have to strive and struggle
against the things of the World. He is not sad or sorrowful that he is not
partaking of the things of the World. He has the joy of the Holy Spirit in his
heart. He has a peace that passeth all understanding and the Lord has become
his satisfying portion. The Lord has become his joy, his peace. The Lord has
become his strength and his salvation.
This is what the Grace of
God is all about, and anything outside of this is legalism. They tag that label
of legalism upon us. But no! We are under Grace. We have access to the Grace of
God, by a Revelation of Jesus Christ which is the Revelation , the Prophet
said, by which a person is born again.
1 Peter 1:13 -
"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end
for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ:"
So a man is born again by a
Revelation of Jesus Christ and then as the Apostle Paul says, "If
any man be in Christ he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold
all things are become new". A change takes place in the life of a
true believer, his appetites and his ambitions are changed and he has no desire
for the World and the things of the World. But what is it that's happening with
some of the brethren around the Message, they are trying to serve God in their
carnal nature without a Revelation of the Message and the gates of hell are
prevailing against them. They cannot resist the spirits of Sodom and Gomorrah
and they cannot resist the influence that the World is exerting upon them.
There is a Revelation in the
Prophet's Message against which the gates of hell cannot prevail. Love God,
love His Word, love eternal life which is God's own life above every other
thing that the Devil will offer you on this pilgrim journey. Seek the Lord with
all your heart for Divine Revelation and he is obligated to His Word to grant
it unto you. This is God's provided way for you to be an overcomer in this
hour.
The white horse rider has
sought to devalue the Holiness Message of Brother Branham, seeking to emphasize
getting up into a spiritual atmosphere to catch great swelling revelations such
as the 'seven thunders' and getting the brethren to rely more upon experiences,
visions, dreams and emotions than upon the Word and Holiness. Therefore they
cannot access the Grace of God, being outside of God's plan and program to
receive Divine Revelation.
In conclusion, I
emphatically state that this heresy is from the pit of hell and the Devil's
excuse, that preachers who are yet in their evil nature accepted and have
taught such deceptions and hypocrisies unto sincere people who love the Lord,
to lead them away from the Holiness Message of Malachi 4:5-6, thus resulting in
them missing the coming of the Lord and
the Rapture.
Hebrews 12:14 - "Follow
peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the
Lord"'
This heresy has opened the
gate for believers to commit any kind of sin, breaking any commandment of
Holiness on Christian conduct. This is the spirit of antichrist, Nicolaitanism
from the first age changing the Message of Malachi 4:5-6 as it changed the Message of Paul the
Apostle. All true believers must stand like the saints of the early age.
Galatians 1:8 - "But
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that
which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
Paul established holiness,
it was lost through the Dark Ages but restored by Elijah, Malachi 4:5-6.
Thus it is Holiness or Hell!

I am Daniel Seebrat, a
preacher of righteousness following the message of Malachi 4:5-6, God's Servant
and Prophet, William Branham since the year 1964. I am here to refute and to
prove as false and heretical a dogma which says, "The elected bride is to
be gathered for the rapture, within a radius of fifteen hundred miles of the
desert of Arizona, where the angels came down for the opening of the seven
seals."
The scripture supports a
rapture. The word used in scripture is "Caught Up" - a catchting up.
All Bible readers know that
there is going to be a rapture.
The rapture is an actual
disappearing act that will take place in our time. To us who are alive, it
means going to heaven without dying.
And there is going to be a
rapture. The Bible confirms it and the endtime message of William Branham
confirms it also.
"There is going to be a rapture."

"There is going to be a gathering for the rapture."
(Question and Answer, Book one pages 16-17, 23-08-64, condensed)
We are expecting to escape
the tribulation and go in the rapture. It is our hope and concern. But this
heretical article states that the bride is to be gathered for the rapture
within a radius of fifteen hundred miles in the desert of Arizona where the
angels came down for the opening of the seals. This is contrary to the Message
of Malachi Four and Scriptures. If
we understand clearly, it says that if you are not within this area you will
miss the rapture. Article No. 22 is saying, if you are not within this area you
are out of the rapture.
We live in Trinidad, West
Indies. Trinidad is three thousand miles away from America. That is twice the
distance of the fifteen hundred miles of the Desert of Arizona in question.
This heresy is saying that if you are not within that area you will miss the
rapture. The people in Africa, Europe, Singapore and others are further away.
This heretical article is saying that you must be gathered there.
There is going to be a
rapture and there is going to be a gathering for the rapture. The question is
When and Where?
The propagator of this
heretical article is devoid of any Scriptural proofs to support his conception
of the Bride gathering in Arizona for the rapture. He absolutely has no
Scriptural foundation for basing, or to support his dogma. However the Scriptures support the gathering of both
things on earth and things in heaven (Ephesians 1:10) in Christ after the
resurrection and the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:17). This gathering will not be
from a particular place but it will be a universal gathering from across the
world (Luke 17:34-37) at the Last Trump (1 Corinthians 15:52). The message of
Malachi 4, William Branham, God's Prophet and Messenger to Laodicea does not
support such heresy.
I will let Brother Branham
say for himself whether this is true or false by answering certain questions
that were asked of him concerning this subject.
I quote:
Question - "Do all who go in the Bride have to live
within the fifteen hundred miles of the tabernacle as it sounds like on tape
number two of the "Future Home of the Bride"? I always thought the
Bride would come out of all parts of the world at the time of the rapture. Am I
wrong?"
Answer - "No my dear
friend, you are not wrong, you're right. ...No, the bride doesn't have to be in
any certain place. Many of them will be in the dust of the earth. They'll be
around the earth; they'll be frozen in the snow in the north, and the dust of
the tropical jungles and all around the world. But when the trumpet of God
shall sound, the dead in Christ shall arise, waken, and come out of the dust,
no matter where they are. And now, in this, the resurrection will be a
universal. See? Everywhere, every creature on the ball of the earth that's in
Christ will come forth with Him when He comes, see? no matter where you
are."

"Brother Branham, I have some
questions I wish to ask you. I have heard people say that you have advised
people to sell all their homes and follow you to Arizona or they would not be
in the rapture. Is this true?"
Answer - "No Sir! I did not say it! If anything, I've
advised people not to do it....... No, you shouldn't do that. If you want to
go, that's up to you. Course, I don't. My, I don't care where you go, but just
to do that, think the Bride's going to go from there, you're
mistaken................Also I have heard this. I have (Let me.. I got it wrong
somewhere here. Let's see) the rapture.
Is this true or should we sell our homes, or did you ever say this? NO, I never
said it.
But now, to think that....See, what does it? It starts a cult (see?)
and then I get in trouble. They got a group out there now that's going to be on
charity pretty soon. And then what's it going to be? 'We come out here for the
rapture of the bride.' That just what the newspapers are waiting for! They're
waiting to get it when they fall on charity and can't go back to their
homes."

and moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona, where they have interpreted from one of
your tapes titles "Little Bethlehem" the rapture will take place in
Arizona. Did you advise them to go there?"

worst move you ever made in your life. Don't you do a thing like that."

Branham, some understand you to say in your message of the "Future Home of
the Bride and Groom" was to be

middle would be seven hundred each way - be fifteen hundred miles. Oh!) Is this true. I live outside of this area;
should I move into it?"
Answer - "No honey don't you do that..........they'll
come forth out of every crack, crevice and corner of the
world...............the resurrection and the rapture will be general all over
the entire world! No matter where you are at, when that hour comes, you'll be
caught up to meet him! That's all! There's nothing going to stop you, no matter
where you are."

Answer - "No! Now, will the bride eventually go out west, eventually?

Arizona, where I'm living, welcome.....But if you are coming out under these conditions,
thinking that the bride or something is going to go up from Tucson, Arizona,
and there only, you are mistaken. Don't come out for that, don't come for that,
because that's an error. That isn't right."

one down somewhere else. When I seen a vision of the Bride the other night,
they was made up from the international. See? So the Bride won't be gathered

vindicates with the Word, and never has the Word been wrong. And to this time,
neither has the vision ever been wrong, because it's been according to the
Word."

in line with the word. See? And then, I have to watch her. She'll get out of
step with that word if I don't watch, when she's passing by, if she gets

Are we not a little group in
one part of the world expecting to go in the rapture?
Question - "Will
the bride be gathered together in one place at the rapture, and will it be in
the West?"
Answer - "Nope, it don't have to be there. Yeah, the Bride will be
gathered together in one place. That is true, but not until the
resurrection......Therefore, the Bride will all be together when It goes to
meet the Lord. See? It will be together, but it don't necessarily mean that we
- they all have to be setting in one place like this; because the Bride is
sleeping in the dust of the earth around the world, from the Arctic to the
tropics, and from the east to the west, from north to the south.....Look at the
missionaries that died down there in the fields of Africa. Look at them that's
died up yonder in the frozen regions of the North. Look at them that died in
the arena, all over the world, in the Congo and all around across the world.
They've died everywhere, China, Japan, around the world; and the coming of the
Lord will be universal, this rapture will.....It'll be a universal rapture. Yes, the church will all
be together, but after, after the resurrection and the rapture has set

In answering a question about restoring a sinner Brother Branham said:-"Now, the gathering will be unto the Lord. As Jacob in the 49th
chapter, he said, "When Shiloh comes, and the gathering will be unto Him.
There'll not be a lawgiver go until...from between the feet, until Shiloh come," Speaking of Judah,
"and to Him shall the gathering be."Now, so many people are looking
for a church, a great group of people to be caught up together, a church, a
denomination, some creed something to be caught up. That's not it. That's not
it at all...The gathering of the people, when God calls His flock together, He
may take two out of Jeffersonville, two out of Indiana, two out of Kentucky,
two out of Mississippi. That's exactly what He said; not them words, but He
said, "There'll be two in a field," that's where the daylight's at,
"I'll take one and leave one." There'll be two in the bed," the
other side of earth is night time, "I'll take one and leave one."

The gathering of the people will not be clannish, for a group here.
It'll be a universal resurrection gathering together, and the Rapture will come
the same way....Then he shows that the people that are living on earth, it'll
be one here and one there, it will not be a bunch of people gathered together
in a little group....So the gathering will be unto Christ whether I am in
Jeffersonville, whether I am in Sweden, whether I...And wherever it is, is the
gathering will be unto the Shepherd. See? And then together we'll be caught up
with the resurrection to meet the Lord in the air. People will be coming from
all parts of the earth, that's living. People that's dead, and so forth, will
rise. And together the church will be caught up (together) to meet the Lord in
the air. See?
His coming will be universal. It will not be just coming to Louisville.
It will not be just coming to the Baptist, to the Presbyterian. It'll be
"the pure in heart shall see God" and the resurrection and the

The scripture says that the
gathering shall be in Christ.
Ephesians 1:10 - "That

first. Then when our eyes behold our loved ones, then we'll be changed in a
moment in a twinkling of an eye, and with them shall be caught up
together" .

this word to us, that we might know, whether we're right or wrong. We see false
prophets raises up; they're in the deserts, Salt Lake City, all parts of the

Father Divines, and so forth, everywhere...Dear God, so many of these questions
here about the people coming to Arizona....But when they're teaching that the
rapture must come from there, and there alone, or they must be with me, a poor,
unworthy, filthy sinner, saved by the grace of God....Let them come here where
they really hear it, if they want to hear it, not run off out there in that
desert. They are trying to do exactly what this Scripture told them not to do.
Lo, it's in the desert; believe it not! Lo, it's in the secret chamber; believe
it not! Lord, I'm trying my best to warn them.."

This heretical article is
saying that you must be gathered in the Arizona Desert for the rapture. Believe
it Not!
This article is proven to be
wrong and heretical. It will overthrow the faith of many and cause confusion of
mind. It is delusive and can cause insanity.
By the Scripture and by the
quotations of William Branham we have found the propagator of this article to
be a liar and a false prophet. He is a
deceiver. False prophets have crept in into the message unawares trying to
deceive the Bride of Jesus Christ. This article can cause insanity among the
Bride by telling her she must go in the desert of Arizona to go in the rapture.
I call on the propagator and
all those who believe and follow him to repent. Come back to the Word. Come
back to the message. You have been found a liar. False prophets have gone out
into the world. This is the hour of the false anointed ones. They are trying to
deceive the Bride. Repent! There will be rejoicing in heaven.

Joshua 1:1,2,5-7 - “Now after the death of Moses the servant of
the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun,
Moses' minister, saying, Moses my
servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this
people, unto the land which I do give to them, [even] to the children of
Israel. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of
thy life: as I was with Moses, [so] I will be with thee: I will not fail thee,
nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt
thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to
give them. Only be thou strong and very
courageous.”
May the Lord add a blessing
to the reading of his Word. The "Joshua Commission." We believe in a Joshua Commission because
it was revealed to Brother Branham. But there are different heresies that are
built around this revelation, which we term,
“the Joshua Commission.” We do believe in a Joshua Commission.
This term came about by a revelation
that was given to Brother Branham. A vision was given to him, and when he came
out of this vision he had his Bible laying on a table, and supernaturally, the
Bible left the table, came towards Brother Branham, and a hand with a collar on
a cuff turned the pages of the Bible and opened up to the scripture that I just
read from, Joshua 1, and the finger went right down from the first verse to the
ninth verse revealing this commission to Brother Branham. (Early Spiritual
Experiences, 52-0713A. Paradox, 65-0117)
Brother Branham made many
references to this Joshua Commission. Nobody understood what that Joshua
Commission was at that time but Brother Branham had some understanding on it.
The Joshua Commission was only one of the promises that were revealed
to Brother Branham. There are many other promises that were revealed to him. For instance: the revealing
of the Seven Thunders, and the white horse riding the trail again,etc. All
these are promises that were promised to be revealed. However we are
centralizing our attention upon what we call “the Joshua Commission.” Brother Branham believed, and preached, and
looked forward for the fulfillment of the Joshua Commission. Everybody, in
the days of Brother Branham, looked forward for the Joshua Commission..
Joshua was the successor of Moses. That was the ministry that followed
the Moses Ministry, and we just read it in the book of Joshua, Chapter one, where God came
to a man called Joshua, and He said, "Moses my servant is dead, arise and
take these people into the land that I have promised". That was
going to happen within three days time. And the Lord told him, “ no man shall be able to stand before thee
all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses so shall I be with thee”.
Brother Branham preached a message called, “As
I was with Moses”, [60-0911M] in
order to explain this commission, and he made
many references concerning this Joshua Commission.
Brother Branham, looked forward for the fulfillment of that
revelation for the rest of his life but he lacked perfect understanding on how
that Joshua Commission was going to be fulfilled. That should clear up the
understanding of the congregation who had never heard the term, “Joshua
Commission”. I will simplify it a
little more. Moses came with a ministry, having the pillar of fire and two signs, and he came with a certain mission.
That mission was to take the people out
of Egypt land, and take them into the promised land. That was the mission of
Moses. The mission of Moses was incompleted having died in the wilderness,
leaving the people there. This was
the incomplete mission of not carrying
the people over into the promise land.
He knew, however, that there
was somebody to arrive and take the people over into the promised land. It was
also revealed to Moses that that man was Joshua. So after the death of Moses,
the Lord appeared to Joshua and spoke to him and commissioned him with this
task of carrying these people over into this promised land. This land that
was promised to Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob for years upon years, and not
fulfilled, was now going to be given to the Israelites within three days time.
Now, I want you to pay particular attention to this fact here; the
mission of Moses and the mission of Joshua was the same mission. Moses was given the commission to take the people over into the
promised land, but failed on the way and, as a result of that, could not lead
the people into the promised land. So God called another man called Joshua and
gave him the same commission, that is, to continue that ministry. So both Moses
and Joshua had the same goal, which was to take the people over into the
promised land, and divide the land unto the people by lots. This was the
mission of the both of them. So when we
speak of "Joshua Commission" we are actually speaking of the second
phase of Brother Branham’s ministry. The first phase was the Moses ministry
that Brother Branham came with and it was not completed. Just as Moses never
completed his ministry, Brother Branham never completed his ministry. Therefore
the ministry continued in what we call here, “the Joshua Commission”. The
Joshua Commission therefore is to take the people over into the promised land and
positionally place them where they belong.
Now the prophet of God,
Brother Branham, left this hanging here
without saying very much, because Brother Branham himself expected, all the
days of his life, that he would fulfill the Joshua Commission. We cannot get
away from that fact. Brother Branham
expected that he would fulfill that Joshua Commission and take the people over
into the promised land.
While Brother Branham was
alive everybody that followed him expected the same. They expected that Brother Branham was going to go into another phase
of his ministry, and doing so, greater signs and wonders would accompany him.
They were expecting "Speak the Word" power by what is called,
“the third pull”. They were expecting greater signs and wonders and greater volumes of conversions. That is
what everybody expected. However Brother Branham died without fulfilling this
Joshua Commission.
Now, Brother Branham having departed, there arose all kinds of ideas
and heresies and interpretations concerning the Joshua Commission. Certain men
arose claiming to be that Joshua, literally, in different parts of the country and
in different parts of the world. It will take too long to get into these
individual histories how different men arose claiming to be that man called
Joshua to lead the people over into the promised land.
This heresy is another version of the interpretations that are built
around the Joshua Commission. This heresy is saying that the Joshua Commission
was actually fulfilled when the seals were opened.
I studied about four or five
different messages that were preached some time ago in Germany in a large
gathering with both ministers and
congregations present. The substance of all those tape messages outlined their
interpretation of what the Joshua Commission is; and all the tapes were saying
the very same thing to project this heresy, which said that the Joshua Commission was fulfilled at the opening of the seals.
God is presently placing His sons into their inheritance, and when they see the
Word in such a way, that they realize that they are sons and daughters of God,
that is the actual placing of the sons. When they could see by revelation
that they are really sons of God by the opening of the seals, then that is
their actual placing. It also shows
that they are elected, and they have to see that they are sons of God and
daughters of God without any supernatural vindication, just by the revelation,
that these mighty ministers are preaching, that says that the Joshua Commission
was at the opening of the seals.
I defy this heresy! This
heresy is mixing up two or three different subjects. It is mixing up election
with manifestation. It is mixing up faith with the Outpouring of the Holy
Ghost. We defy this heresy as the Antichrist, of the Devil and while we agree
that the end time Bride will believe the Word of God without supernatural signs
and wonders and any kind of vindication, we do not believe that the opening of
the seals was actually the Joshua Commission carried out. And I would prove
that is contrary to the Word of God and by the message of the hour. It is not!
Now if we can find somewhere
in the Scripture where this Joshua Commission was carried out before and see
how it was carried out before, then we can prove that this heresy is from the pit
of hell, not ordained of God and is contrary to the Scripture. I cite Joshua
Chapter one. When Moses, the man of God with signs and wonders and miracles,
who performed ten miracles in the land of Egypt and opened the Red Sea, and was
accompanied with the Pillar of Fire, as soon as he turned the commission over
to Joshua, the commission itself was carried out in supernatural signs and
wonders and miracles. Starting from the river Jordan, the waters of Jordan were
rolled back, which verified that Joshua was carrying out the commission of
Moses and the One that was with Moses was now with Joshua, because He said, “As
I was with Moses so shall I be with thee.”
The commission was carried out in power signs and wonders, in so much
that a city was overtaken with just a few men, and the walls of Jericho fell
down by the sound of the trumpet. We start seeing some signs and wonders under the
ministry of Joshua that we did not see under the ministry of Moses. The
ministry of Joshua went a little higher in signs and wonders and miracles, so
that even Joshua stood that day whilst
in battle and stopped the sun from going down for a whole day, just by the
Spoken Word. A man spoke to the sun and it stood still for a whole day. Not
only that, he commanded the moon also. Many people pay attention to the sun,
but they work together. While the sun sets the moon comes up and Joshua did not
only speak to the sun he spoke to the moon. He said "sun stand still and moon
stand in the valley of Ajalon." The Bible said in that day the
words of a man was obeyed, as I was with Moses so shall I be with thee.
The Joshua commission was carried out in mighty
signs and wonders and miracles. This
heresy that we are dealing with is trying to establish that the Joshua
commission is being carried out without any supernatural signs and wonders and
vindications. It's a lie of the devil; It is contrary to the Scriptures because he
is trying to establish a Joshua commission contrary to the Word of God without
any signs, without any wonders and, without any miracles. The Joshua
commission, had miracles that superseded the miracles of Moses and were of a
different order. When they went around
the walls of Jericho seven times, on the last day they blew their trumpets and
without a man pushing the wall the angels of God by the sound of the trumpets
took their little fingers and pushed that wall down. Nobody had seen the angels there, but it was the angels of the
third pull ministry that crossed the
Jordan. They were the ones who pushed the walls down.
The Joshua commission must accompany signs and wonders
because the same One who was with
Moses promised to be with Joshua and if
the same One who was with Moses came over with Joshua then he is an All Powerful
God. He's a God of miracles, signs and wonders, not a God of intellectualism a
God of interpretations and a God of heresy, like this heresy is trying to
project to us. This heresy is full of intellectualism and through that
intellectualism they spiritualized the commission that God gave today for the
endtime Bride. They spiritualized it because of unbelief and impatience. It
comes just like the day of Joshua if one smart man will say to Joshua “The
commission that Moses gave you was the message of Moses”; The message of Moses
was not the commission. No! The commission was to be carried out and that was
going to happen across the Jordan. This
heresy is saying that the opening of the seals, the Word itself is the
commission. The Word from the opening of the seals is the message of Malachi
4. It is the message of our Moses, it is not the commission, it is a
message of Moses, but the commission must be carried out.
We see that in our Bible. There was another time that the Joshua
commission was carried out and I want to cite that. The Joshua commission was carried out another
time. The meaning of Joshua is Jesus! How many know that? If you are not sure
of that look in the Hebrews Book,
fourth chapter, verse eight, and notice that Joshua was called Jesus in
the Old Testament. Even because Joshua and Jesus carry the same meaning, and
all that it means is “Jehovah Saviour” This
Joshua commission was carried out the second time by our Lord Jesus Christ
himself. Jesus was actually the Joshua of the New Testament and as Joshua
placed the people into a natural land, and divided the land by lots, our Jesus
Christ that is Jehovah Saviour he placed the sons and daughters of God into the
Body of Christ. The natural land that was promised to the Jews was a type of
the Outpouring of the Holy Ghost on the
day of Pentecost. And Jesus was actually the Joshua of the New Testament
and when he came by, he did not give them a natural land but he gave them an
Outpouring of the Holy Ghost. By that Outpouring of the Holy Ghost he placed
every man where he belonged: Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Evangelist and Pastor,
and he endued them with nine divers gifts. So on the day of Pentecost was the
placing of the sons in their respective positions. Also they knew that they
were sons of God and they knew that they
were elected of God before the day of Pentecost.
This heresy is saying that,
when the seals were opened, that was the Joshua commission. And when the Bride
could realize that they are sons and daughters of God, they are placed. I defy that heresy as a lie of the devil.
You know that you are Elected Sons of God by Divine Revelation and by the new
birth. Glory to God: but you are placed into the Body of Christ by the
Outpouring of the Holy Ghost. This heresy is mixing up two subjects
together, it is mixing up, election, faith, revelation as a Son of God with the
Outpouring of the Holy Ghost. It is of the devil. It is of Satan. Joshua was
the Saviour of Israel, while Jesus was Saviour of the world.
Now there is a difference
between translation and transliteration. 'Jesus' was a transliteration of the
name 'Joshua' so that the "Joshua commission" was
carried out in Joshua (Chapter 1) and the "Joshua commission" was
carried out on the day of Pentecost, This shook the world for three hundred
years in that the dead were raised, crippled legs were made straight. We
summarize it this way, the Joshua
commission was the victory of the church over the enemy.
When Joshua carried out his commission, he had the victory over the
enemy and,
having victory over the enemy, he was taking the land that God promised. When
the day of Pentecost came and the Joshua commission was carried out, it was a
victory for the church, victory over sin, victory over sickness, victory over
demon power, the dead were raised and the crippled legs were made straight. I am showing you two places where
the Joshua commission was carried out and it was not dead and intellectual, and
Satanic and powerless like this heresy makes it. Therefore this heresy upon the
basis of God's Word is of the Anti-Christ, is of the devil, it is faithless, it
comes from the pit of hell and nobody should follow it.
The last day Joshua commission
must be repeated as in the Old Testament and as in the New Testament. This is what Brother
Branham looked for. Brother Branham looked for a ministry that will be greater
than the Moses ministry that he went out to the organization with. He was
expecting a greater ministry, greater power, greater signs, greater wonders and
all the people that followed the message during that time expected the same.
Let us see if Brother Branham will say that the Joshua commission and the land
that we are suppose to inherit is a
natural land or a spiritual land! I quote:
“Now what is the land promised to the New Testament believer? The
Promise is the Holy Spirit. For it
shall come to pass in the last days, (Joel:
2:28), that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh”(Ephesians Parallels
Joshua, 60-0515E, par. 38)
I am saying from the words
of the prophet that the land to the endtime church is none other than another
Outpouring of the Holy Ghost from heaven like it was on the day of Pentecost.
“The Book of Ephesians placed us positionally in Christ,
what they was in the Holy Land. We are placed not in the Holy Land but in the
Holy Ghost, the Joshua of today.
(Ephesians Parallel Joshua , 60-0515E, par. 62)
“The Joshua of today puts the Church today in it's order, giving to
each one gifts, places, positions. He is the Voice of God speaking to the inner
man that Christ has saved, the Holy Spirit”.(Manifested Sons Of God,60-0518,
par.18)
I believe in a Joshua for today, and I believe that the work of
the Joshua today is to place the Church in it's rightful position, enduing them
with gifts, enduing them with signs, enduing them with wonders and enduing them
with positions, which equal the five-fold ministry and the office gifts.
Brother Branham concluded that the Land of Promise today is when the sons of
God are positionaly placed in the Holy Ghost where they can have signs and
wonders and miracles.
This heresy is a far cry;
this heresy is a dead doctrine. This heresy is a heresy of unbelief. This
heresy is intellectualism, and this is a different vision to what brother
Branham had concerning the Joshua commission and the placing of the Sons of God
in their rightful position. Glory to God! Brother Branham preached a message
called “Ephesians Parallels Joshua.” Here Brother Branham is taking the Joshua
book and the Ephesians book and he is comparing the both of them. A parallel
means a comparison, and an example of a parallel is two train lines running
together with the same width but they are yet separated. The book of Joshua was
one train line and the book of Ephesians is the next train line but both of
them runs parallel. Brother Branham had a reason for entitling this message
that way. Why would he parallel Ephesians with Joshua? This shows that the
Ephesian Church was the apostolic church. And now Brother Branham is saying the
Ephesian Church was the Joshua Church.
Now, both of them were dominated by signs and wonders and miracles, both of
them were living organisms and both of
them were victorious over the enemy. Yes! So Ephesians parallels Joshua.
After this commission was
revealed Brother Branham had this upon his mind: The Joshua commission. He
looked into the book of Ephesians, and said that this commission that was
revealed to me, is to take the Church back to the apostolic pattern, and
standard apostolic signs, apostolic wonders, apostolic wonders. He said this
Joshua commission means that the Church has got to go back to Pentecost. The
Church has got to go back to what it was in the beginning. That's the meaning
of Ephesians parallels Joshua. He could have said that the Joshua ministry is
going back to the apostolic church and that would be the same thing. Brother Branham said that the Church goes
back to Pentecost, it goes back to another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians parallels Joshua is placing the Church in its rightful
position, with power, signs and wonders. And just as the early Church
demonstrated the Power of God in that early time, the Church is now to go back
to the same power, signs and wonders like they had in the early days. It's a
restoration.
This heresy is a far cry
from what brother Branham projected. This heresy is trying to project to the
people a dead doctrine. The Joshua commission is not a dead intellectual
ministry of the letter and it is not dead
imaginations. It was a ministry of power, it's a ministry of victory over the
enemy by miracles, signs and wonders: The Jordan waters rolled back, the walls
of Jericho fell and the sun stood still.
Joshua's ministry compares with the Ephesians church and the apostles’
ministry. It has got to come back the same way.
Now, Brother Branham and the believers looked forward for such
power while he was alive. They looked forward for the Joshua commission just
like the Bible said it in Joshua one (1), just the same way they read it in the
Ephesians apostolic church, the perfect Church. However the people's faith died
with Brother Branham. Make believers’
faith died when Brother Branham died, because the message was not mixed with faith, (Hebrew's: Chapter 4),
just like under Moses’ message. They that heard the message fell because the
message was not mixed with revelation to them.
I am going to identify this heresy where it belongs right in the
message. Now
this heresy which says that the Joshua commission was fulfilled at the seals
and God is placing His sons and daughters without any supernatural vindication
today is a lie of the devil. It is intellectualism, it is the letter of the
Word and it is unbelief. People had no patience to wait on the Promise of God,
and these people are typed to the people that followed Moses when they came to
Kadesh Barnea and they were filled with unbelief. It has got to play out the
same way. Now let me state here that
this heresy has it roots in a dead faith, a dead heresy, which propagated for
the past thirty years that “all was in Brother Branham”.
This heresy has it roots in the dead heresies that “all is over.”
This heresy has its root in the dead heresy that “there is no more power to the
Church.” This heresy has it roots in the dead heresy, which says that “there is no more revival coming to the church”.
Automatically, these dead heresies are saying that the days of miracles are
over, and the Bride should only believe the letter of the Word, and they
are making reference to their interpretations of what they think the message
is. So these make-believers, their faith died when Brother Branham died.
This heresy of unbelief is
intellectualism, dead faith. I want to
put it right back in the message to identify it. This heresy - let the world
hear me and all that will hear this tape, and all that will read our book -
states that the Joshua commission took place at the opening of the seals, I clearly state here that this heresy is
the mamba snake of unbelief at the Jordan.

The same Brother Branham
that received the revelation of the commission and the Bible came to him and
God told him that there was a Joshua commission to be carried out, a little
later he got a vision and the vision was a map of Palestine. Brother Branham
was walking on the map, and he had come two thirds of the way: There was one
third again to go and he said that one third will take him over the Jordan,
into the promised land where all the promises lay. This is relating to the Joshua commission.
"I was coming down to the Jordan: looked like I was standing on the map of Palestine. And I was coming down to the
Jordan…And as I drew near the river, I looked back and seen which a way I
had come, and I was two thirds of the
way there to the Jordan. And I looked across Jordan, and I said, "Oh,
praise God, just on the other side is
where all the promises lay. Every promise lays in the promised land." it
seemed that I was lifted up and setting on a--a highway, a narrow highway with
some brother. And a voice came and said, "There's such danger in these
days. There's a great hideous thing
that's death when it strikes you." And I heard the weeds a-mashing down,
and I looked, and here come a huge monster snake crawling through the weeds…And
he crawled up on the highway. And as soon as I got sight of him, I knew it was a mamba...And the snake, of course, represents sin, death. See?…And I said,
"Satan, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bind you." …And then
when he did that, that Voice said, "Now, you must be more sincere than what you are to do this." Then it left me,
and I was standing in the room…And so I slipped off into the den room, and I
got down on my knees, and I said, "Lord Jesus, I don't know these things.
And what must I do?… And I took this Bible and just pulled it open like that,
and my thumb was laying at I Corinthians the 5th chapter, the 8th
verse,…"When you come to this feast..." Which, a fast in the body is
a feast with the Lord, “don't come with the old leaven or the leaven of malice,
and so forth; but come with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth," just exactly what He had told me in the
vision…Then I seen what He meant. As He... Years ago, when I seen the Bible come down (I got it wrote right
here.), come down; and a hand came from heaven and pointed down to Joshua, and
read the first nine verses, and stopped there. That's Joshua, come to the wilderness, but never did... He was ready
to... When he got near Jordan, God called him out, said, "This day I'll
begin to magnify you before the people." And then he took the children of
Israel across Jordan to the land where--give them, divided to them, the promised land. I went to the woods, and
prayed, and prayed, and fasted.

The serpent in the Garden of Eden represents sin and unbelief. At what
point did Israel manifest their unbelief? Was it
not when they were about cross Jordan? Was it not at the place called
Kadesh-Barnea ? And why did they not enter the Promised Land. Was it not
because of their unbelief? They entered in not, because of unbelief. Is that
right? And we are heading to a certain land; and the thing that will stop this endtime people from entering the
Promised Land is the same snake, the same mamba of unbelief and sin. It was
shown to the prophet of God. Everything
that doesn't believe in an Outpouring, everything that doesn't believe that the
Church will go back to Pentecost is of the devil. It is anointed of Satan. It
is unbelief and sin and it cannot go over into the Promised Land.
I am saying that you are
standing upon solid ground. And the only message today anybody should be
preaching is back to Pentecost, crossing the Jordan and over into the Promised
Land. That is how you know a true servant of God today. Everybody else under
Moses was saying that they couldn't take the land. Oh glory to God! The only
ones, who were saying we could take the land, were Joshua and Caleb. And that
is how you know the true Bride of Christ today. That is how you know the true
ministry of Christ; they are saying we can go back to Pentecost. Anything that manifests unbelief, like this
heresy is manifesting, is anointed of unbelief, it is the Mamba snake at the
Jordan. This heresy is identified with the Mamba snake at the Jordan.
And how do you identify the true ministry today? The true ministry is saying that we are more
than able to take the Land. And there is a fellow there with Joshua that was
saying. Who does he represent?
“Now, watch close, this is going to have a spiritual background. Now
let us stand like Joshua and Caleb as we see the Promised Land coming in sight.
It's nearing the time to be given. Joshua in Hebrew means Savior and represent
the promised end time leader to take the Church over. Caleb represents the true
believer who stayed with Joshua. Now listen. This is going to mean something.
Joshua waited for that time. No matter how much people might have said, God gave us the land, the promise; let us
go now and take it. They might have said, Joshua you lost your commission. You
are all washed up. Why are you not doing something? You used to know THUS SAITH
THE LORD in a moment and what was the
will of God. But this God sent prophet knew the promise of God, but also knew
to wait for that promise a clear-cut decision from God for his time. Now
watch. And when the time come God gave
it to Joshua who had stayed with Him by the Word, for he could not trust
others; He could trust him. So will it repeat.”

Did Brother Branham believe
in a Joshua commission? Did he believe in a Joshua ministry? Did he say that
Caleb is the end time Bride and believed what Joshua said? (The congregation says,
"Amen") The endtime Bride will continue the same vision of
William Branham. The only way to
identify today, the Joshua ministry is that they would be preaching the Promise
of God, of going back to Pentecost, of going back to the Power of God, going
back to the signs, going back to the wonders, going back to the miracles. And
they are going to have patience to wait on that Promise of God to be fulfilled.
That is the way to identify the Elect now. She is going to believe that
Promise of God that Joshua is preaching.
Anything that says that the
latter rain is fallen, anything that says that the Church is already
positionaly placed, anything that says that there is no revival or power, and
no more signs to the Church, is of the devil, is of the antichrist. It came
from hell and will go back to hell, and not only that, it is identified with
the Mamba snake at the Jordan.
It is stated in this heresy that the opening of the seals is the
fulfillment of the Joshua commission. When you type the land you are typing the
Outpouring of the Holy Ghost, and when you type Caleb, you are typing the
believers of the endtime ministry, the Joshua ministry. Can't you see
that? When we speak of Joshua, we are speaking of the ministry that followed
Brother Branham. When you talk of a Land of Promise you are talking about the
Outpouring of the Holy Ghost, and when you talk of Caleb you are talking about
those that believe the Promise of the Hour. I challenge the world to show that
what I said there is wrong. You cannot do it.
The opening of the seals was
the arrival of Joshua, not the
commission fulfilled. It was the arrival of Joshua with the commission. It
was the greatest event that ever took place in human history. That was Rev:
10:1, which was Christ, the revealed word, also called Jehovah Savior
and when the seals were opened, Joshua
arrived, but the commission was not carried out as yet. They are getting
their lines tangled up here. They know that the seals pertained to that Joshua commission but they are tangling
their lines. All that happened at the seals was that Joshua, the Christ, the Son of Man revealed, arrived and he had the commission to carry out, because Moses
was going away, Brother Branham was going away, the man with the Pillar of Fire
was going, and Joshua was to take over with the vision of Moses.

Any man you hear preaching
this message and would say that you
don't have to get an Outpouring of the Holy Ghost, is not carrying out the mission of Moses, the vision that God gave
to Moses. I am saying that the opening of the seals was the arrival of
Joshua on the scene with his commission. The
arrival of Joshua is different from the commission to be carried out. Joshua
was with Moses, he was anointed, he was given the books, he was given
everything from Moses, but the commission was not carried out as yet. At the
opening of the seven seals, Moses handed over the books, he handed over the
ark, he handed over the tables. He got them on Mt. Sinai and he got all these
particulars, but the commission was to be carried out in a little while, which
is to lead this end time Bride unto
another Outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Regardless of who is dead, Moses or his
servant, the Captain is leading on and we are following the Captain's footstep
wherever he goes. How many believe? Do you see that Brothers and Sisters? The
Joshua commission. Joshua is not dead. Oh My! It doesn't matter who dies, all
of us could fall down and die today, but the captain is leading. Do you see who
is the real Joshua? The real Joshua is
Jehovah-Savior, and I'm proving to you, he was employed in the first
commission, he was employed in the second
Joshua commission. Three is perfection, and he is right here now upon
the face of the earth to carry out this commission with the Holy Ghost and fire. He said his
fan is in his hand and he shall thoroughly purge his floor and he will gather
the wheat into the garner but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.
That prophecy is for today. Follow the Captain's footsteps.

I am Brother Bruce. This
heresy seeks to justify the fact that the Blood of Christ's atonement is yet
effective to sinners, on the basis that since 1963 the bloody Lamb occupied the
vacant seat of God and continued His
mediatorial work. Another version of the same heresy states that He returned to
the mercy seat to continue His mediatorial work after He opened the 7 seals.
I will give you a little background of this heresy.
Some of our tracts, books and tapes have gone out for the first time in many
years. It is not our policy to send our tapes and books since we do not want to
interfere in other people's congregations.
However, we believe that the time has come when there is so much that
is going on, and not only that, but when they would send these literature and
heresies to us, then it forces us to answer. So now this is the thing that
caused us to reply in a book called, “Exposition of Damnable Heresies”, because they sent fax loads
and postal loads of heresies to us, and after reading them I could not stay
quiet. Then we came here and exposed those heresies and returned the answers. I
believe that is fair.
There is a man from Germany, who formulates many
heresies, and claims to be a follower of the message for many years; claims to
be a product of the message here in Trinidad, and probably was in contact with
the “Chief Authority” and he has been living in Germany for about the past
twenty-five years. It happened that a couple of tapes went to
this man, and after listening to the tapes and hearing the Promises of God that
we preach, he got in contact with me and immediately sent me fax loads of heresies. Some
that I had never heard of. I read it
carefully. Being so much to
handle, I wrote him a letter and said
that all these things are heresies and are of the devil, and this letter that I
am writing to you is only a light exposition, but more exposition will come a little later.
So when the book did actually come out, it included some of his
heresies as well as other heresies. That man was so afraid to read that book
that he took it and burnt it. Now, is that any way for a man that calls himself
a preacher to act? The prophet of God said that
he would have enough decency to sit down and hear out a man. And if you wrote
something and projected a certain doctrine, and you do not have the guts and
the Christian decency and the bravery to read out something, then you are
lacking sincerity and you surely don't know where you are standing.
All these things that I am
saying here, I told him in letters, of recent times and also before. He finally
concluded me as belonging to Cain's genealogy, and demanded that I stop
“brothering” him, and said, “You are Cain's family.” That is okay. That is
nothing strange to us here. They have called me everything from God to the
Devil, in the past thirty-four years.
It was reported ot me, and it is not hard to believe that this man, who
claims to be a minister, has no church and he has no congregation. He voices
his opinion on the message everywhere. He is in ministers meetings. He
interferes in peoples’ congregations. He jumps up in ministers meetings and
voices his opinion in Germany, in the conferences, in church gatherings. And I don't think that this man had ever
bounced into a hot wire to oppose his heresies. I am ashamed of the ministers that allowed this culprit and this
heretic to function in Europe and be "a hair in the biscuit." He is going to hear
this just like I am saying it here. "A hair in the biscuit." I am ashamed of the ministers in this
message that would allow such folly to take place in ministers meetings and congregations
and have a heretic like this to interfere in their congregations and not shut
up this man's mouth. Like Brother Paul said in the book of Titus, that there
are unruly and vain talkers,
especially they of the circumcision whose
mouths must be shut. (Titus 1:11)
I want you ministers in Europe to take courage, and to take an example
and be obedient to Brother Paul in shutting up this heretic's mouth, for certainly he has fitted
all the descriptions by the Cretian prophets: liar and a slow belly. The
Cretians that claimed to be Christians, their own prophets prophesied of them
that they are slow bellies and their mouths must be stopped. (Titus 1:11,12). It was stated by
brother Paul that he that is an heretic, after the first and second admonition
reject. (Titus 3:10). Any group or any ministers that would allow a
heretic to function time after time, and not shut up his mouth and not reject
him after he express his heresies, are breaking the Scripture. You are not
obedient to the chief apostle Paul who said,after the first and second admonition to reject such a man.
So this man, does not have a
church, does not have a congregation, and he is laden with heresies and
interferes in everybody's congregation. He interferes with ministers. He interferes with
doctrines. He interferes with the saints, and he hatched up heresies by the
dozens and write letters and bomb people's FAX machines. This is evident by his
interference with pastors in one of our sister churches in USA, where in one day he sent many pages of FAXes to Connecticut,
and the brothers there wrote him a letter to shut up his mouth. Those letters
were trying to evil-speak me and say all kinds of wickedness, and all kinds of terrible things, and the ministers
got together and wrote him a FAX letter and told him, “shut up! We know
differently concerning Brother Bruce, and you cannot fool us, we don't want
any more of your FAXes to come here
because it's damnable heresies.” Oh yes. I believe that that's the way to deal
with a heretic.
So he has a gospel that he goes around trying to unite the Bride by
these heresies.
That man has changed everything in
Brother Branham’s message to fit his doctrine; bend it and twist it, and
twist the quotes, and a very outstanding thing that this man does is that he purposely misquotes the prophet. If
you check back the quotations word for word, he always misquotes the prophet of
God in order to make it say what he wants.
Now this man is a dead unbeliever in a return of Pentecost. A dead
unbeliever in any kind of a Power coming to the church. Yes. He goes around
from place to place; and judging from the kind of letters he writes and everything, one
wonders if he has anything to do based
upon the love gospel. He says, “Don't criticize, otherwise you are not a
Christian. Don't come against doctrines otherwise you are not a Christian.
Don't come against each others heresies.” He said, “Everybody is going to come together one of these days, and we
have to join together to fight the World Council of Churches when the squeeze
comes down.” He has a love gospel.
I wrote him
several letters, and I let him know that he is nothing more than a heretic and
to keep his mouth shut. I wrote him letters and told him that he has no business interfering with congregations and interfering with ministers.
I said, "Together with that, what is your office? Declare your office. Who
are you? Are you a prophet, are you a pastor, are you a teacher, who are
you?" But his office is a little
mysterious; he would not declare his office. I said that the only thing that I
could guess at, is that you are a prophet. You are playing a prophet. Yes. But
he denies that he is a prophet. But, my Brothers and Sisters, a man could deny being a prophet, but in
essence he could be functioning in the office of a prophet. So that's another
deception. He's playing humble, “I'm no prophet,” try to act like Elijah, but
in essence they function as prophets.
And when a man
would get a revelation and say that the cloud that appeared in Arizona is the
thunders, and the angels are the thunders... That is one of his doctrines, and
we cleaned that up here recently, remember that? So that is the man who
formulated several of those heresies. And I want to say here that this book is not just written here or the tapes sent out to target any
individual, or target this one man. These things were sent out to target
heresies worldwide. We are against heresy in every form, and anything that
comes against Brother Branham’s message is of the devil, I don't care who it is. It could be a bright angel
come down from heaven, he could jump down from the moon, he could come down
from the sun, you contradict Brother Branham’s message, my Brother, its heresy.
That's the only way to run a straight line, and if there is any other way to
preach, I don't know it. I never so learned Christ.
All this is compromising going on around the message. I believe in wisdom, I believe in love, I
believe in not threading upon a man's doctrine in certain places and under
certain conditions, but when the time comes to speak up, I believe in speaking
up also.
Although I told this man not to send me any of this thrash again, he is
so unmannerly that he keeps on 'bombing' my FAX machine with these heresies. I wrote him a letter. I
said, “You know what happen, I feel like a man with his hand down in my throat
trying to feed me what I don't want to eat”. I said, “that's the man you are,
you are an unmannerly fellow. You have no manners whatsoever. I told you that I
don't want these heresies and you keep on sending them to me." I said, “You're trying to push your hand down in my throat. Did
you not see me vomit that the last time. Yet you have come back again putting these heresies in my throat. You are
unmannerly! Stop your nonsense!”. Since that he never FAXed.
Recently in a gathering in Germany, this culprit, who went to a
ministers' meeting there, had discussions and a great part of his subject was
me. He had
visited Trinidad recently and came down in support of “the Chief” and the book and hid himself around the country and
then went back. But he went back there with the witness of five ministers that
I am a bad man. I learnt from witnesses there, that he stood up in the
congregation, ministers gathered together, and he told them that he has five
witnesses of ministers that witnessed evil of me. We have a thousand that
witness good things, (Congregation says, "Amen"). You know how many
ministers would have said that Jesus was a bad man, and Brother Paul was a bad
man? No, you have to come back to the
Word of God. And when a man could rely upon such nonsense, it shows that he has
no Word to judge anything.
So now this heresy that he came up with is a new heresy which states
that the blood that left the mercy seat went back on the mercy seat. So he
bombed my FAX machine with this because this was a new doctrine that he came up
with. So in this recent gathering, this culprit
was there, interfering with ministers again, opposing this one, opposing the
next one.
This heresy is saying that
the Lamb left the mercy seat, came out in front, took the Book, opened it,
revealed the Seals, and at the same time, the One who was sitting on the throne
descended from heaven and came down to earth according to 1 Thessolonians 4:16,
and then the Lamb jumped upon that seat and He is sitting there. Since He is presently sitting upon that
Throne, we have Blood in heaven so people could be saved. Have you ever seen
such scriptural ignorance? How many knows that Revelation Chapter four is a
judgment throne? (Congregation answers, "Amen!"). How many knows that
when the Lamb leaves the Mercy seat that throne became a judgment Throne? How
many knows that there is only one place of intercession where the Blood can be
placed on the altar? (Congregation says, "Amen!"). This man, in
essence, is saying that there are two places, one where the Lamb was before,
and now the judgment throne turned out to be a mercy throne. He is a heretic, a
liar and a false prophet! And he has broken every shadow and type in the
Scripture; therefore this heresy is satanic, hell oriented, it came from hell
and must go back to hell!
Now this is an
expression of great, great Scriptural ignorance. This is
spiritually dumb to the core. This is great “message” ignorance. A man like this
should not even open his mouth, much more to try to teach ministers, and
correct ministers and congregations, and try to correct ministers around the
world. Ministers should get together and shut up this man's mouth. He has no
business speaking. This heresy that he has hatched up here is the proof that he
don't even know the letter of the Word. He doesn't even know the Scriptures.
This heresy expresses gross
Scriptural ignorance on the part of the heretic, upon the subject of atonement
and its simple plan evidently documented in the Scriptures of the Old and New
Testament And Jesus said, “You do err not knowing the Scriptures nor the Power
of God.”
Do you know that Pentecostals
and Adventists know better than that? Do you know that people out there in “so-called full gospel” preach a better gospel
than that. Because they all know the letter of the Word, and they know that
there is only one place of intercession. My contention against this heresy is
that there is only one place of intercession that God has ordained. This heresy
here is making it two, and he is turning the judgment seat into a mercy seat.
It's of the Devil!
No Scripture was
given to support this heresy, nor even one quotation of the message of Brother
Branham, God's authority upon the Scripture in the end time (Malachi 4: 5-6), simply because there is
none.
Scriptures declare and establish that God
has only one ordained place within His temple, where the Blood of atonement is accepted for the salvation of sinners. That is upon the
mercy seat behind the second veil the holiest place.
In the earthly temple, Aaron the high priest offered blood upon
the mercy seat once a year on the Day of Atonement for the sins of the nation
of Israel. (Lev.
16-14-17) “And he shall take of the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it with his
finger upon the mercy seat east-ward and before the mercy seat shall he
sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times."
Christ Jesus, the lamb
entered once into the heavenly temple within the holiest place and offered his
own blood upon God's mercy seat for the redemption of sinners.
It's
the only place in heaven that intercession by the Blood of Christ can take
place. (Hebrews. Chapter 8:9) Thus I emphatically state that this
heresy has no Scriptural nor message foundation and is from the bottomless pit,
came from hell and must go back to hell.
It has broken all the types
and shadows of the old Jewish temple set up by the command of God through Moses. It has
totally disregarded the revelation of Paul the apostle in the book of Hebrews where he taught of the heavenly temple
and the holiest place where Christ entered to perform His mediatorial work as a
High Priest after the order of Melchisedec. (Hebrews. Ch. 8,9)..
There is absolutely no
Scripture nor quotation of Brother
Branham that even suggest, and far less to prove that the Lamb ascended the
judgment throne of God after He opened
the seven seal book.
In opposition to this heresy
Brother Branham taught that when the Lamb takes the Book and opens the seals
it's time for Him to claim the purchased possession, “the Elected Bride”
because His intercessory days are over.
“[John] never noticed [the Lamb] before. Why? He had been back there
doing His mediatoral work, for He was bleeding - intercessing for the people
until the last soul that was put on the Lamb's book of Life before the
foundation of the world come in. So then when that last soul comes in, then the
time of redemption is finished. Then the Lamb comes forth to claim His rights
to what he has redeemed." (Seals
pg. 233-234)
“After [the Lamb] had been slain, It had raised again and was sitting
on the Throne, way back in behind the Throne like this interceding for all of
those souls that would come. Then when the last one was here and it was
completed, God still held the book of redemption." (Seals page 234)
"He's been back here interceding until his Blood has atoned for
every person. He has stood back here and done mediator work till everyone
that's been put in the Book has been redeemed… Now He walks out He's done his
kinsman works." (Seals, page 228, 63-0317E)
“Let's speak of this throne now for a few minutes. This was not a
throne of mercy's, mercy throne is finished.
No more mercy, its without mercy… The white
throne judgment is there going to be mercy then? There is not one speck of
mercy to be given. At the judgment throne you could scream“mercy” till you
couldn't scream no more, cause there's no more mercy”. (Revelation Chapter 4,
part 3 - Throne of Mercy and Judgment, 61-0108, par. 91)
“I want you to notice that this was not a throne of grace no more…There
the blood had been gone... The blood was off the mercy seat. And it was now a
judgment seat, because thunders and lightening issued off of it. Is that
right?” (Page 662 - Revelation chapter 4, part 2, Twenty Four Elders, 61-0101, par. 207)
In essence, this damnable
heresy indicates two places of Christ's intercession, One: the holiest from where
Christ came to take the seven seal book. Two: the throne of God which is now
occupied by the bloody Lamb according to the heretic's heresy. Scriptures speak
of only one place within the temple of God, that is upon the mercy seat within
the second veil called the holiest. Thus the throne of God (Rev. 4) is not a place
of intercession but judgment.
This is great, great, great spiritual
ignorance. Great spiritual ignorance in the Word and the message. And I would
tell you how this ignorance actually came about. Let me show you the foundation of this. I'll
stop for a moment, and I want to show you why these preachers that preach “blood
off the mercy seat”, and now preach that the blood has gone back on the mercy
seat, and that God turned the judgment seat into a mercy seat. The foundation
upon which this is laying is ignorance upon the fact of the opening of the
Seven Seal book, and the Lamb coming out of the intercessory place to come and
take the Book and open the seals.
Now let me
explain that to you a little, to understand how this heresy is made. Now, thousands of preachers around
the message are confused about that subject. This is what they are confused
about: It is stated that in 1963 the seal book was opened and the only one who
could open the seal book is the Lamb of God. In order for the seals to be
opened, the Lamb must leave where he is, which is the intercessory box, the
atonement altar, come forward, take the Book and open the seals. These
preachers have one problem, and that is that they cannot reconcile the opening
of the seals together with the Blood still being on the mercy seat. They cannot
reconcile, or they cannot put together the seals being opened and the Blood of
the Lamb still being on the altar of sacrifice.
Now, in their
thinking, if they say that the Blood is still on the mercy seat, then they have
to deny that the seals are open. So now this is their defense, those who preach
that the blood is off the mercy seat, they will answer you this way: “Brother
do you believe that the seals were opened?” If you say "yes", they say, “Well that answers my question. If
the seals were opened then the Lamb left the mercy seat, so that's the answer.”
Now that is gross spiritual ignorance. They cannot reconcile how the Seal Book is opened and how the Lamb is still on the altar of
sacrifice. Let them bounce their heads. Let them humble their hearts. By this
ignorance is why they are so confused.
What has brought about this
heresy that the Blood went off the mercy seat, and the Lamb opened the book and
ran back on the seat and sat down, is that when these heresies were exposed, it
went out with such power that it exposed all of those preachers to show them
that the blood is still on the mercy seat, but they don't know how to explain
it. And not knowing how to explain it, they are searching for a place in heaven
to put back the Blood. So this fellow took the Blood and put it on the judgment
throne.
At the time of this writing,
this poor, ignorant and deluded brother from Germany, having read my brief but
compact exposition of his heresy, yet expressed total blindness in understanding
the simplicity of the Word that reveals that there is only one place of
intercession in heaven like in the temple of Solomon, and that the Throne of
Revelation chapter 4 is a judgment throne when the Lamb leaves the mercy seat
within the sanctuary.
His defense, which he
ignorantly states, is that there is only one throne in heaven and it's behind
the second veil, and indicated proudly, that it is the mercy seat. This is
gross, compound and wholesale scriptural infidelity, which cannot separate the
sacrificial altar, or place of intercession, from the throne of God.
He defends his compound
heresy by the fact that the Lamb could not be found by John-(Revelation chapter
5). Therefore the throne and the mercy seat of Revelation chapter 4 must be one
and the same, and it's located behind the second veil in the holiest place, he
claims.
This has broken the shadow
and the type of the Old Testament where only the High Priest did enter. Here,
this heretic has all the activities of Revelation Chapter 4 and 5 going on in
the holiest place, or place of intercession: angels, beasts, announcements,
opening of seals and twenty-four elders sitting upon twenty- four thrones.
The prophet of God taught us
different to what this heretic is saying:
“And now, we found out that a slain lamb is a bloody lamb, bleeding all
over. It's been slayed. After It'd been slain, It'd raised again and was
setting on the throne, way back in behind the throne like this, interceding for
all those souls that would come. Then when the last one was here and it was
completed, the... God still held the Book of Redemption. See? Now, He's just
doing the Kinsman work now… Now, notice, but then after it was all over, after
the--His--His interceding was done, He comes forth, takes the Book out of the
hand of Him.” (Seals, 63-0320, page 234)
Intercession is taking place behind the throne says Elijah.
“He's setting at the right hand
of God tonight doing His mediatorial work. And when that last soul is saved
that was redeemed and seen and knowed by God before the foundation of the
world, when that last soul's saved, that closes the Book. Then the Lamb comes
out and takes the Book out of the right hand of Him that sets upon the throne.”
Christ Is Identified The Same, 64-0415, par.E-5)
He further seeks to justify
his heresy by stating that there is only one throne. The scripture said that
there were twenty-four elders sitting upon twenty-four thrones.(Revelation
4:4). Daniel 7:9 said: “ I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the
Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his
head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as
burning fire.”
In response to this man’s
sending his heresies, along with copies of correspondence between him and
Dalton Bruce, by FAX to a sister church in Connecticut, the brethren there sent
him a four-page letter by FAX and by post in early June 2001. The following is quoted (by permission) from
their letter:
“As I have never met you
before nor have I ever written to you or even ever heard of your standing post
in Germany, I can only speak to you according to the correspondence I have from
you to Brother Dalton, he to you and you to me.
“You, Sir, have forgotten the
very teachings of Brother Branham, whose words you quote in an attempt to
support your own views.
“Have you not, Mr. Roberts,
just sent to me two letters expressing bitterness against Pastor Dalton
Bruce? The congregation here at Grace Covenant
Church, along with the ministers, are very well taught in such matters. We will not drink of your poison. Neither will I allow the ministry here or
the congregation to drink from your cup of bitterness and private
interpretation of Brother Branham’s message.
Who gave you the right to interpret the seven seals or the seven unknown
thunders when Brother Branham said, ‘Don’t put your interpretation to it.’ Who gave you the right to disbelieve in an
outpouring of the Holy Ghost when Brother Branham said the Church must go back
to Pentecost?
“The very intent of your
letter to me is to try and seduce me over to your way of thinking and I abhor
such a thought.
“You have the same spirit on
you that was on the Nicolaitans in the early church, after it had received
truth from the Lord Jesus Christ, for He said, ‘Ye shall know the truth and the
truth shall make you free.’ Yet the
church came into bondage under a pretended love-‘Why, we’re all brothers,
believe what ever you want. Let us
preach love and join ourselves together.’
That is Truth mixed with error!
“Because of that instance of
pretended love, because Truth was being mixed with error, the early church lost
the Power of God and plunged into the dark ages.
“There are many different
interpretations of Brother Branham’s message, yet there can only be one true
revelation of his message. It is by the
truth of this one revelation that all of God’s children will come together and
be set free. There is ‘One Lord, One
faith, one baptism,’ (Ephesians 4:5) not a hundred different faiths. The joining of God’s people today is not by
a pretended, hypocritical love but by one faith, one revelation of Brother
Branham’s message. Brother Branham
said:
‘And at that day we would know that He was in the
Father, Father in Him and He in us, that together we were one. What a union of oneness that would be to see
God in His Church till every member is just perfectly in harmony with each
other and God. That’s the Church that
Jesus is coming for. That’s when His
prayer will be answered, that we will be one.
And it is the only grounds of fellowship that God has ever laid down for
Himself and His Church, is the oneness of Himself in the people.’ [Oneness With God, Jeffersonville, IN,
62-0211]’
“How
can we ever be in harmony when each ‘believer’ goes his own way, believing his
own revelation and arriving at his own interpretation of the Scriptures and
Brother Branham’s message?
“If
God sent Brother Branham (which He did) to separate Truth from error, who has
given you the right to join Truth with error among those following
Brother Branham’s message? For, no
matter how sincere you are, you are trying to join Truth with error.
“To
be quite honest with you, your problem is that you are upset with correction of
your doctrine by Brother Dalton. If you
were truly called of God and truly had a God-called ministry, no one would be
able to refute your ministry or to prove it wrong-not even Brother Dalton-for
God would vindicate it Himself. But the
Bible says, ‘Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.’ (I Thess. 5:21)
“Therefore, I send this letter to you in all love, in hopes to change
your mind as your soul is in jeopardy.
The Apostle, James, wrote ‘Brethren, if any of you do err from the
truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner
from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a
multitude of sins.’ (James
5:19-20) However, the Apostle, Paul,
wrote to Titus: ‘A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition
reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned
of himself.’ (Titus 3:10-11)
“Brother
Dalton has sent you several letters of admonishing. Please consider this letter from me, and the undersigned
ministers, your second admonition.
Please do not send me any further correspondence to trouble me or the
minds of the saints unless it is to repent. If no letter of repentance is sent then I shall count you as a
heretic, for a humble heart receives the word of correction with gladness.”
The
letter was signed by the pastor and three associate pastors.
The
exposition and rejection of this man’s heresies made manifest the true
qualities, spirit and hidden intentions of this heretic. These are evident by his own letters of
response which resemble, in many respects, the tactics, rage and activities of
the Jesuits when exposed. However, I
will let his own letters, signed by himself, reveal to my audience what spirit
is upon this man-Hitler’s or Jesuit!
Since he has complained that he has been misquoted, his letter dated 23
June 2001, is shown here as it was received by FAX except for single spacing
rather than the double spacing that he used:

Another
letter, dated 22.06.01 and received by FAX on 23 June 2001, includes only a few
lines of his heresy’s defense. Much of
the letter spoke evil of a brother’s unsaved wife. I refuse to be a partaker of his evil deeds by publishing it
here.
A
letter, received by the brethren in Connecticut on 28 June 2001, gives further information
as to this man’s intentions. Portions
of it are quoted here as he sent them:
“All the letters will be carefully documented
together with my letters side by side and a video will be made which goes on
the internet and let the antichrist do what he wants to do with it.In the very
first issue by videophone a copy will be made. The Jesuits are dying to get
material from the inside of the message groups and I will diliver this to
them.I am sick and tired of the tribal battles which socalled message men have
been fighting all these years,and this is what is holding back that 3rd pull.
“So
you have eaten at his house and you must support his battles against other
ministers,but now everyone of you will sing another song soon.every effort was
made to appeal to you to stop cursing and criticizing other ministers.I tried
to stand in the breach and got shot at by Bruces filthy spirit that teaches
noone but the prophet has the baptism of the holy spirit.
“Don’t
be surprised to see all yours names in the newspaper.I will make sure they get
the fact good.if this is what it must take to wake you men out of your
spiritual sleep so let it be done.
“On
my last trip To Trinidad I saw a lady in a shop that looks like a message
believer,and she was.I asked her if she knew Bruce.She said yes sir,but he does
not permit his people to have fellowship with other message believers.Sir,that
is Jehovah witness practice.
“All
for now and don’t tell me I must’nt write you sir.As long as you claim to
believe this message,I will pen what god gives me to pen.When men were sent to
Israel they never asked permission nor did they compromise.I have nothing to
lose,but all to gain,my theophany is calling me,If you had a revelation of the
thunders you would know this too.bro.Roberts”
It
seems obvious that this heretic will not and cannot receive correction upon the
Word of God. His persistence in
continuing to send his heresy doctrines to ministers who do not want to see
them shows his lack of knowledge of the Scriptures and of Brother Branham’s
message and example. Men of God will
not go where they are not wanted and will not force their doctrines on those
who are not interested. Brother Branham
waited for invitations to set up meetings and often held back on preaching
doctrine until he was in his home church.
Jesus would have passed by the ship in which His disciples were
struggling with the waves. Jesus, at
Emmaus, would have gone on but for the invitation of His hosts. This man, Roberts, says that he will send
his claimed revelation without regard to whether his vomit is wanted.
We
have never discouraged fellowship with message believers. However, when people claim to be a believer
but show by their life and the things they say and do that they are not a
believer, we then discourage fellowship with that person--as did the apostles.
The Scriptures say, “What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what
communion hath light with darkness? And
what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with
an infidel?” (II Corinthians 6:14-15)
Brother Branham said:
“Oil and water won't mix. That's right. Neither will a believer
with unbelief mix together, you got to be one side or the other.You've got to
make a stand and continue to stand.”
(Father, The Hour Has Come, 56-1002A, Par. E-18)
“Learn not the way of the
heathen, the unbeliever. Stay away from
him. See? Don't fellowship with it at
all. He's a unbeliever.” (Sign Of His
Coming, 62-0407, Par E-26)
I
would ask one question concerning a comment made in the 28 June letter (portion
not quoted above) that the prophet of God said, “Thus saith the lord all the
visions which god gave me have fulfilled(the tent too).(1965)” First, this is
not a direct quotation and he did not say, “Thus saith the Lord.” Brother Branham’s words were taken out of
context and without understanding.
Brother Branham did say just twenty-eight days before he died, “The
works that the Holy Spirit is doing today by these visions never failing,
promises never failing, all the apostolic signs promised in the Bible of
Malachi 4, and, oh, the Revelations 10:7, all of that is being fulfilled and proved by scientific, every other way. (Works Is Faith Expressed, 65-1126, Par.
311)
Brother
Branham told of his 1933 vision in the Church Age book. The seventh part of the vision “Was wherein
I heard a most terrible explosion. As I
turned to look I saw nothing but debris, craters, and smoke all over the land
of America.”
One
question: When was the seventh part of the 1933 vision fulfilled with “Nothing
but debris, craters, and smoke all over the land of America?” Or, more
specifically, When, after July 1964 (when Brother Branham said that two parts
were yet to be fulfilled) and before February 1965 (when the above comment was
made) was the vision fulfilled? Anyone
who lived in Germany for any length of time must know about “debris, craters,
and smoke,” because, in many places, the debris and craters from World War II
can still be seen. This has not
happened in America or the whole world would know about it.. Obviously, this man’s “revelation” is faulty
and he needs to repent.
This
point is dealt with at length in the Book, “Exposition Of Damnable
Heresies-Bars Of Interpretation-Book One,” beginning on page 33. Mr. Roberts would know this if he had not
(as he said in his FAX of 11 May 2001) burnt the copy of the book that was sent
to him.
In
early July 2001, Mr. Roberts again “bombed” the FAX machine of the Connecticut
brethren, again confirming his heretical, unscriptural intentions, with the

Such
a man as this, refusing Truth, refusing instruction, attempting to peddle his
ungodly doctrine to people who are earnestly contending for the faith once
delivered to the saints, attempting to silence true ministers of the Gospel by
unscriptural threatenings, will be amply rewarded for his deeds.
We
know Bob Lambert’s life-that he was humble, clean living, zealous for the Word
of God, upholding Brother Branham’s message, faithful to his family and the
message of the hour and was diligent in correcting heresies that lifted their
heads in his assembly. He was a martyr
for the Word-killed as he walked in a park with his wife. Mr. Roberts seems to be saying that he knows
more about Bob Lambert’s death, never having seen nor heard him. If so, the Connecticut State Police will be
interested in asking him some questions.
More likely, all he can write are more lies that have been circulated for
thirty years.
Mr.
Roberts’ method of gathering “information” was exposed in his own 28 June
letter where he talks about taking the word of a woman in a shop. He accepted her lie without checking it out
and then scattered it abroad. In the
same letter, he repeated another lie told about Dalton Bruce-that he teaches
that no one has the Baptism of the Holy Spirit except the prophet. Again, if he had bothered to read the book
that he so quickly rejected and burnt, he would have realized that this is false. In the introduction to the “Exposition” book
(referred to above) is this statement: “I now present unto you, born again
sons, filled by the Holy Ghost, evident by the word and the revelation which
they preach….”
There
is great danger in repeating lies, generating and repeating heresies, rejecting
out of hand anything that does not agree with your own preconceived notions and
having a made-up mind. This is totally
unscriptural. St. John wrote, “Try the
spirits whether they are of God….” (I John 4:1)
(On
account of rumors and lies about Bob Lambert that have been scattered
throughout the world among the followers of the message of Malachi 4:1 for
thirty to forty years, it has become necessary for believers to know a little
more of the truth concerning his life and ministry. Certain of his associate ministers and congregation, some of whom
were acquainted with him almost from the time of his conversion, are now
preparing material for a book to be made available to message believers who
might be interested.)
His plans cannot do us any harm, for if he had not burnt our book, he
would be conscious of my endorsement, with the rest of the ministers of the
message, of all the expositions of heresies that were included. This also is clearly
stated in the Exposition Book.
If he had the Word, he wouldn't have had to solicit the help of the
Catholic Church, the local newspaper and television. Judas solicited the help
of the Pharisees to put Jesus to death.
This resulted in exalting His (Christ's) throne higher than Satan's.
This hertic's plans will only cause our good work to be further published at no
expense of ours, though his “love gospel” has turned into a hate gospel, fully
manifesting his true spirit as a heretic, plus.
Ephesians 5:13 “But all things
that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make
manifest is light.”
The light of the Gospel has
manifested his true spirit, when he, like a cat was raked the other way, his
gospel changed from a “love gospel” to a hate gospel, by the Light.
Let our audience judge in
themselves; is this a manifestation of love or hate, to the prophet, to the
message, and all the followers of the message of Malachi 4? The second part of
this heresy states: “The lamb came from
the mercy seat took the book open the 7 seals in 1963 and returned to the mercy
seat in heaven to continue his mediatorial work”.
This heresy went a little
further by another from North Trinidad. I must compliment the efforts of this
heretic to keep the blood of Christ in it's only intercessory place ordained of
God, which is upon the mercy seat behind the second veil called the
holiest. However, this also
expresses gross ignorance of scriptures and the message of the hour, as it breaks every shadow and type of the Old Testament
temple, which was a shadow of the heavenly.
As I had said before, these preachers cannot reconcile how
the seal book is opened and how the Lamb is still on the altar of sacrifice. As a result, when this
heresy of the Blood off the mercy seat was exposed, a fellow here in Trinidad,
my good old preaching partner, formulated this heresy that the Lamb came out of
the Holy place, opened the seals, and when he had finished, ran back and sat
down. Now that's the dumbest doctrine. The first time that came up, the
brethren blew it up with the Word of God. And how they blew it up with the Word
of God was with one Scripture, which said that Christ entered into the Holiest
place once to make intercession for our
sins. (Hebrews 9:11-12) ONCE! That means that if He went back in,
then He went in twice. That means that if Jesus opened the seals and ran back inside,
then He went in twice. Then you bring Him right down to the place of the
Aaronic priesthood, because the Aaronic priesthood used to go in year after
year.
Any-time you say that Jesus
came and took the Book and opened the seals and went back unto the mercy seat,
you have broken the type of the Scripture and have devaluated Christ right down
to Aaron, because Aaron, the natural High Priest, used to go in there year
after year. But the Bible verified in the ninth chapter of the book of Hebrews,
that Christ entered into the holiest once to make intercession for us. And
anytime you have him coming out there and going back inside, you put him in
there twice. There is no escape for this heresy and this heretic. You can't
escape. So now this is gross spiritual ignorance.
It has reduced and
devaluated the ministry of our High Priest Christ Jesus from the Melchisedec
priesthood to the Aaronic high priest hood by saying Christ that entered into
the holiest place more than once. Such a heresy is blasphemous, unscriptural,
and cheaper than any organizational teaching upon Christ's atonement for
sinners. They all believe Christ entered once into the place of intercession
and remains there until the last elect is saved.
Hebrews:6:19-20
- "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast,
and which entereth into that within the veil. Whither the forerunner is for us
entered, even Jesus made an high priest forever after the order of Melchisedec
."
Hebrews:9:24 -26 - “For Christ
is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of
the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into
the holy place every year with blood of others: But now once in the end of the
world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.”
"Therefore as long as there was one name that had never yet been declared in earth, Christ had to stay on as an intercessor to take care of that name. But
as soon as that final name has been splashed in that Clorox bleach then His intercessory days were over. Let him that is filthy be filthy still. Let
him that is holy - he's holy still. And he leaves the sanctuary and then it
becomes a judgment seat. Woe unto those outside of Christ then”. (Seals Pg. 126)
It is evidently clear from
the Scripture,
and teaching of the last church age messenger, (Rev:10-7) that Christ our high priest entered once into the
holiest place to make intercession for us and only when the last soul is redeemed does He leave the sanctuary.
The Blood goes off the mercy seat and
God's throne of grace becomes a judgment throne.
Thus there is no need for
Christ to return to the sanctuary, contrary to Scriptures, nor to sit upon God's
throne (Rev: 4) to continue his intercession, for sinners.
The doctrine went out that
the Blood is off the mercy seat in heaven but is in the Bride of Christ, the
five-fold ministry or a chosen seven thunders prophet.
That heresy was blown to
bits by God's weapon of mass destruction, the Word of God by tracts, books, tapes and the
preached Word. But how blind can a heretic become!
When he refuses to repent for his heresies. A proud unrepentant heart
will always formulate new heresies to justify old ones, when they are
exposed, that he may bind the people to himself by his deceptions, but true
gifts of God are ordained to expose all
heresies, both old and new bringing
deliverance to God's Elect.
